Of very important issues in the case of Zionists is its leaders' cordial relations and close cooperation in general and specifically Zionist regime's relations with Baha'ism.
The land, which Zionism has grabbed more than half a century, was the qiblah of Baha'is for a long time, and moreover, for many years, centrality of the Baha'i world (House of Justice) is located in that country. Hence, this rapprochement is not devoted to today or yesterday, and it was established since the establishment of Israel. If we look at the issue with investigation and more depth, we can trace footsteps of this relationship with the Jewish Agency and World Zionist leaders in the decades before the establishment of the Zionist regime.
After the collapse and disintegration of the Ottoman Empire, Palestine was under the tutelage of Great Britain so that Churchill (British Colonial Secretary who calls him "an established minister") provides arrangements to established Israeli government as an aid to create a "National Association of Jews" in Palestine. During the mandate period also the facility of Baha'ism in Palestine had special privileges. According to Shoghi Effendi, in those days, "a branch was established in Palestine in the name of the Baha'i endowments, and everything in the holy name of the Baha'i that came to the Holy Land from around the world was exempt from paying duty, and also the Baha'i endowments were exempted from paying tax."
It was evident that colonial Great Britain does not grant these privileges to Baha'is for free. Naturally, the Baha'i leaders had done remarkable service to the UK and Zionism to deserve all given special attention. To further understanding of these services we have to go a little back:
Herzl, founder of Zionism, strives to convince Sultan Abdul Hamid to establish a Zionist colonists in Palestine, which he opposes, and he even refused to accept the Zionist delegation headed by the "Mizrahi Qasu", who is going to the Sublime Porte for this purpose (along with attractive offers and enticing); he also compelled the Jews to carry red licenses instead of regular licenses to prevent their smuggling arrival settlement in Palestine." finally, because of the opposition that according to Salah Zewail (former Palestinian ambassador in Tehran), Sultan Abdul Hamid lost his power and kingdom at the expense of this stance toward the Palestinians". years after that, at the end of World war I, the Ottoman defeat, the context of Zionism's penetration in Palestine was provided, and therefore at the end of the war (1917 ) James Balfour, Secretary of State of London, gives Great Britain's assistance to the establishment of the National Association of Jews in Palestine to Zionist (Rothschild's famous Balfour declaration).
At the same time, the commander of the Ottoman forces, who is aware of Great Britain and Zionism's plans about Palestine, and sees Abbas Effendi and his companions in the Levant and Iraq and other places as a help to the army of Great Britain, decided to kill him and destroy Baha'i centers in Haifa and Acre, since he realized the role of the cult and its leaders' conspiracies. Shoghi Effendi, Baha'is' leader, clearly points out in this field in the book "new century": Jamal Pasha (commander of forces of ottoman) decided to execute Abbas Effendi due to espionage crime.
The British government also rises to support the leader of the Baha'is' chief, and in a telegram, Lord Balfour commands General Allenby, commander of army of Great Britain, (in the war against Jamal Pasha in the Palestinian region) to try to defend and protect Baha and his family and friends, and to complete these actions the Empire Great Britain, by the General Allenby, conferred Abbas Effendi as the "Sir" and grants him sign of knighthood.
Later, Abbas Effendi died and was buried in Haifa. By spread of news of his death, Britain's embassies and consulates in the Middle East expressed sympathy, and Churchill (British Colonial Secretary) issued a telegram to Sir Herbert Samuel (prominent Zionist and the British High Commissioner in Palestine) and asked him to deliver the sympathy and condolences of the British Government to the family of Abbas Effendi.
Samuel was present in the funeral of Baha with his aides and moves prior to all participants.
The establishment of Israel and common interests of "Baha-Zion"
The establishment of the Zionist regime occurred in 1948 during the life of Shoghi Effendi. Before then, in 1947, the United Nations made a committee to address the Palestinian issue. on 14 July 1947, Shoghi emphasized interesting topics of common interests of Baha'is in a letter to the chairman of the Committee and compared the benefits of the Baha'ism with Jews in Palestine and Muslims and Christians and concluded that: " only Jews are the ones that their interest in Palestinian is somewhat comparable to the interest of the Baha'is in this country because the remains of the holy temple are in Jerusalem and in ancient history, that city has been the center of their religious and political institutions ... "
In 14 May 1948, Britain ended Palestine's mandate, and at the same day, the Jewish National Council was formed in Tel Aviv and proclaimed the establishment of the State of Israel. Then, Shoghi Effendi in the message of New Year 108 (1130 p) exquisite his positive comments on the establishment of Israel.
also in a telegraph related to the formation of the International Baha'i committee (next House of Justice) dated January 9, 1951 (1329 p) he considered the establishment of Israel as the fulfillment of prophecy of Hossein Ali Baha and Abbas Effendi, and then, made direct connections between the creation of Israel and the establishment of the committee and stated three reasons for the establishment of the board that the establishment of Israel was at the top.
