Science – fiction cinema in the 1960s in Hollywood

Science – fiction cinema was boomed in the 1960s. Such movies that were made since the beginning of cinema, because of low costs and cheap cinematic arrangements until the 1980s have always been a secondary videos or movies known as (b) and producers wished to produce them.

The main themes of scientific - fiction films were the end of the world and atomic bomb disaster. A picture of the future in a story and compelling format is form of the West methods, especially America's tactics. Using the elements of imagination and excitement and surprises, they try to convince viewers that the future will be in a way that they draw.
It has always been said in all the literature or visual science fiction works that science and technology achieve such astonishing breakthroughs in the future that can dominate everything. In this way conflict and fighting human is a solved problem. They have always said that white Western man will fight and get involved with natural events and machines that has made. Lots of advertising about World War in the future and the threat of nuclear bombing and population explosion and the tragedy of hunger and environmental pollution and epidemics and deadly illnesses, and in fact, they are merely to scare the human and the imposition of planned remedies and tightening the bonds of slavery and captivity. One of the discussions of the process of building a new world in culture of science - fiction writers is that we must first get rid of the old world and created a new world then. In this film, which was made about two decades before the 1960s, collapse of society and the results of it are defined. The boss is killed due to high use of peaceful gas and another person takes his place who is representing the scientists and he will be introduced as another dictator.
In "The Five" (1951 m.) directed by "Ark Uboler" a nuclear bomb in the coming years will lead the world to destruction. Only 5 of the inhabitants of the planet have survived and all the creatures of the world have been burned and destroyed, but we see that even this small human society can no longer be sustained for the sake of their survival. There is mistrust, prejudice, jealousy, and other ugly cases among these people. At the end of the story only one man and a woman live alone. The film at the time analyzes effect of psychological distress caused by environmental degradation due to a nuclear disaster and creating new life from the psychological aspects and Lee also wants to say that the use of different countries in the production of nuclear weapons will cause such atrocities.
In the film "when the worlds have accident with each other" made by "Rudolph Mate" in 1951, which is adapted from a fiction - fiction novel in the same name written by "Philip Wylie" and "Edwin Balmer", we see that astronomers of different countries discover suspect and mysterious movements in the stars in the sky. So a young pilot is commissioned to carry a number of photos taken from a base in South Africa to the center of astronomy in America. During the flight he realizes that a wandering planet will hit the Earth and destroy it. The only hope for human beings is that a group of scientists can land in a satellite related to the planet which is safe and has environment like to Earth.
Choosing the staff and preparing the especial aircraft takes much of the time in the film. Here, segregation, white Commander of West, leadership of American hero strongly dominate the film, while almost half of the representatives of different countries and races are among the passengers. The aircraft is actually like Noah's Ark and one pair is selected of any living thing to be traveling with it. However, all must accept that they are under the leadership of an American commander.
Another famous film was made in 1951and directed by "Robert Wise" which is now considered one of the most classics in science - fiction cinema. The film is titled "The Day the Earth Stood Still" has a great reputation because of its message of peace and anti-nuclear testing. Based on the story of the film, a planet Federation sends a representative with a huge robot to Earth to warn people of their destructive nuclear tests. An American starts to panic and shoots the representative. Robot kills a number of soldiers, but representative of the Federation prevents him from destroying the earth. Representative, who was wounded, fled the military hospital and takes refuge in a rented house belonging to a woman. That is where he gradually realizes that not all people are bad on the Earth. However, since he cannot communicate with the earth states, he proves his power to them by stopping the rotation of the Earth. The hero of the story is a superior clever alien. His is missioned to invite the people of Earth to political morality and peaceful co-existence. He has tremendous power as well, for example he can stop electrical power on Earth, but his basic message is for politicians to avoid nuclear conflict and not cause destruction of people and the planet, not even at a scene of the film it refers to consultation with the elders and an American white-haired man is showed here and he is epitome of thought and tact.
Movie "attack to the United States of America" made by "Alfred. E. Green "in 1952, is one of those films that like movie "the five" is about survivors of an atomic disaster. The movie is political and purposeful beginning by the story of dialogue about Cold War between people from different races. They continue talking to the point that what shall America do if Soviet Union is supposed to make an atomic attack to the U.S.A.
Each of them has plans and ideas and decide to move together and be united but Soviet spies understand everything and make conspiracy to kill them.
Each of the individuals are at risk during the incident, and some of them are killed, but later it becomes apparent that all of this was due to the influence of hypnosis and not attack will take place, but the united people try to be prepared for any war in the future. They prepare themselves and get ready for a battle with the enemy by operating arms factories, collecting the resources and referring to blood transfusion centers. The film clearly wants to show horrors of probable nuclear attack of Soviet on America. Of course the main goal is to have a license for increasing military budgets, enhancing army power and storing the arms and weapons and above all the preparation of using nuclear bomb for American state, while in the years, Soviet never thought about the idea of nuclear attack on the United States.
In another film called "female captives" (1952 m.) that happens in New York City in 3000, we will see the atomic tragedy has altered the shape of living things and has turned them into monsters monstrous and they attack young women girls. The film is in fact considered as an exciting entertainment for the youth and its comedy genre shows it shallow and unserious.
