The first point:
One of the slogans that the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) bade at the beginning of his prophetic mission.إنما بعثت لإتمم مكارم الأخلاق
'' I have been chosen as a prophet to promote the moral principles and to guide human to achieve to the highest rank of moral principles''.
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was successful in this area. All of the historians have written that thirteen persons in Mecca and eleven persons in Medina could read and write in the time of being chosen as God's messenger. The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) promoted the society that was uncivilized and unfamiliar with culture as much as Excellency Dr Gustav Levun in the book '' the civilization of the Islam and the west'' says clearly
'' If the Islamic culture and the civilization had not been, our civilization (Europe) would have fallen behind in their progress for four hundred years .It is our dishonor to say that the Muslims made the European people get rid of the fear and barbarism''.
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) made the uncivilized society a civilized one in the interpretation of Mr.Vil Dervant, an American historian
'' The great university of Baghdad had been well-known and promoted as much as if one of American and European students had been accepted in the entrance examination and she or he had entered there, she or he would have been proud of himself and herself among his or her friends and tribes. The modern hospitals were advanced as much as dignitaries, sultans and kings all over the world referred to the advanced hospitals of Baghdad in order to be cured ''.
This was an example of the action of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants).
When the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) entered Medina, Os and Khezrej, two great and well-known tribes of Medina, were fighting. Tabari in the book '' Tafsirash'' and Siuti in the book ''al-Dor al-Mansur'' have interpreted the following verse
... وَ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنْتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَ كُنْتُمْ عَلَي شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ ث فَأَنْقَذَكُمْ مِنْهَا ...
Os and Khezrej tribes were fighting for one hundred and twenty years. The bliss of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and the Islam stopped the war between them. The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) admonished this bliss to the people and when he was in Medina for ten years and few months, one of the most basic worry of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was to solve any kind disagreement among the tribes and the relatives and disagreements arisen from the ignorant characteristics.
When the prophet (peace of Allah be upon his descendants and him) entered Medina, he made peace among the people that had been fighting and killing each other for one hundred and twenty years which even they brought water for a martyr that was in the last moment of his life in one of fights such as Ohod and he said '' the injured person that is over there needs water more than me''. Then he brought water for the second person and he said the same remarks of the first person and the last person said ''the first person needs water more than me''. In the end,they found the first person, the second person and all of them martyred. The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) promoted the Arabic barbarian that only fought and exploited in the interpretation of Mr. Vil Davarant in his history book
'' When the prophet of the Islam talked about the blessings of the heaven, nymph, birds and castles of the heaven, an Arabic person stood up and said '' O' the messenger of the prophet! Is there fighting and killing in the heaven or not? The prophet of the Islam bade'' the heaven is not a place for war''. The Arabic person said '' hence, the heaven does not belong to us.
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) made great personalities from these tribes with such characteristics which the history is proud of that.
The second point:
Since the prophet Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was the last prophet, the prophecy was ended on the earth, his religion was the end of all of the religions and there would be no religion. This religion was complete and was able to solve all of the social and political problems of human until the doomsday. When the prophet (peace of Allah be upon his descendants and him) was in the center of the Islamic government, his duty was to preach the religion of God, to keep it from any kind of deviations and distortion, to set up justice and to prevent from any kind tyranny. He definitely knew that a leader, such as the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants), should be able to preach the beliefs and the principles of the Islam until the doomsday so that he could solve all of problems and doubts of the society and could find solutions for problems that happened about political and social problems in the society. If it is supposed that this prophecy and religion devote to two or three persons and this religion be under control of others and people that are ignorant and stupid and do not know anything and resort to others in their problems, they will not be well-qualified to lead this religion and to preach thinking and belief foundations of this religion. Hence, the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was planning about assigning a leader, Imam and successor after him at the beginning of his prophecy. If you refer to the history books (whether Shiite or Sunniyou will understand that all of them have narrated which after this sacred verse was descendedوَ أَنْذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الْأَقْرَبِينَ
After the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him his descendants and him) was supposed to reveal his prophecy, he introduced three basic matters at the beginning of his prophecy in an assembly of forty persons:The first discussion:
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) badeO' people! Thing that I have brought for you and no one brought for his nation more beautiful and valuable than it is monotheism.
. قولوا لا اله الا الله تفلحوا.
The second discussion:
I am the prophet that the prophets had annunciated me. I am a person that is the last person and my religion is the end of all religions until the doomsday.The third discussion:
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) took the hand of Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) that was in the age of thirteen years old and badeهذا أخي و وصيي و خليفتي من بعدي.
Ali is my brother, executer and successor after me'' ''
The Sunni scientists have confessed the validity of these narrations and Mr. Hakem Neishaburi in the book '' al-Mostadrek Ala al-Sahihin'' (says '' this narration is valid'' and Excellency Heisami in the book ''Majma al-Zavaed'' says '' the narration is valid''. Mr. Motaghi Hendi in the book '' Kanz al-Emal'' says '' this narration is valid''. Ten of other dignitaries have confirmed the validity of this narration.
Afterwards, the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) presented the discussion of executer and successor of Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) in different situations.
The story of mobahlh verse happened and they mobahlhed up with the Nejran supporters.
فَقُلْ تَعَالَوْا نَدْعُ أَبْنَاءَنَا وَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَ نِسَاءَنَا وَ نِسَاءَكُمْ وَ أَنْفُسَنَا وَ أَنْفُسَكُمْ ثُمَّ نَبْتَهِلْ فَنَجْعَلْ لَعْنَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَي الْكَاذِبِينَ
The dearest and the most beloved person for the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) mobahlhed up and the people saw that the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) had brought no one for mobhlh except Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him), Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her), Imam Hasan (peace be upon him) and Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
Ebn Teimie Harani, the Vahabi theorist, said '' although Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her) among the children of the prophet ( peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and Ayeshe and Hafse among the wives of the prophet ( peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) attended, he chose Hazrat Ali ( peace be upon him) among the men, Hazrat Fateme Zahra ( peace be upon her) among the wives and Hazrat Hussein ( peace be upon him) among the children.
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) wanted to introduce and to say'' these personalities that mobhlhed up for confirming my prophecy are the most qualified persons for keeping my prophecy''.
Mr. Moslem Ben Hojaj Neishapuri in the book '' Sahih Mosalam'' that is the most valid Sunni book writes about the opinion of the Sunni scientists
'' There was no one in the mobahlh story except Ali, Fateme, Hasan and Hussein''.
The Tathir verse was descended
إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَ يُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًاThe prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) got together Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him), Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her), Imam Hasan (peace be upon him) and Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) under his aba and declared to the people '' these are my family as God bade''. Mr. Mosalam also mentioned this story in the book '' Sahih Mosalam''.
Even Om Salame came and said
أ أنا منهم؟'' Am I the member of the prophet's family?''
Hazrat bade
تنهي، انت من ازواج النبي و هولاء اهل بيتي'' Get away! You are one of my wives and these are my family''.
Zid Ben Argham was asked
''Can the wives of a person be considered as his family? He said'' no''. How can it be? A wife and a husband live together for years and when they cannot get along with each other, they get divorce and a wife comes back her father's house''.The sacred verse fifty five of the Maede Surah:
إِنَّمَا وَلِيُّكُمُ اللَّهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ وَ الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُون الصَّلَاةَ وَ يُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَ هُمْ رَاكِعُونَ.The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) refers that the intention of this verse is Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him).
One of great Sunni scientists and Sunni verbal personalities, Azd al-Din Ij, says clearly
و أجمع أئمة التفسير بأن المراد علي.
'' All of leaders and sages of interpretative science agree unanimously that the purpose of this verse is Ali not anybody else''.
Mr. Alusi that has been interested in Vahabiat says clearly in the book '' Ruh al-Maani''.
و غالب الأخباريين علي أنها نزلت في علي كرم الله تعالي وجهه.
''Most of historians agree unanimously that the purpose of this verse is the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him)''.
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) assigned the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) as the caliph of the Muslims in Medina and bade
أنت مني بمنزلة هارون من موسي إلا أنه ليس نبي بعدي
''O'Ali! Your value for me is the same as value of Hazart Harun (peace be upon him) for Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him); otherwise, there will be no prophet for me''.
In the story of the Yaman war, the Yaman got sad about the firm behavior of the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) and then they referred to the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) to complain about it and he bade
عليا مني و أنا منه و هو ولي كل مومن.
'' Ali is from me and I am from Ali and he is the guardian of all of the Muslims''.
Hakem Neishaburi has mentioned this Hadith and said
هذا صحيح علي شرط الشيخين
''The validity of this narration has been confirmed in Sahih Bokhari and Sahih Mosalam''.
There were other different assemblies until the great and unique Ghadir assembly happened.
Mr. Hajar Heisami (died in 947 A.H.) says
'' It was estimated that there were at least ninety thousand persons and at the maximum one hundred and twenty four thousand persons in Ghadir ''.
The verse 57 of Maede Surah was descended
يَا أَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ بَلِّغْ مَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ وَ إِنْ لَمْ تَفْعَلْ فَمَا بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَتَهُ وَ اللَّهُ يَعْصِمُكَ مِنَ النَّاسِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَ'' O' the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)! Introduce Ali as a caliph to the people and if you do not do that, you have not done your prophetic mission completely''.
After the verse was descended, the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) took Hazrat Ali's hand in the unique assembly and bade
من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه.
The Sunni dignitaries, such as Fakhr Razi in the book '' Tafsir al-Razi'' (volume 12/page 42), Mr Siuti in the book ''al-Dor al-Mansur'' (volume 2/ page 298) and Mr. Alusi in the book ''Ruh al-Maani'' (volume 6/page 139) said
'' After this sacred verse was descended, the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) took the hand of Imam Ali and bade to the people
من كنت مولاه و فهذا علي مولاه.
After the caliph was introduced, Hazrat Gabriel was descended and descended verse 3 of the Maede Surah
الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَ أَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَ رَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلَامَ دِينًا
''O' the messenger of God! Your religion has been completed today and the guardian of the religion that is going to be kept until doomsday has been determined. The person that is going to keep the religion until the doomsday and to solve social problems related to the religion has been introduced, the religion has completed and the desired Islam of God has been introduced today''.