This is very strange and interesting, because what relationship is there between the institution that is supposed to be as the House of Justice to be charge of leadership of Bahi's and establishing a fake and illegitimate regime? Shoghi counts three tasks for the Board that on the top is: building relationships with leaders of the Israeli government and the third duty is "entry in negotiations with the authorities of country issues in relation to matters of personal status". Elsewhere, he knows "strength of relations with the new government [[Israel] in the land "as the Baha'i International Board's tasks.
Thus, Shoghi Effendi as "the initiator of an intimate relationship with Israel after the establishment of the regime establishes relationships with it that its common point is the mutual support and trust because he knows establishment of Israel as 'true promise of God and heirs of Jewish, in appearance and deep inside".
The Baha'i International board (embryonic of Universal House of Justice) in a letter to the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Iran in July first 1952 admits Shoghi's intimate relationship with the Zionist occupation government: "relations between the government of Israel with Prophet of Allah [= Shoghi Effendi] and the Baha'i International Board is friendly and sincerely it is truly very pleased that there has been some progress in identifying the issue [= the Baha'ism] in the Holy Land [= Palestine]."
But hear from Ben-Gurion (Israel's Prime Minister and head of Extremist factions and so-called "hawks" of the country).
Ben-Gurion sees the intimacy between the Israelis and the total Baha'is widespread. In the official publication of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Iran, we can read: "with the utmost pride and joy, we inform the Baha'is to the expansion of the Baha'is' relations with the authorities of Israeli government, and they expressed Baha'is sincere feelings for the government's progress in meetings with Israeli Prime Minister, Ben-Gurion, and he said in answer: since the beginning of the establishment of Israel, the Baha'is have always had cordial relations with the Israeli government."
In this regard has provided special accommodations for misguided hypothesis Israel that Shoghi said a part of it in the message of April 1954. For example, the Israeli government recognized branches of the National Spiritual Assemblies of the Baha'is in some countries (such as Britain and Iran and Canada) in the occupied Palestinian territory to have the possibility of independent action. He then made statements that indicated that perhaps Israel may not have done such endeavor for any other group and this magnitude of the Baha'i has worth and importance for them "contact was made with the Israeli president and prime minister and five people of cabinet ministers as well as parliament's chief and as a result a particular office named Bahá'í administration was established in the Ministry of religions, and religions Minister claimed official statements in parliament and clarified the international character of the issue and the importance of the Bahá'í World Centre, and due to these events, Israeli President officially decided to meet the Most High on early holy Ramadan."
Gradually, the results of political meetings showed its visible aspects. After mentioning supports of English rulers of Palestine for Baha'is, a person close to Shoghi mentioned the Zionists' blessings, and he said: "Now the Israeli government has adopted the same method and a formal mandate has been given for them to be exempted from all dues and taxes."
Of course, the range of support is not limited only this far, but exemption from taxation "later included 'Abdu'l-Bahá's house and East and West lodgings, Baha'i marriage was recognized, Ministry of Religions gave up the farm house and Israel's Ministry of Education, recognized Baha'is' holy days."
The Israeli government wanted the farm palace for other organizations, but with Shoghi's struggles and his straight meeting with the Heads of State of Israel, it was devoted to the cult.
in strengthening Baha'i faith, of course, the leaders of the Zionist regime also played a role, such as Professor Norman New wich, political and legal figure of Israel state and former prosecutor of the Palestinian Authority, recognized Baha'i among the three Abrahamic religions (Islam, Christianity and Judaism).
In the last 30 years, the Baha'is and the Zionist regime have continued their relationships and they have given more depth and breadth to them than in the past that discussion about it needs another chance.
Mentioned evidence clearly and in an unquestionable way depict deep and broad relationship between the Baha'i faith and Zionism, especially the occupying regime of Palestine.
In response to the question to link of the sect with Israel, it is strange that the Baha'is in sites and media related to them claim with boldness that there was no relationship between the cult and Zionism and the Israeli occupation of Palestine and focus of Baha'i Universal House of Justice phenomenon is purely coincidental! And it is not related to the common interests of both parties!
The evidence is a closure for the ordinary people of the Baha'i faith who are play the role of infantry, bumper embankment and cannon fodder for leaders. They need to know that their leaders have dependence and deep continuity with the usurper Zionists? And they should ask their organizations to give convincing explanations about all advocates for these criminal soldiers.
Given the broad and sincere relationships and shared trust between Zionism and the Baha'ism, it is natural that the Islamic world and the freemen of the world look at the presence of this organization among themselves with some skepticism and deal with them by abandoning them they, and mutually, it is obvious that when the Baha'i faith ties his forelock strongly to Zionism hair, it cannot claim that the establishment of the centrality of this organization in Israel is solely for existence of leaders' graves in occupied Palestine, and it is because Israel is chosen as the qiblah of the people of Baha.
Despite this deep connection, it is clear that Baha'is should participate and be partners in costs which Israel and the World Zionist pay (against revolutionary surge of oppressed and underprivileged people of the world).
