Wild expansion and attacks of the State of Israel comes from the same brutal offensive political Zionism. Since 1937, Ben Gurion has raised Israel's borders based on biblical references. In his opinion, Israel should encompass five areas. Southern Lebanon up to the Litani River (that Ben Gurion called it "the northern part of Western Israel"), South Syria and beyond Jordan (what is now called "Jordan"), and Palestine and Sinai. They even recognize "Homs" in Syria the same as the city of "Hama" that in Numbers chapter (chapter 34 verses 1 and 2, 8) distinguishes northern border of Canaan, and some others even know the city in Turkey. Basically, the idea of a preventive war, where the idea of expansion is achieved, is the logic of the Zionist regime.
Menakhyn Begin declares on 12 October 1955: "I am deeply convinced that we should have a preventive war against Arab states without a moment of hesitation. In this way, we will achieve two objectives: first, the Arabs' power destruction and then expansion of the boundaries of our own. "
However, for the occupation of Palestine, the Jews of the world had established several financial institutions. Herzl tried to capture the attention of Ottoman Sultan (Hamid II) by payment of multi-million gold coin and tried to seduce him to surrender Palestine to the Jews. But because Sultan Abdul Hamid had rejected the proposal and stressed that Palestine belongs to the Muslims, and even with the money of all the Jews he will not sell it to them, the Jews eventually overthrew his government in 1908. Herzl went to Germany, Italy and Russia to help the Jews in occupied Palestine, but they refused to do it because Palestine was a land with people, although it was under the rule of the Ottoman Empire. After this, Herzl came to the main patrons and promoters of Zionist idea, namely Great Britain, and they promised assistance as well.
Following the First World War (1914), Great Britain issued a statement in the form of a letter from Balfour with the agreement of France, the US and other Western countries, the British foreign minister, to Lord Rochild, a wealthy British Jew, in second November 1917. According to the letter, which was later called "Balfour Declaration", Balfour promised the Jews to form a national homeland in Palestine.
The Balfour Declaration explicitly states: "The British Imperial government has a special favor to form the Jewish National Homeland in Palestine, and in the near future, it will do utmost diligence and facilitating the means to achieve this goal."
Along with the defeat of Turkey in 1918 and the occupation of Palestine by Great Britain, these countries have tried to prepare fields to establish a Jewish state in Palestine, and in this regard, the League of Nations agreed to Great Britain Mandate over Palestine in order to establish a Jewish state in Palestine. Great Britain also sent a Jewish representative named Herbert Samuel to Palestine in the 1920 to provided fields for World's Jewish migration to Palestine. Parallel to this action, colonial Britain started hardware and training the Jewish military, and gave them large areas of public lands to build settlements. With the help of British, Jews seized Palestinian land or bought them. England gave fifty thousand hectares of land in Palestine, which were in the hands of the government, to the Jews.
Despite all these efforts and advertising and measures taken after the Balfour Declaration for the return of the Jews, only 11% of the Palestinian population was made up Jews until 1922, (according to British census on December 31, 1922) and 89% the rest were the Arabs and Christians.
Zionist leaders, who observed empowering of US after World War II, became close to the country. England said that according to the United Nations, it will evacuate Palestine on May 15, 1948, to be replaced by the United Nations. Then exit of the old colonial happened that in 1947 Great Britain and the United States could issue partition of Palestine resolution through the United Nations. Under this unjust resolution, the occupation of Palestine was divided between the Palestinian residents and Jews, whose number did not go beyond 15% of the population of Palestinians and only had 7% of the Palestinian land, which was mostly granted to them by the occupying English. Of course, Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims opposed the partition of Palestine and continued their jihad and fight. In any case, on 14 05 1948 the British army left Palestine after transferring military centers and weapons to the Zionist gangs and maintenance of some commanders in the service of the Jews. Ben Gurion, leader of the Zionist gangs, along with the British withdrawal from Palestine and the abuse of this situation, announced the establishment of "Israel" in the occupied territories in 1948. Several minutes later, the US government recognized Israel, followed by the Soviet Union and European countries one after the other, and as a result, the United Nations recognized the usurper government as well.
Zionist occupying government to stabilize its position, following the establishment of the government, started a brutal attack in Arab areas, for example, in Deir yassin, they beheaded 250 innocent people, women, children and old men and displaced tens of thousands people. To intimidate Palestinian residents and persuading them to escape, they committed heinous crimes. For example, they took Muslim women without coverage into soldiers' cars and showed them in cities. Because of these inhuman violence acts, more than a million Palestinians became refugees to neighboring countries.
