One of the beautiful valleys of LORESTAN state, which has also the tallest bridge in the Middle East, is called as KHAZINEH valley.
The province of LORESTAN is one of the regions of our country that has natural and virgin landscapes and a collection of hundreds of historical treasures. LORESTAN is a mountainous province in the west of Iran, with its velvet mountain, numerous waterfalls and straits and oak forests that make it one of the most remarkable tourist destinations for both domestic and foreign tourists. Despite the high potential that the province has in attracting tourists, it has not succeeded in attracting tourists to its real status due to low advertising. Existence of region is dating back to 40 thousand years ago, so it is natural that state has its own attractive sites, but we do not want to talk about its historic attractions but we are introducing one of its natural wonders, which is called as the Valley of KHAZINE POLDOKHTAR, located in the city of POLDOKHTAR, and is famous for its incredible nature.
One of the beautiful valleys of LORESTAN province, which is also the tallest bridge in the Middle East, is the KHAZINE POLDOKHTAR valley, which is located in the city of POLDOKHTAR. This amazing valley has been caused by its erosion for many years, and due to its strange similarity to the Grand Canyon Valley in the United States, it has been named the Grand Canyon of Iran, and it is interesting that the KARKHE River goes through that valley and multiplies its prospect.
One of the most spectacular parts of the KHAZINE POLDOKHTAR Valley is the suspension bridge, that is the tallest suspended bridge not only in Iran, but also in the Middle East, with a length of 112 meters and an altitude of 85 meters, and the Suspension Bridge of MESHGIN city with a difference of 5 meters, is the second tallest Suspended bridge of Iran. The suspended bridge is located right on the valley and the water of the river KARKHE passes under it. Standing on this bridge, gives you the feeling of standing on the roof of the tallest skyscraper in the world where the valley is below your foot. Despite the height, sometimes you can hear the sound of the water at times. It has much pleasures, standing on top of this bridge is really exciting and adventurous.
Another exciting thing to do when visiting this eye-catching area is climbing, due to the high altitude and elevation caused by erosion in the cliffs of this region, there is an excellent opportunity for climbing one of the most beautiful natural sites of Iran.
As we have mentioned above, this valley became famous because of its great similarity to the Grand Canyon of United States. This similarity has grown to a point in such a way that you can`t distinguish between two valleys in the photos. This is what has attracted everyone's attention. This part of the KHAZINE POLDOKHTAR valley is known as, horseshoe bolt and rock is located in the middle of the area and is surrounded by water.

As mentioned above, this region is not well known by tourists because of its low publicity, which has a positive and negative dimension. And still, they are virgin and intact, but the negative point is the decline in economic income through attracting tourists. As mentioned above, the province has a lot of attractions, among which are the FALAK-OL-AFLAK castle, the NOZHIYAN waterfall, the GOHAR Lake, the KALMAKARE Cave, the waterfall and the bog plantations and many more.
