Among the fields that the West civilizations considers it as the most valuable and the most important component of itself and tries to challenge the origin of Islam and the Islamic revolution with that, is concept of freedom. Although the Islamic Republic in this area is oppressed, but the main achievements of the Islamic Revolution for establishment Freedom and development and institutionalization of it In Iran after the victory of the revolution is undeniable. Beyond this, Islamic principles and honest incentive of system to achieve the highest intellectual and political position and best performance of social and political about freedom, explains the necessity of the issue.

Principles and assumptions

Freedom and human:
If we know the will and authority as one of the most distinctive feature of human from other creatures, the crystallization of this characteristics is in freedom, therefore, freedom is a natural and fundamental needs of human and Without meeting this needs, He is not expected to excellence and growth. Human without freedom, Sees himself incomplete and perceives a lack in the essential part of his life.

Freedom and Islam:

Islam as the true religion of God, has recognized freedom of Humans like the rest of his natural needs and in its teachings, highest possible protection has done from the freedom of human. Basically, the aim of Islam is to release of human from the types of slavery and servitude and to bring him freedom and true Liberality.

Freedom and the Islamic Revolution:

The Islamic Revolution are formed based on attitudes and religious beliefs and so their aspirations are inspired by Islamic values. Based on the position that Islam is respect for true freedom of human, understandably one of the most important goals of The Islamic Revolution
has been the releasing of society from the coercion, humiliation, oppression and dependence and in the main slogans of the revolution, “Freedom" is quite obvious.

Freedom and Islamic Republic of Iran:

Emphasizes of Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran and explicit expressing of the leaders of the revolution and its authorities, indicates the value and role of freedom in the system which has raised from the Islamic revolutionary and is based on the principles and values of Islam. The second principle the Constitution tells that "Dignity and worth of the human and his freedom coupled with responsibility for God.” considers it as one of the basis of the theoretical and ideological in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Article IX Stipulates that any authority in the Islamic Republic of Iran cannot cancel "legitimate freedom". The third principle also indicates "providing the political and social freedoms within law" is one of the tasks of the government.

Freedom and progress:

All-round development of the country requires a favorable environment, social and political condition and the legitimate and responsible freedom, Along with security and independence is the main component of a favorable social condition. Some of these damages are considered in course of evolution in our society and more or less has thought to resolve it.

The duty of governance about expanding the legitimate freedom

In view of Islam, religious governance is responsible about preparation to establishing the proper atmosphere for political development and promoting social freedoms. Basically, the approach of religious governance, unlike some incorrect perceptions, Not only is not tough on people and threating of legitimate freedom, but is to create substrates for the growth of personality and promotion of their confidence. Pay attention to this theme is stipulated in Article III of the Constitution.
For progress toward favorable social freedom, attention to the three fundamental dimensions is require: philosophy of freedom, culture of freedom and liberation process.

The philosophy of freedom

Freedom is a sacred truth that in the human history always has been considered as a good idea and desired matter for the educated people and reformers community and seeking liberty is considered as an innate and human values. Freedom does not Means no obstacle in the way of human in the desired direction and his interest for anyone, is a main demands and desired instinctive. So no one is opposite with a sense of freedom which caused that he achieves to what he likes. The desirability and the importance of freedom has always provided theme for the abuse. While Islam knows the human freedom as a divine right and arising from monotheistic belief and has placed it in the best position and also the defense and protection of this right is considered as a personal and social responsibility and presents the best available samples in the context of Islamic society.

Culture of freedom

Desired freedom will not be achieved only with the law and regulations; especially according to view of Islam that knows the social freedom is the right of people that comes from God. Cultural dimension, educational and ethical besides the legal dimension has particular importance to ensure and expand social freedoms and efficiency of it in the path of progress and excellence. Cultural dimension, educational and ethical of freedom supports the right path of social freedoms and the continuation and deepening of it. Therefore, martyr Motahari knows that social freedom is associated with spiritual freedom and in the light of self-training. The emphasis would be necessary especially for our time that the indoctrination of corrupt culture of West and misleading advertising and related media to the arrogance and Zionism that seeks to highlight the freedom of sexual and sensual for the deviation in the path of development and progress of the Islamic community. For reforming, expansion and deepening of the culture of freedom should pay special attention to three areas and environment: Family environment, educational environment and managerial environmental.

The process of freedom:

In the process of freedom, three categories of law, implementation and monitoring is very important and each of them are supported by one of the three branches of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Law:

Thinkers has emphasized on the importance of freedom within the limits of the law and absolute freedom is not defensible beyond the legal framework. Essentially Montesquieu has defined

that freedom has been accepted within the provisions and the prohibition of the divine and rational. Today, our society has a constitution that with this provides basic infrastructure resources and the process of legitimate of law. Establishment and better growth of freedom can be achieved by removing the legal vacuum and clarification of ambiguous and complex rules and reforming the weak and incompetent laws in a way that prevents the discriminatory Interpreted and arbitrary of executors and referees, and if possible express framework of social freedom bright and clear.

Executing:

Good and efficient law is a law that design and approve with accessories and appropriate performance atmosphere or in the inner of law in such a realistic and effective way that these accessories is anticipated. Refine, reform, completion and clarify the rules related to social and political rights and freedoms, When will be effective that associated with strong executive guarantee and non-discrimination in the implementation and legal impact with the outlaws. Therefore, improvement of technical capabilities, Professional and ethical of executors is essential to prevent abuses. Some of the problems of lack of proper implementation of laws that related to freedoms, Because of not enough attention or neglect to the demands and operational conditions is on phase of legislation. The lack of approach of process to issues and topics, sometimes caused a complete break between "law", "executing" and "monitoring" that is also true in the case of freedom.