The Palestinians could not bear the brutal acts and began to fight the Zionists. In this battle, the forces of the Arab armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Libya and Sudan as well as the Muslim Brotherhood volunteers participated, but on the one hand, due to weak logistical and military means of the forces and on the other hand , presence of colonial Great Britain and France in most countries in the region and betray of some of the leaders, in addition to the support of Zionist and US and British, these forces were defeated, and this led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians out of Palestine. Following the war, the West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza Strip were still in the hands of the Philistines and stayed away from the Zionist occupiers, but Jerusalem and the West Bank were subject to Jordan, and the Gaza Strip was subject to Egypt.
After the 1948 war, the United States, France and Britain equipped the occupying Zionist state to advanced weapons (nuclear, biological and chemical ones). Despite the frustration, Palestinians did not stop the resistance, and they formed guerrilla groups, and the forces set attacking towns and settlements inside Palestine as their agenda. Of course, in 1956, usurper state of Israel also planned a joint conspiracy of a tripartite comprehensive aggression against Egypt for greater security and implementing their expansionism operations along with Britain and France, and they occupied the Gaza Strip and part of the Sinai, but due Palestinian resistance and international pressure, they were forced to be out of the area.
Palestinian Intifada
From the beginning, Palestinian people stood in front of the trusteeship of Great Britain and the Zionist gangs and to defend and protect ground and sacred belongings formed jihadist groups and have been launched general protests and strikes. For example, we can name uprisings in 1920, 1923 and 1929, which are known as the "Glowing revolution". Sheikh Izz al-Din al-Qassam fought the British and the Zionists by formation of Islamic Jihad groups, and finally, in 1935, he was killed. Following the testimony of Izz ad-Din al-Qassam, the Palestinians rose by unitybe their leader Haj Amin Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, and Hassan Salameh, Abdul Rahim Alhaj Mohammad and Abdul Rahim Mahmoud and some other disciples of Sheikh Izz ad-Din al-Qassam, imposed several military operations against the British and the Zionists.
In 1987, uprising and unified struggle of the Palestinian people in the occupied territories found a new dimension. The main core of the uprising, which was called the "intifada", was created from mosques. As noted, the popular uprising and resurrection came into existence since existence of Israel in the Palestine, but the intifada, which was formed in the occupied territories using the lowest and simplest form of weapons that were throwing rocks at soldiers, suggest that Palestinian people are desperate from Arabic governments and compromising groups such as "PLO"'s diplomatic measures and they should take measures for their own emancipation. One of the features of the intifada was being Islamic. Islamic tendencies, which emerged in the occupied territories in the 80s, are trends that believe in political Islam.
Two major groups of Intifada fighters are: 1. Islamic Jihad movement; 2. Hamas.
1. Islamic Jihad Movement
This movement, which is a branch of "Muslim Brotherhood" which is formed and led by Dr. Fathi Shaghaghi in 1980, is of the active groups in the struggle of the Palestinian people against usurper Israel. The cause of the split of "Islamic Jihad Movement" from "Muslim Brotherhood" was that Muslim Brotherhood relying on manpower training and paid less time for practical struggle, but Islamic Jihad had paid more attention to practical aspects. The formation of the Movement is of the Islamic Revolution's reflection in Palestine which follows the principles of Jihad, martyrdom and sacrifice for the purpose. Islamic Jihad believes in armed struggle inside Palestine and played an important role in the launching of the intifada, and it is considered as the leaders of it.
In fact, the Islamic Jihad movement was an answer to two governing sides in Palestine: one was "PLO" which fought regardless of Islam and the other one was "Muslim Brotherhood", which had model of Islamic politics without a fight. But the ideology of Islamic Jihad is result of the merging of Islamism and nationalism.
2. Hamas
Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) is the Palestinian resistance movement which is distinguished from other organizations by having Islamic background and following Islam school as a way of victory and the liberation of Palestine and the efforts to create unity and integrity, liberation of Palestine and the establishment of Islamic rule in Palestine. The term "Hamas" is an acronym and is derived from the first letters of "motion", "resistance" and "Islam" and its meaning is strength, courage, determination. The movement officially announced its existence in the date14 /12/1987.
Hamas is the Muslim Brotherhood, but it is in a new phase of its evolution which is the stage of action. The Muslim Brotherhood, which until then believed in formation of structure and training human resources, according to the leader of Hamas, the organization has come into action taking. With the formation of Hamas a new phase was created for the Muslim Brotherhood; in fact, Hamas is the military wing of the Muslim Brotherhood. Spiritual leadership of Hamas is done by Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. Peak and expansion of the two movements (Hamas and Islamic Jihad) is related to the spread of Islamic Awakening in general which has across engulfed the Arab world and the Islamic world. The Islamic movement is inspired by Iran's Islamic Revolution and it is influenced by Imam Khomeini's attitude who is its founder. Imam had a great sense in finding and recognition of enemies. Based on the teachings of his religion, which were also his political campaign experiences, he believed that our religious enemies, including the US, Britain and usurper Israel are like dogs that if we take a step backward, they would not only withdraw and take one step back, but they would come ten steps ahead.
