Zarare says '' I along with Hamran or Bakir attended Imam Baqer and stated to him '' we have some norms in friendship with persons. If someone agrees with us in matter of guardianship (whether Alavi or not), we make friendship with them and if someone disagrees with us, we will avoid them''. Imam Baqer states
''يَا زُرَارَةُ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ أَصْدَقُ مِنْ قَوْلِكَ فَأَيْنَ الَّذِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ «إِلَّا الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الرِّجالِ وَ النِّساءِ وَ الْوِلْدانِ لا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ حِيلَةً وَ لا يَهْتَدُونَ سَبِيلاً '' Nisaa/ 98
''أَيْنَ الْمُرْجَوْنَ‏ لِأَمْرِ اللَّهِ،‏ أَيْنَ الَّذِينَ‏ «خَلَطُوا عَمَلاً صالِحاً وَ آخَرَ سَيِّئاًAt-Tawba/ 120 ''
''أَيْنَ‏ أَصْحابُ الْأَعْرافِ‏ أَيْنَ‏ الْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ''
A devout person considers standing against tyrant persons as his or her religious obligations and supports tyrannized persons in the world within rules of the Islamic system. Such a support is the main indicator of collaboration with tyrannized persons and religious obligation of each Muslim.
Islam does not confirm that Muslims observe tyrannies imposed on tyrannized nations and in a lot of cases, it orders to support and assist such nations. A narration that has been narrated from the prophet determines duty of Muslims in relation to tyrannized persons;
''وَ مَنْ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يُنَادِي‏ يا لَلْمُسْلِمين فَلَمْ يُجِبْهُ فَلَيسَ بِمُسْلِمْ''
Imam Ali states to Imam Hassan and Imam Hussein in his wills
''كُونَا لِلظَّالِمِ خَصْماً وَ لِلْمَظْلُومِ عَوْناً''
The great leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, stated clearly in the first year of the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution '' we support all of the movements for freedom throughout the world that fight in the path of God, reality and freedom … we are Muslims and the east and the west do not matter for us. We defend tyrannized persons and stand against tyrant persons; this is an Islamic duty''.
As it was mentioned, kind, amount and way of support of tyrannized persons in the world is different for mentally tyrannized persons and righteous tyrannized persons and each one will be explained as an indicator of support of tyrannized persons.

a. Enlightenment and revelation

The first duty of each devout person is enlightenment and revelation of conspiracies of universal tyranny and tyrannies imposed on tyrannized persons in the society and out of the society. Such devout persons can follow such a way for support of tyrannized persons in the world. One of examples of enlightenment and revelation is to take part in demonstrations related to conviction of universal tyranny in order to support tyrannized persons.

b. Guidance and leading

One of ways of improvement and support of tyrannized persons is to guide them with using existing experiences in order to prevent from thinking deviations, discord among them and dominance of foreigners and opportunist persons. Imam Ali states
''مَنْ قَوَّي مِسْكِيناً فِي دِينِهِ ضَعِيفاً فِي مَعْرِفَتِهِ عَلَي نَاصِبٍ مُخَالِفٍ فَأَفْحَمَهُ لَقَّنَهُ اللَّهُيوْمَ يُدْلَي فِي قَبْرِهِ أَنْ يَقُولَ اللَّهُ رَبِّي وَ مُحَمَّد نَبِيي وَ عَلِي وَلِيي وَ الْكَعْبَةُ قِبْلَتِي وَ الْقُرْآنُ بَهْجَتِي وَ عُدَّتِي وَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَانِي وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتُ أَخَوَاتِي فَيقُولُ اللَّهُأَدْلَيتَ بِالْحُجَّةِ فَوَجَبَتْ لَكَ أَعَالِي دَرَجَاتِ الْجَنَّةِ فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ يتَحَوَّلُ عَلَيهِ قَبْرُهُ أَنْزَهَ رِياضِ الْجَنَّةِ ''

