Ingredients
Serves 22 fistfuls of dried sweet corns
Salt as per taste
1 desertspoon butter
1 dessertspoon oil
Pepper as per taste
Directions:
To follow the procedure, you need a big pot with a lid.Put butter and oil inside the pot together. Turn on the heat and allow to heat a bit ( so that e butter is melted). Then, add in corns and spread all over the bottom and cover. For a few seconds, let the heat heighten and then reduce it to low. After almost 1 minute you will hear the corns pop and touch the lid. Every now and then, hold the pot firmly and shake well to avoid burning. When the sound is over, turn off the heat and after 1 minute, open the lid and add in salt, pepper, or thyme. Make sure there is no corn to pop and then uncover the pot.
Key Points:
Some would think it is better to make it with butter only but the usage of butter will cause the corns to burn and get black.If you have a spray, you can sprinkle vinegar as long as the popcorns are hot. That's vinegar popcorn.
