The most famous peaks from the northwest to the southeast are Almabelagh 2997 m, Karkas 2959 m, Ghezel Arsalan 3250 m, Daem Barf 3450 m, Kalagh Laan 3490 m, Alvand 3584 m, Tarik Dareh 3314 m, Kamar Larzan 3338 m, Chaar Qoleh (3184, 3172, 3166 and 3170 meters), Yakhchal Saheb (Gav Barreh) 3486 meters, Shahneshin 3496 meters, Sorkh Bolagh 3124 meters, and the peak Kolah Ghazi 3125 meters

● Kolah Ghazi Peak

In the continue of mountain range of Alvand to the southeast and after the peak of the Yakhchal Saheb, the peak of Kolah Ghazi is located in 15 km in south of the city of Hamedan. The way to climb it is through the village of Ebro, the dirt road of Simin village and the Arab Khan Valley, and it takes about 3 hours to reach it as a pedestrian.

● Kamar Larzan Peak

Continuing the edge of Tarik Dareh valley toward the east, first it reaches to the summit of Kamar Larzan and then to Chahar Ghole, and on the other side it reaches the valley of Morad Beig. This valley has a 40-degree slope, and in the valley a spring flows from the heart of the mountain that provides part of the drinking water of the villagers in the valley of Murad Beig. The northern part of Kamar Larzan, Tarik Dareh, and the south is the Farshe Spring, so that the Farshe Spring is visible from this peak. The Dovijin village and the Dareh Gorg village in continue reach to Chahar Qole and Kamar Larzan.

● Chahar Ghole

the Chahar Ghole are four summits close to each other and almost have same altitude, which are located in the southeast of the Alvand Peak and over the Divin valley. Kamar larzan summit is in the south of these mountains, overlooking the Tarik Dare ski resort, and on the northern slope there are the Malek spring and the Ghazi Springs. The shortest way to reach Chahar Ghole is through the Goosaleh valley. Of course, from Divin valley and the valley of Moradbeig, it is possible to climb these summits.

● Kalagh Lan (nest of crow) peak

This mountain has a conic summit on a rocky cliff overlooking the Duzakh Valley; one way to climb to the summit is through Ganjnameh and Kyyuristan, accessible from two pathes. From the first path first we reach to Meshyan Square, and then Takht-e-Nader, and then we arrive at a two way route, one of which reaches to the Alvand peak and the other to the Kalagh Lan. The second route is from the Kewartan Valley to the left, which reaches the Kalagh Lan from the south of peak of Alvand, and length of both routes is almost the same. Another way to climb the Kalagh Lan is through the Barfin village (Merianj valley), which you can reach the summit within an hour of climbing.

● Daem Barf summit

This summit is located in the west of the Alvand Peak and is about 20 km from Hamedan, and is often covered by snow, which is why it is called Daem Barf (it means permanently covered by snow). This summit has a steep slope from the northern and southern slopes. It is easy to climb this summit through the village of Barfin and Imamzadeh Mountain, and the other way is from the Kalagh Lan path, which is a bit more difficult and special for professional climbers, and it takes about 2 hours of climbing.

● Alma-Bolaq Peak

This summit is located in the northwest of the Alvand mountain range and is located adjacent to the villages of Aftachi, Hamekasi and Melmmadra. Its distance to Hamedan is 46 km. This mountain is important because of the high purity iron ore mines. The best way to climb this summit is through the village of Babaali, and it is also possible through the villages of Taj Abad and Aftachi. The Alam-Bolagh is very beautiful in spring and due to the distance from Hamadan it is less popular, but due to its rocky nature, it can be used by climbers. Of its famous herbs we can name short stemmed tulips.

● Alvand Plains

In the mountains of Alvand, in addition to the high and steep peaks, there are small plains with their surface covered with grass and many springs. Considering that the area is relatively flat, it has become a climbers' place of rest. The most important of these fields are: Mishan Field, Nakht-e- Nader, Chaman Shah Nazar and Takht Rostam.

● Northern and Southern Valleys of Alvand

On the northern slopes of Alvand, there are valleys, such as Barfin Valley, the valley of Ganjnameh, the valley of Abbas Abad, the Duzakh Valley, the Goosaleh Valley, the Kivarestan Valley, the Simin Valley, the valley of Murad Beig, the Divin valley, the Ghoz Valley, the Heidariya Valley, and so on. The Mosafaee valleys are also located on the southern slopes of Alvand, including the Sarkan valley, the Artemani valley, the valley of Faran, the Gesandar valley, the Shahrestane valley.

● Alvand Springs

Howze Nabi is one of the most famous springs of Alvand, which originates from a large rock below the Alvand Peak and flows down the northern direction to Takht-e-Nader, with a very cool and pure water.
Takht-e-Nader fountain is located at the beginning of the Takht-e-Nader, is a spring full of water.
The Kalagh LAN Springs is a permanent spring that runs on the meadow of the Kalagh Lan and is used to supply water to the village of Mordabeig Valley.
Ghazi Springs is in the Muradbeig Valley and is used to supply water to the village of Mordabeig Valley.
Malek spring is the source of the rivers in the Divin valley. Seven springs are flowing on the southern slope of Chahar Ghole and on the road leading to Tuyserkan. The Khosrow springs is on the glacier's path to Kolah Ghazi.
On the side of the Keivartan valley and south of the Alvand Peak, there is a small spring called Behesht Aab, which comes out of a rocky slot, and in dry years it has little water and sometimes dries in the summer.
The Afee spring is a spring on the slopes of the Duzakh Valley.
The Aab Morvarid spring is full of water and it's very cool, and water of this spring and the Afee spring pass through the river and Frejin. Near the Morvarid spring, there is a kind of a Salix tree called Morvar (pearl), and perhaps this is the reason why the name of it is Morvarid (pearl) or maybe its name is due to the purity of this spring.
