One of the purposes of West and arrogance society of the world has always been easy achieving oil and abundant gas of Middle East, and on the other hand, attracting oil dollars through increase of exporting goods to oil countries.
Besides, preserving dependent states, which provide background and preparation of giving cheap oil and selling expensive western products and especially weapons, are intensely interesting to colonialists. They think that they can achieve this goal by full-scale support of dependent states and fighting Islamism.
Of other interests of West in Middles east is preserving and strengthening Israel because Israel is a valid tool to supply the interests of the West in the region, while Israel's survival is not possible without the support of the West as well.
From this perspective, we can understand the cause of rapprochement and strategic relations of Israel and the West. Middle East has a great importance due to having huge gas and oil sources and cultural and religious features and hence, it has always been invaded by arrogant powers. Some of the highlights in this area include:
1. Oil and gas: oil and gas in the Middle East constitute the most important regional superpower because: First, the richest, about or more than 60% of Vital material lies in the Middle East, while limited oil and gas reserves of non-Middle East countries will be finished in the coming decades.
Secondly, investment in mining and oil production in the Middle East and particularly in Persian Gulf is more cost-effective than other parts of the world for reasons such as the presence of oil in the surface layers of soil, governmental oil wells and waterways close to shipping.
Thirdly, the yesterday development and growth of today of the West is not possible without oil. Hence, its need for oil is rising. Also, the need for a fuel such as gas, which does not cause environmental pollution, is strongly felt. Thus, now, the West has no burning substance in hands that could replace it by oil and it is not expected that in the near future they will be able to achieve such a substance.
2. The consumer market and liquidity absorption: economy of the most Middle East countries is based on oil. Rising oil prices, in recent decades, particularly in the two periods after the Arab oil embargo against the West (1973) and the Islamic Revolution (1979) gave a great wealth to the Middle East countries. This great wealth is due to non-productive economy and growing consumerism in the Middle East, and purchasing consumable items from the Western industrial states. Global imperialism, consumerism, buying old technology and also investment in the West are encouraged because abundant liquidity can be used as a weapon against their economy, so that the seizure of Iranian assets and deposits in America by Carter was "mainly due to America's intense fear of Iran's possible actions to sudden remove of their deposits from banks in America".
3. The arms trade: access to income and profits from the arms trade is of other global arrogance's objectives in the Middle East. In addition, the strategic position, petrodollars, the ubiquity of powers, imposed wars and dummy crises have provided possible seizures and lucrative areas of arms. According to the above reasons, America, the former Soviet Union, Britain, France, Italy, Spain and Brazil were the main suppliers of arms to the Middle East, in other words, three countries of America, Britain and France in 1973 to 1977 and 1979. to 1982 were the largest exporter of arms to the Middle East (Persian Gulf) and Saudi Arabia and Iraq were the important buyers of arms from America and the former Soviet Union, and also defense spending in the Middle East and North Africa among developing countries were in the second place. Arms black market estimates should be added to the purchase, too; of course, both exporters and recipients of weapons justify their work in the favor of their interests.
4. Political interests: In addition to the economic purposes, the political interests have let the world powers come in the Middle East. The ability to realize political interests, such as making regimes (such as Israel regime), keeping dependent regimes (such as Kuwait), punishing recalcitrant states (such as Iraq), trying to fall democratic states (such as Iran), monitoring the opposition regimes (such as Libya), setting up puppet politicians (like Algeria) and other issues determines the area of influence and territory of regional rubbery of the great and international powers. In fact, efforts are for expanding cultural and ideological influence (such as communism or liberalism) and priority of it over political influence, only to provide a context of economic plunder of Middle Eastern countries. Understanding this fact, according to the rule of material culture in hegemonic countries is not difficult. Facing the phenomenon of Islamism, which is a product of the Islamic Revolution, is of other political interests of the colonial powers in the Middle East, and this is why while the parties such as the Islamic Salvation Front of Algeria and the Islamist Welfare Party of Turkey are committed to Western like democratic principles, they encounter the wrath of Western countries and Israel. Of course, the West has exaggerated Iranian threat to mobilize all their resources and cross-regional and regional allies so that by collective action destroy countries (such as Iran) whose revolution result in true peace to the world. Jimmy Carter, former President of America, preferred political suicide than support of Israel. His security national advisor also knew America as Israel's foreign representative. Such an attitude, which has always been observed in the governments of previous and next men of America, led to sending massive aid to Israel and the unwavering support of the usurping regime in the decades after World War II.
Birth of Zionism
Zionism comes from Zion or Sion which means dry mountain or full of sunshine, and is the name of a hill in the southwestern city of Jerusalem in the Palestinian Territories, and it has several historical monuments and religious sites, and in some of the myths and legends they say that the Jews' savior will rise of the same mountain and sets their absolute power over all nations of the world. Choosing this term by early Zionist leaders and founders has had certain political purposes. In different interpretations and definitions of Zionism they say: "in the slang of people of Israel, Zionism means deceptive self-superiority own self. One of Zionist ideologues writes in this regard: "Zionism is as an ambulance that speeds up to save the Jews by violation of the driving rules..."
In some of other definitions we see that: "... Zionism is a colonial phenomenon mainly, but with a dedicated fake coverage, which is a false religious myth", "Zionism does not use the Jewish tradition it just the only uses it as camouflage excuse and justification of it." Some say about the definition of Zionism that" modern Zionism is the ideology of organizations and the practical politics of the bourgeoisie of wealthy Jews that has alliance with the exclusive circles of United states of America and other imperialist countries. In short, Zionism is a political phenomenon and movement that claims collecting Jews and the so-called liberation of them wrongly and falsely advertised and it is not only the anti-Semitism but it is anti- monotheism and anti-religion-, and the problem of occupation Palestinian land is the introduction of purposes of this issue to conquer and eventually rule the world and also removal of faith and divine religions. Despite the claims of many sources, Phenomena known as Zionism were not born with the first Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland in 1897, because its practical seeds were put in the soil long before the manifestation of this word in the world of politics and political culture, so Congress Wing was indeed the history of Zionism activity and sometimes its target going public. Perhaps we can say that the first Zionist that theorized the thoughts and ideas of Zionists as the political arm of the Jewish people was "Theodor Herzl", Jewish Austrian politician and journalist, who wrote a book entitled "Jewish state" and offered the suggestion of Jewish statehood at the first Zionism World Congress in 1897 in Switzerland. Herzl suggested current location of occupied Palestine as one his proposals and from then until 1917 that "Lord Balfour", Secretary of State of England, recognized the Jews' right in Palestine for statehood, 20 years passed; twenty years that showed purposeful activities of Jews around the world, activities that were solely directed to political channels, and religious issues were considered only as an excuse for political purposes.
