Elements forming Islamic Revolution

The Islamic republic of Iran from perspective of supreme leader
In the fourth part of the paper we examined reasons and factors of victory of Islamic republic of Iran from perspective of supreme leader. In the last part, we will discuss other elements and factors in the historical event.
1. The presence and participation of the people
Supreme leader of revolution knows participation of the people in the revolution and moving behind the imam and following his teachings as the main reason for the success of Islamic Revolution. He knows the root of the partnership and the people participation and moving behind the religious leaders due to religious beliefs and Islamic emotions and he said: "If the revolution was not based on religious beliefs and Islamic faith, it could not win. It was the faith of everybody that would create the movement and continued it. "
Ayatollah Khamenei believes that enemy's awareness of this issue and religious functions led enmities and advertising of enemies of the revolution directed at people's faith and created doubt and weakness in it.
He introduced participation and presence of people due to their faith as reason of divine victory and Revolution and describes the relationship between divine victory and faith of people with each other as follows: "Of course, those two factors are not within the width of each other but they are in length of each other; it means if our support was God and help of God, the hearts of the people will understand the Lord as well".
2. Initiation and the presence of religious scholars and clergymen in the revolution
Supreme Leader knows the pioneer and alert presence of the clergymen in the Islamic Revolution as one of the most important determining factors in victory and says: 'If Clergymen of our country were not involved and the flag of the revolution was not on their shower, the victory would not have achieved".
He explained the historical role of the clergymen in the revolution and the victory and he states:
"Clerical is the key element in the struggles in the last fifteen years of the revolution and then it has been the main factor of preserving Islamic education concepts and sincere faith of Iranian nation to enlivening school of Islam and growth of religious thoughts in everywhere and it was a main factor in establishment of Islamic holy system and raising the banner of Islam in the world and the passionate resistance of Iranian nation against invasions of various enemies."
3. People going to the mosques
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution knows one of the causes of victory of Islamic Revolution as people going to the mosques which led to their enlightenment and awareness and could mobilize them in direction of the goals of the revolution. In this regard, he said: "One of the reasons for the victory of the happy Islamic Revolution in Iran (or at least easing the victory) was people going to mosques. Youth filled the mosques and scholars used the mosques as center for teaching, training, enlightenment minds and the mosque became a center for action, consciousness, movement and revealing the secrets of the corrupted rulers of Pahlavi Regime. "
4. Spirituality, piety and relationship with God
One of the most important causes of the victory of Islamic Revolution in Ayatollah Khamenei's remarks was spirituality, piety, communion with God and duty between the revolutionaries, especially in the leadership of the revolution. Supreme Leader says in the field: "If Imam did not have the main factors of spirituality, relationship with God, working for the sake of God, piety and performing the task neither the revolution achieved victory nor you people would have fallen in love with it, and it could not make this Storm in the world and was not able to stand like a mountain in front of the enemy. "
5. Sincerity
Divine intentions and work to God and being away from materialist desires and passion among the faithful and revolutionaries and in particular in leadership of Islamic Revolution are of the most important factors for the victory of the revolution. Ayatollah Khamenei said in this regard:
"If he [Imam] did not have the pure intentions, the revolution would not have achieve to this point, and if the Muslims and pious and Imam-lovers and disciples of Supreme Leader did not remember God in their works and had individual and group intentions and materialist desires and purposes, the revolution would not have reached this point. "
6. Loving Imam Hussein (Peace be upon him) and pursuant to Ashura
Bloody epic uprising of Imam Hussein (Peace be upon him) against tyranny and oppression and inspiring teachings of the divine uprising and man-made and clever and wise use of Imam Form the uprising and mourning for that Imam in the months of Muharram and Safar played decisive and undeniable role in Islamic revolution's victory.
Supreme Leader stated in a concise and eloquent expression in this regard: "Today, thanks to the movement and preserving the culture and spirit of the movement, we have created the system in our society. If love for Imam Hussein (AS) and his memory and the catastrophes and the events of Ashura was not popular in our society, it was not clear that the movement could have reached to this quality at this time and win."