Among Sunni dignitaries, Khatib Baghdadi narrates this story in the book '' Tarikh Baghdad'' with very valid document and reliable narrators which this religion was completed, after the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) was assigned as a caliph by Hazrat Gabriel.
There is a lot in relation to this verse. However, I just wanted to take a look at this story with power of God and the favor of Imam Zaman. One of the greatest problem of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was about assigning a successor after him during twenty three years.
The third point:
The next point is about three painful events at the end of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) decease which caused that the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) said goodbye to the nation in the bitterest and the most painful way about of noon call- to prayer in such a day and he passed away with heart full of grief. The first event:In the first event, the supporters assassinated the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). After they came back from the Tabuk war, twelve persons of the companions decided to assassinate the prophet (peace of Allah be upon and his descendants). They wanted to make the camel that prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) had ridden run wild so that they could throw him into the valley and by this means, they could achieve to their malicious aim.
We do not care about who these twelve supporters were? I do not want to say what deceased Majlesi (may God's mercy be upon him), Seikh Tusi (may God's mercy be upon him), Seyed Morteza (may God's mercy be upon him) and …thought about this case. I would like to introduce you a valid juridical Sunni book with the name ''al-Mahali'' whose writer is Mr. Ebn Hazam Andelesi that is one of Sunni and scientific dignitaries and founders. Mr. Ebn Hazam has mentioned the names of the companions in the book '' al-Mahali'', and the book '' al-Ghesas''.
Of course, the teacher society of Qom theological school has published my brief pamphlet that is about forty questions in relation to Imamate and caliphate and I have said this matter in detail in it. After Mr. Ben Hazam narrated this story, he mentioned the persons that assassinated the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). Then, he said that twelve persons of Sunni dignitaries such as the writer of the book '' al-Tabaghat al-Kobra'', Mr. Ebn Hajar Asghalani, the writer of the book '' Tahzib al-Tahzib'', Mr. Zehbi, and the writer of the book '' Seir Alam al-Nebla'' have Tusigh Mr Omar Ben Janid.
One of the most painful event that happened before the decease of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and shocked the Islamic society and hurt the heart of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and worried the immaculate and innocent prophet's family (peace be upon them) was the assassination of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants).
The second event:
This painful event is the story of Jish Asame. The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was the targets and the conspiracies of the scandalous government in Haras. The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) arranged an army that was led by Mr.Asame Ben Zid whose age was eighteen years old before his decease and bade '' move with bliss of God''. However, Mr. Ebn Hajar Asghalani that is one of scientific founders of the Sunnite says in the book '' Fath al-Bari Sharh Sahih al-Bokhari ''. The family of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was informed secretly which the condition of prophet's health (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was grave and he was about to die.''Excellency Omar Abu Bakr was a person that entered Jish Asame''
In spite of that, the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) bade
لعن الله من تخلف عن جيش اسامة
'' God curses the persons that transgress Jish Asame''.
In addition, Mr. Seyed Jarjaei says such a matter in the book ''al-Mavaheh''
They delayed in informing the family of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) about his grave health condition until they went there on Safar 28th that coincided on Monday. We refuse to mention who informed them. They said that the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was in the last moments of his life. They waited until the time of noon call- to prayer approached. They sent a message to the Asame army from the house of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) that prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) passed away. The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) ordered Jish Asame to fight with the Rome government, but they disagreed with the order of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and then they came back Medina.
This was the second painful event.
The second event:
The third event that is the most painful is the story of ink and pen.The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) bade four days before his decease
هلم اكتب لكم كتابا لن تضلوا بعدي.
Or:
ائتوني بقلم و دوات اكتب لكم كتابا لن تضلوا بعدي.
'' Give me a note book or a sheet of paper and pen to write something in order to save you from going astray forever''.
All of the Sunni scientists have narrated this narration. They have narrated the narrated and historical books of the ink and pen Hadith. Even Bokhai has mentioned this Hadith in thirteen parts of the book '' Sahih Bokhari'' and Mr. Mosalam has mentioned this Hadith in eighteen parts in the book '' Sahih Mosalam'' as well.
Even Tabarani, one of the Sunni dignitaries, was obliged to narrate the valid narrations in volume 3/ page 30
'' The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) bade '' bring pen and paper to write something so that
لا يختلف بعدي حتي إثنان.
Even two persons cannot have disagreement after me''.
Unfortunately, although the supporters had seen the attempts of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) for saving them from fear and barbarism and his attempts in the wars for confronting with the invaders and they had seen that he applied all of his abilities in order to save this nation, they accompanied him with the worst words and said
ان رسول الله قد يهجر (يا) هجر.
''The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) is saying nonsense''.
If one of our Sunni brothers whose father is dying wants something from us and we say '' your father is saying nonsense'', he will definitely be sad and will stand against us and he will say '' you acted impertinently toward my father''. But they do not care about the way that the companions acted impertinently toward the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). They have stupid interpretations and justifications.
Or the second caliph was intended
قال عمر: قد غلبه الوجع.
''The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) says such remarks because he suffers from a lot of pain''.
The remarks of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) were nonsense. The Quran says
وَ مَا يَنْطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَي * إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْيٌ يُوحَي
'' Whatever the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) says is revelation''.
It may have been said in the Quran or the tradition. However, they said such a sentence.
However the Quran says
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا لَا تَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ النَّبِيِّ
''No one is allowed to raise his or her voice in the presence of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)''.
فتازع الناس، فكثر اللغو.
They struggled, fought and said nonsense remarks in the presence of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). Some said '' bring paper'' and some said '' do not bring it''. In this way, they made the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) sad.
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) is deserved to say
إِنَّكَ لَعَلي خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ
Or it has been said in the rank of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)
فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ لِنْتَ لَهُمْ وَ لَوْ كُنْتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ الْقَلْبِ لَانْفَضُّوا مِنْ
'' If you had been bad-tempered, they would have definitely scattered''.
The prophet became sad as much as he bade
قوموا عني.
'' Get out of my house''.
How painful it is! The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) became too angry to enforce them to leave his house.
The fourth point:
Three painful events that happened after the decease of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) hurt the heart of the prophet's family (peace be upon them) for fourteen centuries. At the present, we believe that the sacred heart of the Imam Zaman as well as the heart of the Shiites has hurt.The first event:
When the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) wanted The Hazarts to give him pen and paper, they said'' the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) is dying, his sickness has effected on him and his remarks seem to be nonsense''.After the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) passed away, the second caliph held a sword in his hand and said
من قال ان محمد قد مات ضربته بسيفي.
'' If someone says that the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) has died, I will cut his head by this sword''.
What does it mean? What is the story? What has happened? The second caliph did not use his sword against someone during twenty three years. If you study the history, you will know this fact. I never say this as a Shiite, but a person that searched about this case for forty years. The Sunni scientists say to us has
'' One day, a mosquito had sat on the body of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and Excellency the second caliph made the mosquito away from the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) in order to defend him''.
They never saw even the courage of the second caliph in killing mosquito.
He even narrated in all of the wars himself
'' He escaped toward the mountain when the war failed''.
عن عمر، قال: تفرقنا عن رسول الله صلي الله عليه و سلم يوم أحد، فصعدت الجبل، فسمعت يهود تقول: قتل محمد
'' I saw a Jewish person say '' the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was killed''.
He said proudly that he ran away. We do not know why he used his sword after the decease of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and said those sentences. Even Ebn Abas came and said
'' O' Omar! What kind of condition is it? Omar said '' as Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) achieved to the visit of God, the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) has achieved to the visit of God and he will come back later and if he does not eradicate the hypocrites of Arab island, he will not die. The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) is the last person among us will pass away. Ebn Abas said to the people '' have you ever heard this?'' they said '' no''. Ebn Abbas said '' Mr. Omar! I went to the bed of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and saw the signs of death on his face''. He said '' If someone says that the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) has died, I will cut his head by this sword''. Excellency Abu Bakr that was out of Medina arrived. He informed that there was conflict in the mosque. He saw some people supporting his remarks around him and some are around Ebn Abbas and others.
Abu Bakr said ''O' Omar! What has happened?'' he said '' the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) is not going to die''. Abu Bakr started reading this verse
وَ مَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلَّا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ أَفَإِنْ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَي أَعْقَابِكُمْ وَ مَنْ يَنْقَلِبْ عَلَي عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا وَ سَيَجْزِي اللَّهُ الشَّاكِرِينَ
''Abu Bakr said '' Abu Bakr! Are you reading the verse of the Quran?'' He said '' yes''. Omar said '' I swear God that I have never heard this verse so far and I did not know that there was this verse in the Quran''.
Siuti has narrated in the book ''al-Dor al-Mansur'' that the second caliph said
فقال عمر: هذه الآية في القران؟ و الله ما علمت أن هذه الآية أنزلت قبل اليوم.
'' I swear God that I did not know that the verse was descended''.
Excellency Siuti is one of Sunni scientific founders and when he passed away, the knowledge of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was buried under dirt in the interpretation of the Sunnis. It demonstrates how valuable his knowledge was. He narrates from Omar Ben al-Khetab
'' One day, Omar Ben al-Khetab was sermonizing and said '' O' people! When the Muslims failed in the Ohod war, we understood that the polytheists had invaded and they were killing the Muslims and their leader was Khaled Ben Valid. I escaped toward the mountain and I heard that a Jewish person said '' the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) had been killed''. Omar says ''we came and found the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) alive'' and this verse was descended
وَ مَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلَّا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ أَفَإِنْ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَي أَعْقَابِكُمْ وَ مَنْ يَنْقَلِبْ عَلَي عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا وَ سَيَجْزِي اللَّهُ الشَّاكِرِينَ
The second caliph has narrated the reason that this verse was descended. He says in the book ''al-Dor al-Mansur''.
'' I swear God that I did not know that there was such verse in the Quran!''
