Don't confuse the dish with famous Ghormeh Sabzi. The authentic cuisine is favorite to many Gilanis. Here is a quick recipe.
Ingredients
Parsley and leek, 250 g , altogether
Fresh lamb meat, 250 g
Black-eyed beans, 100 g
Tomato paste, 2 tablespoons
Unripe grape juice, 2 tablespoons
Oil for sauteing
Salt, pepper and turmeric for seasoning
Directions
First, cut the meat into small cubes ( stewing meat). Put inside a pot and fill with 2 glasses of water. Add in the beans as well and allow to cook.
In the meantime, wash the herbs properly and drain. Chop finely into tiny pieces. Put in oil in a pan and sauté for a couple of minutes, stirring occasionally.
Season to taste with salt, pepper and turmeric powder. Add in the tomato paste as well as the grape juice. Mix well. Transfer all the sautéed ingredients in the pan to the pot and allow 20 minutes till settled.
Serve hot with rice. As a drink put a pitcher of Doogh on the table. Bon Appetit!