c. Financial support of tyrannized persons

The prophet was asked about
''مَنْ يسْتَحِقُّ الزَّكَاةَ فَقَالَ الْمُسْتَضْعَفُونَ مِنْ شِيعَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ تَقْوَ بَصَائِرُهُمْ فَأَمَّا مَنْ قَوِيتْ بَصِيرَتُهُ وَ حَسُنَتْ بِالْوَلَايةِ لِأَوْلِيائِهِ وَ الْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ أَعْدَائِهِ مَعْرِفَتُهُ فَذَلِكَ أَخُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ أَمَسُّ بِكُمْ رَحِماً مِنَ الْآبَاءِ وَ الْأُمَّهَاتِ''

d. Defense of tyrannized persons

Tyrannized persons are important in Islam as much as it orders Muslims to fight in order to save them if there are no ways out and admonishes Muslims and believers for laxity in this affair and states
''وَ ما لَكُمْ لا تُقاتِلُونَ في‏ سَبيلِ اللهِ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفينَ مِنَ الرِّجالِ وَالنِّساءِ وَالْوِلْدانِ الَّذينَ يقُولُونَ رَبَّنا اخْرِجْنا مِنْ هذِهِ الْقَرْيةِ الظَّالِمِ اهْلُها وَ اجْعَلْ لَنا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ وَلِياً وَاجْعَلْ لَنا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ نَصيراً''
Khamenei states in explanation of purposes of Islamic Jihad
''Matter of war is basic and fundamental in Islam. In fact, War of Islamic government is not expanding realm, but Islamic government fights for two purposes: first, it fights to defend reputation of Islam and governorship of Quran and second, Islam and realities of Quran shine over all tyrannized nations like the sun whose light spreads anywhere. If tyrant persons and imperialists want prevent from promotion of Islam, Islam will remove barriers strongly. For two mentioned purposes, Islam will cross sword for spirituality and defends its reality''.
Confrontation with enemy
There is no question that recognition of enemy is the most pivotal matters in the topic of eradicating threats and defending a nation. In fact, there were nations throughout the world that suffered from a destructive fate due to neglect from enemies and lack of awareness and necessary political and social prudence in recognition of conspiracies of foreigners and lack of applying prompt and appropriate standing by elites and specialists.
Imam Ali (peace be upon him) states
''مَنْ نَامَ عَنْ عَدُوِّهِ أَنْبَهَتْهُ الْمَكَايِدُ''
He also states
''وَ إِنَّ أَخَا الْحَرْبِ الْأَرِقُ وَ مَنْ نَامَ لَمْ يُنَمْ عَنْه''
These remarks represent that we should be alert to enemies and constantly should be ready to confront with enemies.
Khamenei states '' foes should be recognized and it is considered as the most important affairs. In addition, recognition of enemies should be recognized properly; some persons neglect real and main enemies and consider minor things as enemies; this is a great mistake''.
This component has two basic indictors: recognition of enemy and standing against enemies.

Indicators

1. Recognition of enemy

In Islamic lifestyle, the first step is to recognize enemies. If persons do not know their enemies, they cannot definitely recognize their tools and purposes. Therefore, failure is definite.
A radical devout person is alert against enemies. The prophet states about necessity of recognition of enemy.
''أَلَا وَ إِنَّ أَعْقَلَ النَّاسِ عَبْدٌ عَرَفَ رَبَّهُ فَأَطَاعَهُ وَ عَرَفَ عَدُوَّهُ فَعَصَاه''
Imam Khomeini states '' you should recognize your enemies. If you do not know them, you cannot dispel them''.
Khamenei states '' recognize enemies, rest of the lines of enemy in the country, strategies of enemies, their changed ways in the country, university, high school, society, in activity of the country, media and advertising and existence of tyranny''.
He also considers recognition of enemy as the basic second pillar of Hajj and states '' recognition of enemy and their strategies is the second pillar. First, existence of spiteful enemy should not be forgotten and several ceremonies of Rami Jamarat in Hajj are symbolic sign of this usual mind presence. Secondly, we should not go wrong about recognition of main enemy that is same deploy of universal tyranny and criminal channel of Zionism.

a. Differentiating between true deploy and false deploy

The most important difference of a radical devout person with others is to recognize a true deploy from false deploy because false side is the campaign of foes and he or she can not recognize this important matter.
Khamenie states about necessity of recognition of deploys and distinguishing them from each other '' what should always be paid attention in Islamic system is to determine deploys and true deploy should not mixed with false deploy''.
He also states '' if enemies are not recognized and their features and attributes are not introduced to the society, they will be shown as a true deploy and will impose the greatest damages''.