God willing, all of these stories will be clear in the judgment of God justice and one day, the child of Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) will come and will make the world light and full of justice and he will interrogate all of them. This is the first painful event that happened after the decease of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants).
The second event:
In the afternoon of Monday (Safar 28th) people gathered around the house of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) in order to help each other in the funeral ceremony of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). They informed the second caliph '' O' Omar! Don't you know that some of the supporters are teasing on the caliph in Saghife Bani Saede and sayقالت الأنصار: منا أمير و منكم أمير
The second caliph sent someone to call Abu Bakr and he said'' stop doing anything and visit him as soon as possible''.
We do not know what happened in Saghife Bani Saede.
The second caliph was the first person that informed others in relation to the story of Saghife in 23 AH. After he came back from Medina, he gave sermons in the last moments of his life and said
قد خالفنا المهاجرين و الانصار و اجتمعوا في سقيفة بني ساعده.
'' O' people! After decease of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants), the migrants and the supporters disagreed with us''.
Can you understand what happened in Saghife Bani Saede?
I announce to all of researchers that even one of members of Saghife did not say what happened in Saghife until 23 A.H... Even they were forbidden to say anything until the second caliph began saying about the discussion of Saghife.
In that day, Saghife boycotted Sad Ben Ebade that was a candidate by the supporters which the second caliph said
قتله الله.
'' God killed him (Sad Ben Ebade is not deserved to be a candidate)''.
Hobab Ben Monzar came and said according to the interpretation of Mr. Ebn Abi
قتل حباب بن منذر
'' They punched the nose of Hobab Ben Monzar which made it deformed''.
They concluded in the disagreement that all remarks of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) should be rejected during twenty three years. All of the recommendations of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) should be crushed under feet because we believe that the caliph of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) should be Abu Bakr not Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him).
It is an interesting matter. I recommend all of dears that are interested in the Quran and the interpretation to study verse 31of Modaser Surah. The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) divided people around him in four groups
وَ يَزْدَادَ الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا إِيمَانًا وَ لَا يَرْتَابَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَ لِيَقُولَ الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ وَ الْكَافِرُونَ . . .
'' Believers, unbelievers, the lovers of the holy book and people that are sick in their heart''.
The interpreters were curious to know who these four groups were.
Mr. Fakhr Razi said
و الذين في قلوب المنافق مرض.
However, there were no hypocrites in Mecca When the Islamic government has power and greatness, there will definitely be the hypocrites. They were afraid of greatness and power of the Islam; therefore, they applied discord against the Islam. The Islam did not have any greatness in Mecca so that someone could apply discord against the Islam. However, they said
يعني في قلوبهم شك
Although some had believed in the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) apparently, they were doubtful about the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) from the bottom of their heart.
They were persons that made hat from this felt. They bade in Hodaibie reconciliation
ما شككت في نبوت محمد كشكي في يومي هذا.
I have never been doubtful about the prophecy of Muhammad like today''. ''
Well, who are these? The woman said to the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)
أنت الذي تزعم أنك رسول الله؟
'' Do you imagine that you are the messenger of God?''
The third event:
After the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) deceased, the third event was about invasion against the family of innocent and immaculate Imams.Mr. Ebn Abi al-Hadid Motazeli says clearly
'' When they came out of Saghife Bein Saede, Mr. Bara Ben Azeb said'' I saw Excellency the second caliph suppressing people with some maces in his hand (in the interpretation of Sheikh Mofid (may God's mercy be upon him): mace in hand) and they caught people by force and pushed them toward the first caliph''. شاء ذلك أو أبي
''Whether they wanted or no, they caught people by force and pushed them toward the first caliph ''.
They brought some persons from around Medina that had mace in their hand into Medina. In the first day, the Bani Aslam tribe had animosity with the supporters. The second caliph made a military contract with them and said '' if you help me in swearing allegiance with Abu Bakr, I will give whatever (money and facilities) you want. Tabari, Ebn Asir and Ebn Kasir Dameshghi Selfi have such an interpretation. When the second caliph saw the youth of Bani Aslam (persons with mace in their hand), he ordered to make them swear allegiance with Abu Bakr by any means.
جاء عمر بقبس من النار.
When the second caliph invaded the house of revelation, they used sword, lance and bow. All of the historians have written that they used explosives. Why have they used them? What made them do that? If they had come with weapons, Bani Hashem would have definitely stood against them. Zobeir was one of defenders of the leader of the faithful and they fired the house of the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) and burnt whatever was in the house.
فقيل له: يا أبا حفص! إن فيها فاطمة، قال: و إن
'' They said'' Mr. Omar! Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her) is in this house'', he said '' I don’t care about it''. They said '' Hazrat Hussein (peace be upon him) and Hazrat Hasan (peace be upon him) are in the house''. He said '' I don’t care about it''.
The events of 11 A.H. have been written in the history of Tabari. Mr. Shahrestani that is one of religious Shafei scientists has narrated them in detail in the book ''al-Melal and al-Nahl''. He says clearly in the day of the allegiance
إن عمر ضرب بطن فاطمة يوم البيعة حتي القت الجنين من بطنها
''Omar hit the stomach of Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her) so severely which the baby that was in her womb was aborted''.
This is not the statement of Majlesi (may God's mercy be upon him) and Kalini (may God's mercy be upon him), but it is the statement of a Sunni Shafei scientist.
They also narrate from Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her)
صبت علي مصائب لو أنها، صبت علي الأيام صرن لياليا
''A lot of plights were imposed on Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her). If these plights had been imposed on daylight, it would have been changed into dark night''.
Mr. Zehbi is interpreted as '' Imam al-Hadith'' and his professor is Mr. Imam al-Haramein Vajini. Zehbi says in admiring him
الإمام المحدث الأوحد الأكمل.
'' He is a leader and Hadith teller and he is also unique in his age and he has a lot of accomplishments''.
Tezkere al-Hefaz Lelzehbi (volume 4/ page 1505)
Mr. Zehbi narrated mourning for Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her) from the mouth of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) in the book ''Feraed al-Semtin''. The Sunni scientists '' the martyrdom of Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her) is a fiction and it is not a fact''. I wish the side of Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her) had not been broken and the abortion of Mohsen had been a fiction.
Mr. Imam al-Haramein has an interpretation
''When all of people gathered in the house of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and mourned in the last moments of life of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants), the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) saw that Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her) was moaning and the drops of tears were flowing from her eyes and she was breathing hardly from the grief of being separated from father. The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) looked at Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her) and said '' what is grief for? ''
و إني لما رأيتها ذكرت ما يصنع بها بعدي كأني بها و قد دخل الذل بيتها، و انتهكت حرمتها، و غصب حقها، و منعت إرثها و كسر جنبها و أسقطت جنينها و هي تنادي يا محمداه فلا تجاب، و تستغيث فلا تغاث . . . ، فتقدم علي محزونة مكروبة، مهمومة، مغصوبة، مقتولة
'' I can predict a day that some persons will invade your house, will insult you, will usurp you right, and will deprive you from your inheritance. I can also predict that they will break the ribs of your chest and will press you between door and wall as much as your baby becomes aborted. You will be calling '' the messenger of God! O' my father!'' But no one answers you…you will come to me in the doomsday as you are sad, distressed, usurped right and martyred''.
The role of the prophet (peace be upon him and his descendants) in exalting the society culture of human, the end of prophet prophethood and the immortal Sharia:
It is vital to assign some persons to keep this religion as long as it exists (until the doomsday) and they solve the problems of the society in the political, social and cultural areas. One of the greatest worry of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was the matter of successor, caliphate and guardianship after him from the early days of his prophetic mission. He started this job with a small assembly with 40 persons (al-Dar Hadith) and ended it with a unique assembly (Ghadir) with the population more than 100 thousand.
The matter of leadership and successor was too important for the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). Hence, even when he was about to die, he bade ''bring pen and paper to write something so that next generations do not go astray''.
The Sunni dignitaries, Mr Ebn Asghalani in the book '' Fath al-Bari'' and Mr. Novi in the book '' the explanation of Sahih Mosalam'' , says clearly about the Hadith '' pencil and ink '' the purpose of the prophet ( peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) from writing letter was to specify caliphs and Imams after him. Even Sunni Ebn Abi al-Hadid Motazeli narrates from Ebn Abbas
'' We were walking at the beginning of caliphate of the second caliph. Mr. Omar asked me '' O' Abu Bakr Abbas! Did you know what the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) wanted to write in the last time that he requested pen and ink. Ebn Abbas says '' I said '' the leader of the faithful (Omar) says to us his remarks in order to use them''. The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) willed to specify the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) as caliph, Imam and successor, but I prevented him from it''.
لقد اراد رسول الله أن يصرح بإسم علي فمنعته.
We said some matters in relation to the bitter and painful events before the decease of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and some bitter and unpleasant events after the decease of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). Today, I want to say to you that although the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) emphasized on assigning Imam Ali (peace be upon him) as a successor after him, what factors made the orders of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) about Imamate be ignored, people ignored Ali (peace be upon him) and they assigned another person as Imam. The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) tried for them for 23 years. Wisdom, conscience and fairness were involved that they should have got together in the day of the decease of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and they should have picked up his corpse and after they buried him, they should have dealt with caliphate. However, unfortunately, they left the corpse over some people of Bani Hashem such the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) and they went to Saghife Bani Saede to choose a caliph and said
مناأمير و منكم أمير.
The history is clear to us and it says so clearly and obviously
فقالت الأنصار أو بعض الأنصار: لا نبايع إلا عليا
'' We never swore allegiance with anyone except Ali (peace be upon him)''.
This was one of slogans of Saghife.
He also says clearly in the book '' Yaghubi History'' (
و كانوا مهاجرين و الأنصار لا يشكون في علي.
'' The migrants and the supporters had no doubt about the caliphate of Imam Ali (peace be upon him)''.
But it is important and crucial to say that some of them had been fond of presidency, policy and headship as much as they could not see realities at all.