7. Unity
Founder and architect of the Great Islamic Revolution has mentioned the unity of word and the unity of the nation as a key for victory of revolution and he has attracted the attention of all people to the factor and avoiding any action that would cause damage in the unity of people, between people and officials and authorities with each other during his glorious life and during meetings and on several occasions and, more particularly, in his political will.
Supreme Leader of revolution pointed to the remarkable point of will of Imam Khomeini and he confirmed the impact of this factor in the victory of revolution and he stated: "there is a sentence in will of our beloved Imam that we should never forget it. He said: the factor that led to the victory of the revolution will continue the revolution as well. Relying on God and faith of people in Islam and determination to serve God and to do Islamic duties, and the unity of the word is the secret of victory and the continuation of the revolution. "
8. Dedication and sacrifice
Another factor of victory of Islamic Revolution was sacrifice and devotion due to sincere leadership of the movement and people in order to achieve the goals and aspirations of Islam that the sacrifice was out of sincerity and based on the divine traditions and laws governing the universe and could attract aid and mercy of God for victory of Islamic revolution.
Supreme Leader said in explaining the victory: "If you people did not show devotion and sacrifice, God would not have supported you ... When a nation puts itself at the service of God and the divine purposes, God will put all the forces of the universe and nature in the service of the nation, and will bless them."
9. Effort and endeavor
Struggle and effort for sacred purposes of Islamic Revolution was another cause of victory of the Islamic Revolution. The efforts began by Imam, and it was continued by his partners and people. This endeavor was along with sincerity and perseverance, so it was placed in path of laws and traditions of God and God's victory appeared and brought victory for the revolution.
The supreme leader, who had a unique role in the endeavors, says in this regard: "believing and saying prayer and fasting are not enough to succeed. By struggle and effort, a nation can preserve itself, its identity, its honor, its history, its culture and independence and its freedom. "
He elsewhere introduces the Iranian nation's victories as the divine reward to their struggle that were fulfilled within the divine framework.
10. Patience and relying on God
No big goal can be achieved except in the shadow of patience, perseverance, diligence, respect and trust in God and deliverance of pollution and cleanness of sins. Islamic Revolution of Iran is no exception as well. That is why the revolution's Supreme Leader knows one of the causes of Islamic revolution's victory as patience of Imam and people.
In this regard, he said: "Certainly Imam moved with the same spirit and way that God's prophets used to move in. his goal and way was based on the Prophets' ways and goals. They considered factors in their difficult path. First, patience and resistance and second asking help from God and relying on him. These two factors would be necessary and, if they do not exit they will not pass the way. "
Reasons of survival and continuity of the Islamic Revolution in perspective of the Supreme Leader
Supreme Leader like Imam Khomeini knows survival and continuity factors of the revolution as causes of the formation and victory of Islamic Revolution.
He states in this regard: "It is known that the survival of anything is provided by the same factors that funded the object. This idea is true; it means that if, for example we are looking for factors for Islamic Revolution sustainability, we should look and see which factors were vital at the beginning and the creation of the revolution. If we provide those factors in the community, revolution can be continued. A movement that started with a certain factor and power will continue by the same special factor. "
According to this principle, he knows the presence of spiritual theme and the Islamic faith among the people and officials and noticing God, doing God's orders and the resurrection for God as the major cause of survival and continuity of the revolution and he insists: "If the religion spirit exists, these factors will be created universally among all classes of people in a deep way. Therefore, this revolution is not finishing and it would not be finished. If the religious factor does not exist, some moves may appear and some people will do certain specifications, and people will come to power, and some will make compromise with government officials, and some will feel fear, and some will get used to comfortable life, and some may feel disappointed and the matter is over and will disappear! Because there was no name of God, the remembrance of God and the spirit of devotion and sincerity in many movements around the world, and because there was not as a divine and spiritual leader among them like that great man, Imam Khomeini, even normal talents could not flourish to fight with corruption and tyranny and misery of a nation."
