Communication between Israel and the Pahlavi dynasty and developing political, economic, cultural, informational and military cooperation between the two regimes is the attractive and major part of Zionists' activities in Iran, which in turn requires a separate study.
In March 1328, about a year and a half after the announcement of the establishment of Israel, the Imperial Government of Iran recognized the regime as a "de facto".
Regardless of the causes, factors and reason of this action of Pahlavi regime as well as exercising influence and even bribe that the Zionists paid to some Iranian figures and officials, the fact is that Iran's action among the various countries of the Islamic world, particularly in Islamic countries, had numerous negative reflections. In Iran also Muslim people were under the leadership of religious scholars and strongly protested against this decision and reacted. Some lawmakers questioned the parliamentary government and condemned the action. However, the Pahlavi regime besides issuance of declaration recognized the usurper state of Israel officially and chose "Abbas Seiqal" as the official representative and dispatched him to occupied Palestine. It was while before this, "Reza Safinia" sent to Palestine as especial agent of the Imperial Government.
Negative broad reflection of the issue of recognition of Israel within and outside the country, especially the protests of the Muslim people of Iran led by religious scholars, including Ayatollah Kashani, eventually led to issuance of the declaration by the Prime Minister in July 1330, to cut the ties between Iran and Israel. Safinia, sent representative of Iranian state was summoned to Tehran and the General Consulate of Iran down in occupied Palestine. The reality was that the Pahlavi regime did not cancel "de facto" recognition of Israel. Therefore, after the coup of 28 Mordad in 1332, the connection was restored, so that the Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in an interview in August 1339 approved recognizing Israel and announced closing Iranian consulate and recalling diplomatic representatives of the government due to financial problems.
Recognition of Israel regime by Iran as a great Islamic country was a very valuable and important achievement for the Zionists in regional and international arena. On the other hand, it was clearly provable that expanding communication and cooperation the Imperial Government with Israel in various fields not only did not have acceptable achievement for Iran, but it was completely one-sided and in favor of Israel and in the direction of the Zionist regime's strategy. The only result of this cooperation for the Pahlavi court was enjoying support of Jewish and Zionist influential associations and figures in the US and Europe to strengthen the monarchy. In this way, they made Mohammad Reza greedy and pride and grandiosity, so the thought was strengthened in him that by having the support of the Zionist lobby in Europe and the US, the survival and continuity of the Pahlavi dynasty is guaranteed forever.
Recognition of Israel by Iran was not only a move to legitimize the usurper state of Israel and the occupation of Palestine, but it was an attempt to bring out Israel from the political isolation in the region and the Islamic world. In addition, the government's action was a struggle to disrupt the unity of Islamic countries and Muslims in the region against the Zionist occupier and aggressive government.
The cooperation had no benefit to Iran in the field of intelligence relationships, but it made Mossad has influence in all elements of the country. Intelligence cooperation protocol of Iran with Israel and establishing Zionist intelligence bases in the South and West areas in the country and sending hundreds of spies to Islamic and Arab neighboring countries strengthened Israel's position against Muslims. This situation led Israelis to have access to secret news and information about Islamic countries and Muslims in the region and enabled them to examine the military and political position of the countries and when appropriate, they were ready to confront or attack the Arab countries.
intelligence and spying cooperation of MOSSAD and SAVAK under the title of "crystal plan" as well as trilateral intelligence cooperation of Iran, Israel and Turkey titled as "trident " not only made the Muslims of the region pessimistic about Iran and caused disunity among the Muslims, but it provided strategic needs of hated and isolated government of Israel in the field of military and intelligence issues.
Protocol of intelligence cooperation of Pahlavi regime and Israel turned Iran into a safe and unique haven. This military base and information station was not only on track to consolidate and strengthen the position of Israel and its continued existence was appreciable, but it was ensuring invasive strategy of occupier Zionists in Muslim countries.
In the field of economic relations also Israel's needs for the energy, fuel and raw materials were provided by sending required oil of the Zionists and by this excuse millions of dollars of unnecessary items of Israelis, including food productions and weapons were imported to the Iranian market. It means that Israelis met their oil and energy need in this way and they had a guaranteed ready market to offer and sell their goods.
In the fields of culture and sports also Pahlavi regime was trying desperately to take Israelis and the Zionist government out of the isolation fence and sanctions of the Islamic countries of the region. The exchange of sports teams and holding various competitions were all moves in this direction.
Sending Iranian Muslim students and trainees to Palestine, the establishment of tours and invitation of a number of professors, intellectuals and writers of Iran to visit the occupied territories was a part of the relations and cooperation in cultural, scientific and sports fields with the aim of creating intellectual, psychological and cultural fields to accept Israel by the Muslim people of Iran. Zionists in order to pursue these objectives elected dozens of professors, writers, journalists, students every year and invited them for trips, entertainment or scientific trips to in occupied Palestine.
Of course there were some Iranian guests who were not so much ingratitude! And they praised Israeli host were ardent missionary of Israel.