Mr Zehbi that is one of Sunni scientific founders narrates in the book '' Seir al-Alam al-Nebla'' about Abu al-Mali
'' Mr Ghazali that is the writer the book ''al-Oyun'' was asked '' Excellency Ghazali! Was Mr. Omar Ben Khetab that attended in the day of Ghadir the first person that congratulated Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) and he said
بخ بخ لك يا علي، أصبحت مولاي و مولاي كل مؤمن و مؤمنة
Or not? Mr Ghazali said '' yes, he was the first person that congratulated Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) ''. They asked '' did they swear allegiance with each other?'' he said '' yes, they swore allegiance with each other''. They asked '' why did they break that?'' Mr Ghazali said '' being fond of presidency made Excellency Omar break allegiance and choose another person as the caliph of the Muslims''.
أنسيتم قول رسول الله يوم غدير خم قال: من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه
It is clear that the slogan is not useful.
Hazrat Fateme Zahra, only child and the soul of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants), attended in the mosque among the migrants and the supporters in the last day of the prophet decease (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and she said loudly
أنسيتم قول رسول الله يوم غدير خم قال: من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه
'' Have you forgotten the remark of my father that bade in the day of Ghadir '' Ali will be the leader of everyone that I used to be as their leader''.
According to the narration of Sheikh Sadugh in the book '' Khasal'', Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her) bade
هل ترك أبي يوم غدير خم لأحد عذرا؟
'' Did my father leave any excuses and way out for anyone in the day of Ghadir?
There were a lot of shouts to defend Hazrat Ali (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants), but there were no ears to listen. This was a matter that had already been planned. He had provided the introductions of this story many months and years ago and they had predicted all of its grounds.
Mr. Abu Riye that is one of Sunni famous open-minded scientists in Egypt narrates in the book '' Ma Rejal al-Fekr Fi al-Ghahere''
إن الحزب القرشي الذي يرأسه أبو بكر و عمر و أبو عبيدة لم يكن وضعا حاضرا و لا وليد مفاجأة أو ارتجال و إنما كان وليد مؤامرات سرية مبرمة، حيكت أصولها و ربت أطرافها، بكل عناية و إحكام و إن أبطال هذه المؤامرة: أبو بكر، عمر بن الخطاب، أبو عبيدة بن الجراح و من أنصار هذا الحزب: عائشة و حفصة.
'' The caliphate of Abu Bakr did not happen after several hours talk in Saghife, but it was a conspiracy and it had been planned many times ago. The heroes of this conspiracy were Abu Bakr, Omar and Abu Obeide Jarah and the supporters of this conspiracy were Ayeshe and Hafse''.
This is not the remark of a Sunni scientist but a Shiite scientist and it demonstrates conscience and freedom.
Mr. Abd al-Fateh Abd al-Maghsud is one of famous personalities in Egypt when he discusses about the matter of pen and ink, he prevents Omar Ben Khatab from writing this will and he says in the book '' Ma Rejal al-Fekr Fi al-Ghahere''.
'' In my opinion, when the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) bade '' bring pen and ink to write something to prevent you from going astray'' but Omar tried to prevent that. On one hand, it was a conspiracy that prevented Imam Ali (peace be upon him) from Imamate and caliphate and on the other hand, the conspiracy was related to the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) which they crushed the 23 year remarks of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) under their feet''.
When Mr. Ebn Ghatibe Dinuri says the story of Saghife in the book '' al-Emame and al-Siyase'', he says some statements that hurt the heart of human.
When the second caliph entered the house of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), he took Imam Ali (peace be upon him) to the mosque by force. The second caliph said to Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) '' you should swear allegiance''. Imam Ali (peace be upon him) said '' at the present, you should firm the foundations of Abu Bakr government so that they leave this government to you by all means''. The leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) writes in Nahj al-Balaghe/ letter 28
إني كنت أقاد كما يقاد الجمل المخشوش حتى أبايع و لعمر الله لقد أردت أن تذم فمدحت ، وأن تفضح فافتضحت.
'' As a camel is pulled with tied mouth, they took me from the house to the mosque by force''.
Mr. Ghatibe says in another book
قالوا لعلي: بايع، فقال علي: إن لم أفعل فمه؟ قالوا: إذا والله نضرب عنقك، فقال علي: إذا تقتلون عبدالله و أخا رسوله! فقال عمر: أما عبدالله فنعم، و أما أخو الرسول فلا.
Omar said to Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) '' you should swear allegiance with Abu Bakr''. Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) said '' if I do not swear allegiance, what will happen? Omar said '' I swear God which I will cut your head''. Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) '' are you going to kill the brother of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and God's servant?''. Omar said '' if you say that I am going to kill a servant of God by killing you, you will not be right, but if you say that I am going to kill the brother of messenger (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) by killing you, you will be right. However, you are not the brother of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)''.
Mr. Ebn Ghatibe has an interpretation that is so ugly and painful. People recognized Imam Ali (peace be upon him) as a hero in all of the Islamic wars until the day of Ghadir. They recognized Imam Ali (peace be upon him) as the winner of the Badr, Khabir, Ohod and Hanin wars. When the name of Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) is mentioned, the masterwork of Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) in wars against the great heroes of unbelievers is imagined in minds. It can be seen only innocence, tears and helplessness from Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him).
Ebn Ghatibe says
'' Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) moaned, cried and looked at the grave of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) '' O' cousin! They have planned the conspiracy of murdering me in such a condition. Omar said to Abu Bakr '' why don't you issue the final order for killing Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him)?'' Abu Bakr said '' as long as Imam Ali (peace be upon him) has a supporter like Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her), I cannot issue my last remark andorder''. In such a situation, the order of murdering Hazrat Fateme Zahra ( peace be upon her) was issued and the conspiracy of separating Hazrat Fateme Zahra ( peace be upon her) from Hazrat Ali ( peace be upon him) was planned and …fire …door…the abortion of Mohsen Ben Ali…''.
This was a preplanned and hidden conspiracy.
Another point that needs to be discussed here is whether Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) defended him or he remained quiet from the early moments of Abu Bakr caliphate and his exclusion ( Hazrat Ali ( peace be upon him) from the area of policy and caliphate.A lot of Sunni scientists ask '' if Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) had been as the assigned caliph of the messenger of God, why wouldn't he have defended his right once? And do the Shiites say what Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) did not claim?
Are they ignorant or do they pretend that they are ignorant and stupid? Or haven't they studied the history of their historians? Or may they have studied, but they deny it?
Mr. Ebn Ghatibe, Mr. Tabari and others have narrated in detail that Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) had sat at home when Ghanfaz, the servant of Omar comes, he says
فأتى عمر أبابكر، فقال له: ألا تأخذ هذا المتخلف عنك بالبيعة؟ فقال أبوبكر لقنفد و هو مولى له: إذهب فادع لي عليا، قال فذهب إلى علي فقال له: ما حاجتك؟ فقال يدعوك خليفة رسول الله، فقال علي: لسريع ما كذبتم على رسول الله. ... فقال علي: أنا أحق بهذا الأمر منكم لا أبايعكم و أنتم أولى بالبيعة لي
'' O' Ali! Excellency Abu Bakr, the caliph of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) invited you to come to the mosque and to swear allegiance with Abu Bakr. Hbe uazrat Ali (peace be upon him) said '' how soon you have committed the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) an insulter and a liar! When did the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) assign Abu Bakr as a caliph? I should not swear allegiance with you, but you should swear allegiance with me because I am the assigned caliph''.
Mr. Mosalam narrates a story in his book (Sahih). The Sunni scientists say to us '' you do not say in the right of Abu Bakr and Omar and consider them usurper of right and liar''. We have the same ideas as Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) about Abu Bakr and Omar and even Sahih has said such a thing and we do not have more ideas than Hazra Ali (peace be upon him):
Abbas, the uncle of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) said '' One day, Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and I went to Omar Ben Khatab (18 A.H.) in order to judge about the inheritance of prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and Fadak. Thirty or forty supporters were there''. Excellency Omar said to them
قال فلما توفى رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم، قال أبوبكر: أنا ولى رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم، ... ، فرأيتماه كاذبا آثما غادرا خائنا ... ثم توفى أبوبكر و أنا ولى رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم و ولى أبى بكر، فرأيتماني كاذبا آثما غادرا خائنا ... فوليتها ثم جئتني أنت و هذا و أنتما جميع و أمركما واحد فقلتما إدفعها ألينا
''When the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) passed away, Abu Bakr said '' I am his successor''. Both of you (Ali and Abbas) think that Abu Bakr is liar, sinner, cheater and betrayer…when Abu Bakr passed away, I became his successor and you (Ali and Abbas) think that Abu Bakr is a liar, sinner, cheater and betrayer''.
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) said about Imam Ali (peace be upon him)
علي مع اهسلحق و الحق مع علي، يدور معه حيثما دار
'' Imam Ali (peace be upon him) is right and right is with Imam Ali (peace be upon him)''.
After Omar finished his remark, Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) did not say to him that he had such an opinion and he did not say why he insulted him. The companions that were there did not complain why Omar lied to Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him). The companions said '' saying nothing is the sign of satisfaction''. If the Shiite scientists say that Omar and Abu Bakr are liar, sinner, cheater and betrayer, will it be necessary to execute them without trial and to confiscate their property?
Suppose that Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) is not a caliph and the assigned Imam, but is he a companion or not? You say that the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) stated
أصحابي كالنجوم، بأيهم أقتديتم أهتديتم
'' My companions are like stars; you will be guided if you conform any one of them''.
If a person as a companion conforms Imam Ali (peace be upon him), will its punishment be blasphemy?
There was a meeting on Mehr ninth in Saudi Arab in Riyaz City. Some of the radical Arabic Muftis were there and Abd al-Lah Ben Jabrin, Abd al-Rahman Boraj and Fuzan were there as well. One of cases that was mentioned in this meeting was
'' The muftis requested the Arab government formally not allow the Shiites to pray in the Sunni mosque because they are polytheist and if they enter the mosque, they will make the mosque impure. The Arab government is prohibited to allow the Shiites to visit the house of God because they are polytheist. The Arab government is prohibited to allow the Shiites to study in the Sunni universities''.