b. Recognition of purposes and tools of enemies

The most important point in recognition of enemy is to recognize their purposes and tools. Combining true deploy and false deploy, enemies want to hide their ominous purposes. Therefore, if inner forces do not try enough to recognize purposes of enemy, they will behave according to enemy's desire. Hence, elevated leader of Islamic Revolution states '' At the present time, a clergyman and each obliged force should use this possibility in the best way, should get familiar with new thoughts, should introduce ways and strategies of enemies and should be alert to events in their era like war front;
''العالِمُ بِزَمانِهِ لاتَهْجُمْ عَليِهِ اللَّوابِسُ''
''Imam Khomeini mentions purposes of enemy in confrontation with revolution they want to eradicate Islamic system, to remove Islam supporters , to prevent from thinking growth , to establish corruption , to fall power of clergymen and to cause disappointment and discord among most of people in the society''.
Khamenei that is righteous successor of Imam Khomeini states '' main purpose of enemies, whether alien enemies or hypocritical enemies in the country, is to negate religious government and government of Islam. As a matter of fact, they want such a thing and do not want something else''.
Enemies use specific tools and ways in order to achieve their purposes. Khamenei states about tools and ways of enemies in the west '' ways of these enemies that include causing discord among Muslims, promoting moral and political pollution, threatening and enticing elites, causing economic pressure over nations and causing hesitation in Islamic beliefs should be recognized and their known and unknown relatives should be recognized through a way.
Their other tricks include boycotting, resolutions, insulting, providing conditions against Islamic system, improvement of inner opponents and doping them.

c. Recognition of tactics of enemy

One of affairs that is necessary in recognition of enemy is recognition of tactics of enemy and constant observation over them because enemies follow a specific kind of practical tactics in every time according to circumstances that need required reaction and confrontation.
It can be understood from the statements of Imam Ali that there are two kinds of enemies and two kinds of reaction and confrontation with enemies are required:
1. Known animosity; 2. Hidden animosity
From point of view of Imam Ali, the least dangerous enemy reveals their animosity;
''أَوْهَنُ الْأَعْدَاءِ كَيْداً مَنْ أَظْهَرَ عَدَاوَتَه ''
He also states that the most dangerous enemy hides their animosity as Quran names such enemies '' hypocrites ''. Imam Ali states about this matter
''شَرُّ الْأَعْدَاءِ أَبْعَدُهُمْ غَوْراً وَ أَخْفَاهُمْ مَكِيدَةً''
There is no question that Muslims and religion of Islam have been more damaged by hidden enemies rather than known enemies since advent of Islam and they have had disagreement and discord because persons expect animosity and confrontation from known enemies, but they do not expect invasion and damages from enemies that seem to be friends and to be loyal to Islamic values.
Khamenei states about tactics and tricks of enemies '' they did different kinds of tricks and produced a lot of films against Islam, revolution and Islamic and Shiite foundations that were useful in creation of the revolution, at the present time, computer and Internet, and they did whatever they would like so that they could eradicate this new idea and political power in the country should be left to pious and fair persons and conditions of this political authority include piety and fairness. Such a new idea is something that shocks each authority in the world and scares each government that has material use from authority. Hence, people all over the world disagree with this idea''.

d. Recognition of ways of confrontation with enemies

After purposes, tools and tactics of enemies are known, the most important point is recognition of different ways in confrontation with enemies. A radical devout observes activities of enemies alertly and selects the best way for confronting with them. Since enemies fight against Islam in hard and soft fronts, definitely ways of confronting with hard and military war will be different from ways of confrontation with soft war.
Considering such differences, Quran presents ways for confronting with conspiracies of enemies. Improvement of prudence, patience and piety are appropriate defensive weapons for confronting with eradication of the religion, expansion of corruption and establishment of deviation among Muslims. Moreover, unity of Muslims and cultural war with the trains of Quran are considered as the best weapons against discord and deviation caused by enemies and their preaching. One of guidelines of Quran in this area is to prevent Muslims from friendship with believers.
To confront with hard war, Quran recommends to be equipped with modern weapons and to be prepared for military attack with enemies.