What is the crime of the Shiites? It is only affection to the family of the prophet. Only thing that they can attribute to us is to say that we curse the companions. People all over the world should know that our jurisprudents and dignitaries do not mention the interpretation that Mr. Omar Omar Ben Khetab narrates in relation to the idea of Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) about Omar and Abu Bakr in their books. If Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) were today, how would you trade with him? How would you behave him?
Mr. Ben Jebrin, the second scholar in Saudi Arab, was asked'' can we give alms to the poor Shiites or not? He said '' no, the Shiites are unbeliever for four reasons and we cannot give alms to the unbelievers: 1) the Shiites believe that the Quran has been distorted.2) The Shiites do not believe the companions and they curse them.3) the Shiites consider the Sunnis impure and if they shake hands and communicate them, they will wash their hands.4) …
If a camel grazier or donkey grazier of Arab deserts says such a thing, we will not be sad and we will not complain, but the Saudi Arab Mufti and scholar says such a thing and a person that is Mufti and the professor of university and theological school and has a Ph. D degree. In the era of communications, sources and the ideas of the Shiite are easily available and the internet and the satellite has made the world like a village but you express such remarks.
There are a lot of Sunnis in Kerman, Kermanshah and Sis tan and Balujestan provinces in Iran. I myself have more over two, three thousand Sunni friends and I have relationship with them. A Shiite person marries with a Sunni person and vice versa and they live together without any problems. The Sunnis take part in the mourning ceremonies of the Shiites in Kurdistan. Or if the Sunnis hold the funeral ceremonies and other kinds of ceremonies, the Shiites will attend. I cannot understand what they said.
For example, Mr. Dr Ghafari that is one of famous professors has written the book '' the principles of religion of the Shiites that follow twelve Imams'' and it is the thesis of his Ph.D degree and the university book of the international university in Medina. He says in the book'' the principles of religion of the Shiites that follow twelve Imams'' (volume 3/page 1921)
فأذان الصلوات في جوامع الشيعة هكذا الله اكبر، الله اكبر ، خميني رهبر اي و هو القائد ثم قال أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله.
'' After the Islamic revolution obtained its victory, the people wrote the name of their leader (Imam Khomeini (May he reside in God's paradise) in call-to prayer in Iran and the Shiite societies and they say his name before the name of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) in call-to prayer''.
If you say this in a story book or novel, we will not complain, but you have written it in a book that is taught in university. At the present, it has been taught in the B.A level in university of Media for three years.
I do not know why they have been disgraceful and they have lost their conscience and fairness before I want to survey their Islam and religion.
In the interpretation of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)
إن لم يكن لكم دين و كنتم لا تخافون المعاد فكونوا أحرارا في دنياكم
'' If you have no religion and you are not afraid of the doomsday, at least, you try to be a liberal man''.
This is not liberty, but it is betrayal and abjection. One day, your secrets will be revealed. The university student that studies in the international university of Medina will get familiar with the Shiite societies and will understand that a professor has prated and he or she will laugh and titter at your gibberish. The day that your students laugh and titter at your gibberish will be your abjection and humbleness.
Another question that has been asked here and the Sunni scientists mostly find an excuse is
'' You say that the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) talked about the caliphate of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) during twenty three years of his prophecy and he introduced him as the assigned caliph. Is it possible that the companions ignore the remarks of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) whereas they have high power and rank and many virtues have been mentioned for the companions in the Quran? Is it really possible that the companions disagree and disobey the order of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)? What kind nonsense remarks are the Shiites saying?''.
Mr Ben Jebrin says that one of reasons that we consider for the blasphemy of the Shiite is that they say '' all of the companions got renegade except four persons''. In other words, the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) tried to lead human to the right path for twenty three years and is the result of his twenty three –year try the four Muslims? Isn't this imprudence and insult toward the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)?
Here do I express an answer. I answered this question in the house of Dr Ghamedi that is one of great professors of Am al-Ghari University in Mecca. I asked '' how many years was the prophecy period of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)?'' he said'' the prophecy period of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was nine hundred and fifty years''. I said '' how many persons became real Muslims?'' the Quran says
'' وَ مَا آَمَنَ مَعَهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ
Few people got Muslims. Is this weak point of Hazrat Nuh?
Or is it lack of people qualification? Wasn't Hazrat Nuh successful in his training and prophecy? Or he tried all day and weren't the people deserved to accept the guide of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)?
Hazar Musa (peace be upon him) had a lot of miracles for the Bani Israeil tribe and I think that among 124 thousand prophets, no prophet brought miracles for his tribe as much as Hazrat Musa. But when Hazrat Musa left his tribe to visit God, all of the Bani Israeil tribe got renegade and worshiped calf. Do you think that Hazrat Musa was not successful? Or was the tribe of Bani Israeil stubborn and inappropriate and didn't they obey his orders?
The second answer:
If the Shiite saysإرتد الناس بعد رسول الله إلا أربعة أو خمسة.
You narrate from Ayeshe, the mother of the devout, that even a person was not the supporter of the Imam Ali (peace be upon him) after the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and all of them became renegade
لما توفي رسول الله، إرتدت العرب قاطبة
We (few persons) are Muslims still, but you consider all of us renegade. We will learn whatever you answer from the narrations of Ayeshe and we will answer the same for our own Hadith.
The third answer: this narration is not valid at all and it has weak document. If it has weak document, his meaning from renegade is to disagree with the most basic order of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). Few persons tolerated in the way of the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him). The leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) had Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her) sit on the horse at night and he knocked the house of the immigrants and the supporters. How painful it was that a man had his wife sit on the horse and he knocked the doors of the supporters at night in order to defend his right. The people promised '' O' Ali! We will be ready tomorrow''. It has been said in some books that they promised between three and seven thousand persons. The leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) bade '' if you tell the truth, go to such and such a place and get ready with shaved heads and swords.
They said '' we accept and we will be there in the due time''. The leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) found only four persons there. At the next night, the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) along with Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her) and Hosnin knocked the door of house of the immigrants and the supporters. They said '' we will come with shaved heads and swords secretly tomorrow''. The leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) went and saw four persons there again. At the third night, the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) along with Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her) and Hosnin knocked the door of house of the immigrants and the supporters again. This demonstrates the innocence of the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him), of Hazra Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her) and of the prophet's family (peace be upon them).
The leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) says clearly in Naj al-Balaghe'' however much I tried, I found only my family friend and supporter.
فنظرت فإذا ليس لي رافد ولا ذاب ولا مساعد إلا أهل بيتي ، فضننت بهم عن المنية (أو عن الموت) فأغضيت على القذى
''I was worried that if my family faces to the sword of Ghoraysh, the generation of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) will eradicate from the earth forever''.
فرأيت أن الصبر على هاتا أحجى فصبرت و في العين قذى وفي الحلق شجا أرى تراثي نهبا
''I waited as there was thorn in my eyes and bone in my throat, but they exploited all of my wealth, property and Imamate''.
That is true that the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) defended and the Sunni scientists started to discuss about the matter of the companions. We believe that all became renegade except four persons, but you do not believe that four persons did not become renegade and say that all of them became renegade. In addition, it has been mentioned in Sahih Bokhari that the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) bade in the Hoz Hadith
إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم قال: يرد على يوم القيامة رهط من أصحابي فيجلون عن الحوض، فأقول: يا رب! أصحابي. فيقول: انك لا علم لك بما أحدثوا بعدك، إنهم ارتدوا على أدبارهم القهقري
‘’ in the doomsday, some of the companions want to drink the water of the Kosar pool, but the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) will see that they will be prohibited from sitting beside the pool in the doomsday. The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) will say ‘’O’ God! They are my companions and why don't you let them go toward the pool? It will be said ‘’O' the prophet! You do not know what innovations and riots they did after you. They became renegade and they came back to the ignorance time’’.
It is more interesting to know that it has been said clearly in the book '' Sahih Bokhari''
فلا أراه يخلص منهم إلا مثل همل النعم
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) says'' my companions will be taken to the hell and some of the companions will get rid of the hell among all of the companions’’.
What do the Sunni scientists say about this narration? Answer it.
You say that the companions were obedient of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). It is impossible that the companions disobeyed the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). It is the insult that the Shiites did. Is it possible that God says
لَقَدْ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَنْزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ أَثَابَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا
God is satisfied with them, but you say that they have acted against the order of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)!
We ask a question from the Sunni scientists; if they answer it, we will obey them. We narrate two narrations from the book '' Sahih Bokhari''; if they answer, we will take back our claim.
The first narration: It has been narrated in the book '' Sahih Bokhari'' from Ayeshe, the mother of the devout
عن عائشة رضي الله عنها، قالت: سألت النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم عن الجدر أمن البيت؟ هو قال: نعم، قلت: فمالهم لم يدخلوه في البيت، قال: إن قومك قصرت بهم النفقة، قلت: فما شأن بابه مرتفعا، قال: فعل ذلك قومك ليدخلوا من شاؤوا و يمنعوا من شاؤوا و لولا أن قومك حديث عهدهم بالجاهلية، فأخاف أن تنكر قلوبهم، أن أدخل الجدر في البيت و أن ألصق بابه بالأرض
I asked the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) whether the stone of Ismail was the part of God's house? He said ''yes''. I said '' why don't you consider it into the house of God? And why is the door of God's house in the higher part? Why don't you order to put it in the lower part?'' The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) bade '' your tribe has not got ignorant thoughts out of their mind and I am going to order to enter the stone of Ismail into the house of God and to put the door of God's house in the lower part. I am afraid of doing it because your tribe may give up the Islam and they become renegade''.
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) said to Ayeshe '' your tribe is Bani Omaye'' and he never said '' Salman, Abuzar, Meghdad, Omar and …
In relation to this story, Ebn Maje says in the book '' Sonan''
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) did not say
لولا أن قومك حديث عهدهم بالجاهلية.
But he stated
لولا أن قومك حديث عهدهم بالكفر.
'' The effects of blasphemy have not been removed from their mind''.
In other words, they had the blasphemous thought during 17, 18 years in Mecca and Medina.
What is the answer of the Sunni scientists in this case (the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) bade '' the tribe of Ayeshe has the blasphemous and ignorant thoughts)? You expect that they tolerate the caliphate and Imamate of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) whereas they do not want to accept that even the stone of Ismail be in the house of God.
The second narration: the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) had gone to the house of God for Hajj in the last year of his life. The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) entered Mecca and ordered
'' O' People! When you were ignorant, you used to wear Mecca pilgrims' garb in Mighat .then, you went to Mecca with the same garb and stayed there ten days or more. You also went to Arafat in the al-Taruye day and then you went to Mashar, Mona and in the end, Bitola al-Haram in order to circle God's house and pray and afterwards, you left Ihram. The Islam has considered this kind of Hajj false''.
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) ordered this in the last year of his life (22 Besat and 10 A.H.). After The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) ordered this, what did the companions do?
They said
'' O' messenger of God! We cannot accept your remark and we are not ready to leave Ihram (they said a vulgar sentence '' you said that sperm was flowing from our penis and we entered Arafat in such a situation''.)What an impolite and vulgar remark they said to the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)!
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) got angry. Ayeshe said'' the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) came to my room and he was too angry''. I said '' O' messenger of God! Who made you angry? God must take him into the hell''.
What is your answer for this? The companions behaved the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) so impolitely in order to leave Ihram and they used a vulgar sentence and made him angry. The Quran says
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ اللَّهَ وَ رَسُولَهُ لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآَخِرَةِ وَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا مُهِينًا
'' God curses persons that bother God and his messenger in the world and the doomsday''.
You expect that they say that it is acceptable in relation to the caliphate of the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) and they accept the caliphate of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
In the story of Hodaibie peace, who said '' we did not hesitate in the prophecy of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) like today''? Who provided back ground for killing over seventy the dears of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)? Didn't the companions provide background for killing the dears of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)? Quran says about the Friday prayer that the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) took part
وَ إِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَةً أَوْ لَهْوًا إنْفَضُّوا إِلَيْهَا وَ تَرَكُوكَ قَائِمًا قُلْ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ اللَّهْوِ وَ مِنَ التِّجَارَةِ وَ اللَّهُ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ
'' When the prophet was reciting the sermon of the Friday prayer, people had sat in the mosque. When the business caravan entered the city in order to sell their goods, all of the companions left the mosque and prophet lone in the mosque in order to buy the goods''.
What is expected from the companions? If a Sunni clergyman does Friday prayer with ten persons in the village and five persons quit praying in the middle of the sermon, won't Friday prayer leader on Fridays say how unintelligent they are! And won't he say that they insulted me. The Quran has said this clearly. Although the companions behaved the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants), the Sunni scientists say '' you acted impertinently toward the companions''.
Shoabi that is one of great Sunni scientists has narrated it is sorry to hear which
و الله لقد سم رسول الله صلى الله عليه و آله
'' I swear God which they poisoned the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and he didn't pass away with normal death''.
In the last day of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) life, his wives made him swallow the bitter drug. The Sunni scientists have narrated this. They are responsible for whether it is right or false. It has been said in Sahih Bohari and Sahih Mosalam.
قالت عائشة لددناه في مرضه فجعل يشير إلينا أن لا تلدوني فقلنا كراهية المريض للدواء فلما أفاق قال ألمظأنهكم إن تلدوني قلنا كراهية المريض للدواء فقال لا يبقى أحد في البيت الا لد و أنا أنظر إلا العباس فإنه لم يشهد كم
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) bade'' do not make me swallow bitter drug; I do not need drug. Ayeshe said '' since he is sick and distracted, he says such a sentence. She said '' after we made him swallow drug, he fainted. After several hours, he came to and said '' didn't I tell you not make swallow drug?''
Then the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) ordered to make the persons that made him swallow lie down on the floor and swallow drug except Abbas that did not take part in this job.
The Ghoreish tribe fought with the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) for 13 yearsin Mecca. They imposed different kinds of pains and troubles on the prophet (peace of Allah upon him and his descendants). He was imprisoned for three years in Shoab Abitaleb. He could not live in Mecca; therefore, he had to migrate in on Besat thirteenth because the Ghoreish tribe bothered him. After he went Medina, the Ghoreish tribe fought with the prophet (peace of Allah upon him and his descendants) for eight years. The prophet (peace of Allah upon him and his descendants) captured Mecca in 8 A.H. the people of Ghoreish became Muslim by force because the soldiers of Islam kept sword against them.
The leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) bade in letter 16 of Najol al-Balaghe
'' I swear God that split a seed. The Ghoreish tribe (Moavie, Abu Sofyan and their followers) did not become Muslim when Mecca was captured and they pretended that they had been Muslim. They kept blasphemy in their inner. After the prophet (peace of Allah upon him and his descendants) deceased, they revealed their blasphemy''.
The Sunni scientists have narrated such an interpretation from Amar in the Sefin War
قال عمار بن ياسر يوم صفين و ذكر أمرهم و أمر الصلح فقال و الله ما أسلموا و لكن إستسلموا و أسروا الكفر فلما رأوا عليه أعوانا أظهروه
After the Ghoreish tribe came Medina, in the interpretation of Ebn Abi al-Hadid unfortunately,
فكان أبو سفيان كهفا للمنافقين.
'' Medina became the base of the hypocrites''.
After the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) deceased, the hypocrites (whether they had revealed their hypocrisy or had hidden it) did whatever they would like. They introduced the luminous Islam that was going to be spread all over the world (east and west) as a grim religion that was dependent on sword and lance with the inappropriate captures and murders. The leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) was the great supporter of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) during twenty three years and he was a hero in all of the wars. Even it has been said that the unbelievers of the Ghoreish in the tribe of Mecca encouraged their children to fool the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and to throw stone at him. The leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) was not more seven or eight years old when he saw the children of the Ghoreish tribe bothering the prophet, he held them up by their back and threw them on the earth. When they wanted to bother the prophet, seeing the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him), they ran away.
To keep the security for the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants), the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) prepared his bed on the corner of Abi Taleb Shoab because he was worried that the unbelievers had watched there and then they found the place of his sleep, invaded at night and killed him. As night was passing, the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) woke the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) up and he said to him '' sleep in the middle if there are any dangers for you, they should happen to me. The love and friendship of the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) toward the prophet are really admirable.
, only the person that lied in the bed of the prophe ( peace '' ليلة المبيت '' In the night''
Of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him). In the Ohod war, all of the forces ran away except Hazra Ali ( peace be upon him) and three persons that took care of the prophet ( peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) as a butterfly took care of the candle. In the Honin war, twelve thousand of forces of the Islam ran away and Hazra Ali (peace be upon him) stayed with twelve persons in the battlefield. Excellency Khetab Omar said
لو لا سيف علي لما قام عمود الإسلام
'' If the sword of Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) had not been available, the flag of the Islam would not have been raised''.
We asked the Sunni scientists '' where was the sword of Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) during 25 years of Abu Bakr, Omar and Osman government? Why didn't Hazra Ali (peace be upon him) turn up during these 25 years? Did Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) leave the Islam and the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)? Did they play on Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him)? Didn't Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) consider the Islam that they were its pioneer the Islam of the prophet (peace be upon him and his descendants)? What was the story?''
I will narrate few narrations so that you can keep them as a memory.
The first narration: when the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) dealt with these kinds of matters, he narrated a narration from the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) after those stories. The narration is valid and Mr. Tabarani narrates in the book '' Majam Kabiresh'' from the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) that bade
. . . حتى علا بكاؤه، قيل: ما يبكيك؟ قال: ضغائن في صدور قوم لا يبدونها لك حتى يفقدوني.
The second narration: Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) bade
عن علي رضي الله عنه قال إن مما عهدا لي النبي صلى الله عليه و آله إن الأمة ستغدر بي بعده
'' The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) said to me in his wills '' my nation will betray you after me''.
The third narration: the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) said
ما لي و لقريش! إنما وترتهم بأمر الله و أمر رسوله، أفهذا جزاء من أطاع الله و رسوله إن كانوا مسلمين!
'' What is my job with the Ghoreish tribe? What do they want from me? I have killed their heads according to the order of God and the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). If you are Muslim, is this reward of a person that obeys God and his messenger? (They hit him in the presence of his wife and usurped his right.)
Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) bade
أللهم إني أستعديك على قريش، فإنهم أضمروا لرسولك صلى الله عليه و آله ضروبا من الشر و الغدر، فعجزوا عنها، و حلت بينهم و بينها، فكانت الوجبة بي، و الدائرة على. أللهم أحفظ حسنا و حسينا
'' O' God! Help me against the conspiracy of Ghoreish. The Ghoreish tribe wanted to do the dangerous conspiracies about the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants), but they were not successful about it because you made them no do all of the conspiracies. They also imposed on me the retributions related to the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and the tyrannies that were on the account of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). O' God! Save my children (Imam Hasan (peace be upon him) and Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)) from the evil of the Ghorish tribe''.
The result of Saghife action was in the Ashura event. Its consequence was that the tooth of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) was hit by wood in the presence of the prophet's family. Its consequence was the plights imposed on Hazrat Zeinab.
When the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) (the last prophet) was born, the prophecy file was ended forever. All of the prophets (from Hazrat Adam to Hazrat Isa) had annunciated to their followers the birth of Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). In such a situation, the prophet was born.
The Shiites believe that Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was born on Rabbie al-Aval seventeenth, 470 A.D. and the Sunni scientists believe that Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was born on Rabbie al-Aval twelfth, 470 A.D. deceased Sheikh Mofid ( may God's mercy be upon him) has said about the birth of Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) in detail in the book ''al-Reshad''. In addition, Mr. Yaghubi that has been one of well-known historians of the Islam has said about this matter in detail in the book '' the history of al-Yaghubi''.
A lot of matters have been narrated (by the Shiites and the Sunnis) when Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was born. I will mention some of them.
The events that happened in the time of birth of Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) include:
1) The doors of the sky were closed against the evil:
Ebn Shahr Ashub that is one of well-known historians and Shiite scientist founders in the book '' Managheb Al Abi Taleb'' and Allame Majlesi in the book '' Bahar al-Anvar'' have narrated from Imam Sadegh (peace be upon him)'' The evil went to seven heavens and heard the news of seven heavens. When Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him) was born, three of seven heavens were closed against the evil and when the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was born, all of the doors of seven heavens were closed''.
The evil ordered his supporters to see what happened on the earth which he has been deprived of entering the heavens. They went and looked for its reason, but they found nothing and said '' no event has happened''. The evil came to the earth himself and when he arrived Mecca, he saw light shining toward the sky. He asked Gabriel
'' What is going on?''
Gabriel bade
'' Muhammad Ben Abdullah has been born tonight''.The evil said
'' Can I dominate on him?''Gabriel bade
'' Definitely not''.The evil said
''Can I dominate on his nation?''Gabriel bade
''Yes''.The evil bade
'' It can be enough for me''.The veranda of Kasra collapsed, the temple of Fars extinguished and the lake of Save dried.
Ebn Kasir Dameshghi Selfi (died in 774 A.H.) that was one of the Sunni scientists and the student of Zehbi (died in 748 A.H.)and the student Moaser Ebn Teimie ( died in 728 A.H.) discussed in detail in the book ''al-Bedaye and al-Nahaye'' when the prophet ( peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was born the veranda of Kasra that was one of the greatest monarchy and kingdom palace on the earth shook and fourteen crenations of the veranda collapsed. The temple of Fars that was inflaming for thousand and few years extinguished and one of great scientists of Majusi dreamt in that night that there was a camel and an Arabic person rode it and passed Dejle and entered Belad of Iran and Fars.
Ebn Kasir Dameshghi added
'' The veranda of Kasra became two halves, the water of Dejle tore and flew into the palace , light appeared from Hejaz and filled all over the earth, all idols of the earth fell down, the lake of Save dried forever and the water flew into the desert of Samave that was without water for many years''.3. Reciting the articles of faith by the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants):
Ebn Hashem that was one of well-known Sunni historians and his history was a pattern for the next historians narrated in the book ''al-Sire al-Nabuvie'' that when the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was born, his mother, Hazrat Amene, stated
'' My child held his hand up toward the sky, recited the articles of faith and looked around, light reflected from him and it filled around. Then the sound was heard from the light which addressed me '' O' Amene! You have given birth to a child that is the best child and name him Muhammad''.
4. Falling of the idols of Mecca:
Mr. Ebn Shahr Ashub narrates from the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him) in the book ''Managheb Al Abi Taleb''
'' When the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was born, all of the idols in Mecca fell down and the people heard the voice without teller وَ قُلْ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَ زَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا
At the present, people in all of the Islamic countries, such as: Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan and the countries of Persian Gulf, and other Muslims in the European and American countries celebrate, sing, gambol , clap and express joy for the birth of the prophet ( peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) as a cheerful and auspicious day. As a matter of fact, it is one of the best days of the history of human because the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) is the person that all of the prophets had annunciated his coming. This happy feeling of the Muslims is a natural matter and it is not a different thing from the religious matters. Human likes to praise and respect person that is beloved and the most virtuous and to record his name in the history forever. Unfortunately, Wahhabiat that was really the rebirth of the Bani Omaye tradition said '' whatever ceremony held for the birth of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) is innovation, polytheism and blasphemy. Human really does not know how to deal with such nonsense remarks.
That is The book '' Fatavi al-Ljanat al-Daemat Lelabus and al-Efta''
The most famous juridical book of Wahhabite and includes questions and answers in 20 volumes that have been published (the juridical questions of people from all over the world) has been said clearly in
و لا يجوز الإحتفال بمولد الرسول? و لا غيره، لأن ذلك من البدع المحدثة في الدين ... و لأن الرسول? لم يفعله و لا خلفاء الراشدين و لا غيرهم من الصحابة.
'' Happiness is prohibited for the birth of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) as innovations have been established. ….the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) has established such innovations and well-guided caliphs and other companions have not established such innovations''.
This is fatwa that the Sunni scientists have issued. This book is available in different sites.
These Sunni scholars have made fun of feelings and emotions of one milliard and five hundred Muslims whereas there are only four or five million Wahhabite people on the earth. I hope that the inner of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and the family of the prophet put them into trouble and provide some grounds in order to kill them and people get rid of them.
Of course, we need to thank God which they didn't destroy the grave of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants).
One of Saudi Arab muftis (Naser al-Din Albany) declared '' if the government of Saudi Arab claims monotheism and monotheism government, they should destroy green dome above the grave of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and the tomb on of the grave of the prophet.
If they had not been afraid of the Muslims, they would have destroyed the grave of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) several times, but they were afraid of the Muslims.
فَالَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا بِهِ وَ عَزَّرُوهُ وَ نَصَرُوهُ
What is the honor of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)? This verse was not only for the addresses of the prophet era, but it was also related to all of the believers. One of cases of honoring the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) is celebration, happiness and joy in the birth of Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants).
Bani Israeil requested Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him) '' ask God to descend the food of the heaven for us''. Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him) bade to God
أللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا أَنْزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَائِدَةً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدًا لِأَوَّلِنَا وَ آَخِرِنَا
"O Allah our Lord! Send us from the heaven a table set (with viands), that there may be for us - for the first and the last time of us''.
Dears! A heaven food, a quail and a heaven chicken were going to be descended from the heaven for Bani Israeil. Hazrat Isa bade (peace be upon him) '' we consider this day the first and the last festival''. Is the birth of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) lower than food of heaven to call it festival? We do not know what the story is about? The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was to revitalize human. Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him) made a dead person live with his pray, but the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) revitalized human. The Quran bade
أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَ لِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ
'' O ye who believe! Give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give you life''.
People were ignorant of culture and civilization. In the interpretation of historians
'' Only twelve persons were literate in Mecca and only twelve persons could read and wrote in Medina''.
In the interpretation of Gustavlebun
'' We are ashamed of saying this, if the Islamic civilization had not been, the European civilization would have retarded for 800years''.
But if we want to celebrate the birth of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants), the Sunni scientists will consider it innovation.
The Quran says the Shuri Asu Surah (verse 24)
قُلْ لا أَسْئَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْراً إِلاَّ الْمَوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبي وَ مَنْ يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةً نَزِدْ لَهُ فيها حُسْنا
''Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this except the love of those near of kin." And if any one earns any good, we shall give him an increase of good in respect thereof''.
The friendship of the relatives of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was definitely the friendship of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). Aren't the celebration of the birth of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and the Imams that God has considered as the reward of prophecy enough to change our minds?
It has been said in the book '' Fatavi al-Jane al-Daeme Lelbaus and al-Efta''
'' Celebration and happiness for the birth of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and others are false''.
It has also been said in the book '' Fatavi al-Jane al-Daeme Lelbaus and al-Efta''
'' Holding ceremony for festival in the favor of the nation '' Saudi Arab'' and ceremonies for the week of police and the beginning of education and assembly of employees are permitted and they are not prohibited the same as the celebration for the birth of the prophet ( peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)''.
None of the Sunni scientists ask
'' Did the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and the companions celebrate for the police week? Did the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and the companions celebrate for the soldier week? Did they celebrate for the beginning of education? Aren't these considered innovation? Had the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) held such ceremonies?
Hazrat Ayatollah al-Ozma Shirazi
As all of us know that according to the well- known narrations, tonight has coincided with the night of the birth of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Imam Sadegh (peace be upon him). Although there are other narrations about these two dignitaries, the head of the Islam and the head of Jafari religion, we already mentioned the well- known narration. Hence, first of all, I congratulate the persons in charge of this channel and the dear viewers of this sacred night from the bottom of my heart and I offer my congratulations along with prayer for your success.The message that I would like to say to the dear audience is the narration of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants):
'' The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) stood up against the ignorant atmosphere and the atmosphere that was full of darkness, superstitions, cruelty, crime, moral corruption and poverty. No one could believe that the birth of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon his descendants) would change the world. However, God had willed that the prophet (peace of Allah be upon his descendants) changed the world''.
An authentic Hadith from the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) is gift for the dear audience. The narrator of this Hadith:
عن فاطمه بنت الحسين عن أبيها? عن جدها رسول الله? قال:
'' Hazrat Fateme , the daughter of Imam Hussein( peace be upon him), from her father and Imam Hussein( peace be upon him) from his grandfather, Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) narrate that he bade
إن صلاح اول هذه الأمة بالزهد و اليقين و إن هلاك آخرها بالشك و الأمل
As we know that the Islam promoted rapidly and it reached to the highest peak. Then it went forward slowly. The east and west historians have discussed about what promoted the Islam rapidly and retarded some of the Muslims in next stages. They expressed their ideas; some said '' this is a historical puzzle and it is not possible to understand the reason of Muslims promotion and the reason of the next retard. We try to get water from its spring and ask this question from the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) '' what was the reason of Muslims promotion in the early Islamic period?'' and '' what was the reason of its retard?'' the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) bade in this Hadith
What promoted the Muslims of the early Islamic period was two things:
1) It was asceticism (easy life and without formalities);
2) Firm belief and faith in the foundations of the Islam.
Definitely, people that have firm belief keep them and sacrifice themselves for their beliefs are proud of their martyrdom, lead easy lives, promote in their lives and they live on their own two feet; therefore, they live happily forever. Life with formalities is the cause of misery. When the ceremony of consummation of marriage of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and Hazrat Fateme was without formalities, people hold such ceremonies with a lot of formalities nowadays. As matter of fact, groom and bride and their relatives and parents fact up to a lot of troubles in such ceremonies. Sometimes, they have to pay their installments of wedding ceremonies until the end of their life and such life is the cause of misery.
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)
'' What promoted the Muslims of the early period of the Islam was the easy and impeccable life without ceremonies and sin with honor and firm faith and belief''.
و إن هلاك آخرها بالشك و الأمل.
'' What resulted in the eradication of the Muslims and retarded them was doubt and wish''.
Doubt can be found in long wishes. Long wishes make human far from God, selflessness and courage.
If doubt like termites penetrates into the foundations of faith, it will shake the foundations of faith and the beliefs of human will weaken. A person that has weak beliefs and faith and be dependent on the luxurious life cannot stand against enemies.
The emerge of the Wahhabite was to fight against the Islam. It is not a laughing matter and we are ready to prove any Wahhabite scientists that are ready for controversy that the intention of Wahhabite from setting up this group was to fight against the Islam, the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and especially the immaculate and innocent family of the prophet directly and indirectly.
The insults of the Wahhabite scientists toward the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants):
1. Prohibition of uttering praise in the call-to prayer
It has been said formally with the sign of Ben Baz and others in the book '' Fatavi al-Lejane al-Daeme Lelbehus and al-Efta'' (
'' If a person utters praise to the prophet before the call-to prayer, after the call-to prayer and in the middle of it,
من البدع المحدثة في الدين.
This is one of innovations that have been established in the religion.
The prophet (peace of Allah peace be upon him and his descendants) bade
من أحدث في أمرنا هذا ما ليس منه فهو ردّ.
'' Everyone that establishes an innovation in the religion is false''.
The Quran bids about uttering praise to the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)
إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَ مَلائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَي النَّبِيِّ يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَ سَلِّمُوا تَسْليما
''Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect''.
The Quran has not determined when we should utter praise to the prophet ( peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants): at home, in the mosque, before, after the call-to prayer and in the middle of call-to prayer, in the bowing , in the supination and in the standing ( to say our prayers). Wherever we utter praise to the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) is one of the prayer recitations and it forgives our sins and promotes our rank. I think that uttering praise to the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) is the most virtuous fulfillment and it has the most reward among the recommended fulfillments.
The Sunni scientists have said clearly
''Uttering praise to the prophet before the call-to prayer, after the call-to prayer and in the middle of it is considered innovation''.
Aren't such fulfillments innovation? Has the prophet bidden ''do not utter praise to me before the call-to prayer, after the call-to prayer and in the middle of it?''
If the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) had not said it, wouldn't it be considered innovation? If it is supposed that you say about everything that the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) should have bidden, what do you think of the new matters? For example, nowadays, people eat food with spoon; did the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) eat food with spoon? Did the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) fly with plane, talk with loudspeaker and use television and the Internet? Had the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) ordered about these things? In the Hajj ceremonies, you get on plane and car and enter Medina and Jade; had the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) bidden '' any one can go Hajj with plane and car?'' Hajj is a devotional matter. Although prayer is the best worship, you say call-to prayer, the second call to prayer with a loudspeaker; had the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) ordered to pray with a loudspeaker? These are against the Quran.
It has been said clearly in the book '' Sahih Mosalam'' (volume2/page4/Hadith 735/chapter al-Ghol Mesl Ghol al-Moazen Leman Same) that Omarv Ben As narrates from the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)
إذا سمعتم المؤذن فقولوا مثل ما يقول، ثم صلوا علي، فإنه من صلي علي صلاة صلي الله عليه بها عشرا.
'' When you heard the sound of a muezzin, say whatever a muezzin says and utter praise to me. If a person utters praise to me once, God will utter praise to him or her 10 times''.
'' and أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله when a muezzin says ''
, you should repeat them. أشهد أن محمد رسول الله ''
This is the exact statement of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and it has been said in the book ''Sahih Mosalam'' not in the third and the fourth rank.
Mr. Zini Dehlan (died in 1305 A.H.) that was the mufti of Arab said in the book ''Fetne al-Vahabie''
'' Muhammad Ben Abd al-Vahab (one of political founders of Wahhabiate) had ordered ''no one is allowed to give sermons and utter praise to the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) after call-to prayer''.
حتى أن رجلا صالحا كان أعمى و كان مؤذنا و صلى على النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم بعد الأذان بعد أن كان المنع منهم، فأتوا به إلى إبن عبد الوهاب فأمر به أن يقتل فقتل و لو تتبعت لك ما كانوا يفعلونه من أمثال ذلك لملأت الدفاتر و الأوراق.
'' A righteous blind man said call-to prayer. Although it was ordered not to utter praise to the Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) after call-to prayer, he uttered praise to the Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). They took him to the presence of Muhammad Abd Alvahab and Muhammad Abd Alvahab ordered to kill him and they killed him. If I mention the inappropriate and terrible actions, there will be a lot to say''.
Why was the righteous man killed? He was killed because he uttered praise to the Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). This is an example of Wahhabite action and tyranny in the right of Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants).
2. Innovation of praying beside the grave of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)
Mr. Sheikh Saleh Fuzan that is the member of Kabar assembly of Saudi Arab and the member of continuous Lajane says clearly '' the magazine of al-Dava''
'' It is innovation which people go to beside the grave of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) so that their pray can be accepted''.
من البدع كذالك الدعا عند قبر الرسول او غيره من القبور ... أن الدعا عنده يستجاب.
Is there a better and higher place than beside the grave of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)? We do not know from where they have brought such a fatwa!
3. The innovation of endowing the reward of the Quran and prayer to the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants):
It has been said clearly in the book '' Fatavi al-Jane al-Daeme Lelbaus and al-Efta''
'' If a person prays and recites the Quran and endows their reward to the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants), it will be prohibited and innovation''.
They want to cut the relationship of the Muslims with the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants).
4. The polytheism of kissing and cleaning the grave of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)
Ebn Teimie also says
التمسح بالقبر و تقبيله شرك
'' Kissing and cleaning the grave of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) is polytheism''.
We do not know what they want to do. We do not feel sorry for the heads of Wahhabite because there were a lot of people such as the heads of Wahhabite during the history; Bani Omaye, Marvan, Yazid, Moavie and Abu Sofyan did a lot of actions against the Islam. Even there were some persons before them (Bani Omaye, Marvan, Yazid, Moavie and Abu Sofyan) and they did actions against the Islam as well. However, I feel sorry for the educated youths, university students and professors (in the era of communications, people all over the world have focused on the Muslims and we want to issue the Islamic culture and to introduce the Islamic civilization to the world) have been deceived by the Wahhabite heads and they introduce such matters. As a matter of fact, none of the last religions behaved their prophet in this way, but Wahhabite behaved the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). I like the Wahhabite people and the Wahhabite youths like my children and I always pray so that they can have open minds. I do not say that you become Shiite, but I recommend you to study and research and not accept these remarks blindly. You should not consider them as idols for yourself. Destroy these idols and draw aside the thick curtain that Wahhabite heads have put against the eyes of youths, remove this firm obstacle and study. If you study some Wahhabite books, study some books related to the criticism of Wahhabite and then choice will be with you. We do not recommend the Wahhabite youths to study books written against Wahhabite and give it up and we never say such a remark. Study in order to do whatever tactfully. Study books written against Wahhabite and Sunnite such as the book '' al-Derer al-Sanie'' written by Mr.Zini Dehlan and books of Mr. Zehbi, Mr. Ebn Hajar Asghalani and Mr. Ebn Hajar Heisami.
Study the book ''al-Derer al-Kamene'' written by Hajar Asghalani and see what the Muslims and the Sunni scientists thought about Teimie.
They said that the idea of the people about Teimie was:
Some considered him unbeliever and a part of statue;
Some considered him pagan because he had insulted the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants);
Some considered him hypocrite because he had insulted the leader of the faithful (peace be upon him). The friendship with Imam Ali (peace be upon him) is a part of the faith and animosity with Imam Ali (peace be upon him) is discord.
I request the Wahhabite youths and the Wahhabite students to study, research and survey.
After study, research and survey, if you conclude that the thoughts of Muhammad Ben Abd al-Vahab and Ebn Teimie are authentic, follow them.
But if you feel that the thought of Muhammad Ben Abd al-Vahab and Ebn Teimie is false, do not obey them.
Muhammad Ben Abd al-Vahab and Ebn Teimie have issued
'' Holding birthday celebration or the celebration of marriage anniversary is innovation, prohibited and polytheism''.
If God wills, we will discuss about their fatwa and the matters. Even Wahhabite dignitaries have considered any kind of Radio and television and boarding on plane prohibited. They also consider teaching English language prohibited because the English language is the language of the unbelievers. If God wills, we will say some kinds of this in the future.
There was a controversy between Mr. Malek, the head of Maleki (died in 179 A.H.) and Mansur Davanighi , the king of Abasi, which has been narrated about twenty Sunni books. When Mansour Davanighi was reciting prayer beside the grave of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) loudly, Mr. Malek came and said
يا أمير المؤمنين! لا ترفع صوتك! فإن الله أدهب قوما فقال: «لا تَرْفَعُوا أَصْواتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ النَّبِي ... » ... و إن حرمته ميتا كحرمته حيا، فاستكان لها أبو جعفر و قال: يا أبا عبد الله أستقبل القبلة و أعوا أم أستقبل رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم؟ فقال: و لم تصرف وجهك عنه و هو وسيلتك و وسيلة أبيك آدم عليه السلام إلى الله تعالى يوم القيامة؟ بل استقبله و استشفع به فيشفعك الله تعالى، قال الله تعالى: «وَ لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ إِذْ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ جاؤُكَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا اللَّهَ ... »
'' O' the leader of the faithful! Do not raise your voice. God trained a tribe and bade '' do not raise your voice louder than the voice of the prophet''…respect the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) after his decease as you respected him when he was alive. Mansur Davanighi heard such remarks, accepted them and said to Malek '' O' Aba Abdullah! Should I pray facing to Mecca and back the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) or facing the grave of the prophet and facing the north? Malek said '' why do you want to turn away from the grave of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) that is intermediate for you and Adam toward God? If you pray facing the grave of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants and consider him an intermediate between God and you, God will definitely accept his intermediate. God bids when the opponents tyrannized themselves (and disobeyed the orders of God) if these opponents had come to you and sought forgiveness from God and the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) sought forgiveness for them, they would have found God kind and repentance accepter''.
Persons that have gone Medina and the prophet of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) have seen above the grave of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) this verse
«لا تَرْفَعُوا أَصْواتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ النَّبِي»
Because if you raise your voice, the policemen will hit you immediately and will prevent you from this job.
