Formation of usurper state of Israel had been started with some interesting trends during the life of Shoghi Effendi. On June 1922 Churchill published a text by the concept that the UK government is planning to build a National Association of Jews in Palestine. Following this announcement, Muslims strongly protested and a new wave of protests broke out, especially Israeli behavior with Muslims that led to their feelings being hurt and even it spread to the United Nations. On April second 1947, this issue was discussed in UN public session and a committee was formed dedicated to the question of Palestine. When considering the Committee's report, the nature of the groups and different governments and their actual positions and parties - including the Baha'is were identified. 14 July 1947, Shoghi Effendi wrote in a letter to the head of the UN Special Commission's head:
... Situation of the Bahá'ís in the country is somewhat unique because while Jerusalem is the spiritual center of the Christian world, the administrative center of the Roman Church is not with any other Christian religions and also though Jerusalem is considered as a point that it is one of the holiest places in Islamic authorities for Muslims, however, Center of Mohammadi holy faith to perform the obligatory of Hajj is in Saudi territory, not in Palestine. Jews are the only people whose interest in the Palestine is comparable to the Baha'is' interest in the country because the holy temple of them and its remains are in Jerusalem, and in the ancient history, it has been the center of their religious and political institutions....
The contents of the letter reflects Baha'is' interest well abut establishment of Zionist regime. When Shoghi Effendi stipulates that: "A lot of our followers were a descendant of Jews and Muslims", it is one of his greatest tricks to draw attention of the Jews; while at least for ten centuries, ancestors and fathers of leaders of Babi and Bahai were all Muslims, and all Baha'is - with the exception of a few ones – were from Muslims families in those days.
After 14 May 1948 CE, the British ended mandate in Palestine, and the National Council of Jewish was formed in Tel Aviv in the same day and formation of usurper state of Israel was proclaimed.
A few hours later, Truman (President of America) also recognized the usurper government.
Shoghi Effendi (fourth Baha'i leader) met Israel state and expressed Baha'is' friendship toward Israel and declared their hopes and prayers for the progress and prosperity of Israel. He expresses his exquisite view of the Baha'i community explicitly on the establishment of the State of Israel in Nowruz inscription 108.
The establishment of State of Israel was a divine promise of the Baha'i faith and according to Shoghi Effendi's qoute that Hussein Ali and Abbas Effendi had promised it! These long-standing relationships are revealed well by the usurper Israeli president. He had have meetings and negotiations with Abdul Baha when he was of with the Jewish Zionist leaders and followed Judaism in Palestine. While we know that those days there were intense conflicts between Zionism and Britain on the one hand, and the Arab Muslim peoples on the other hand. It was only Baha'is who had close relations with the United Kingdom on the one hand, and with brokers Jews in Palestine on the other hand; hence, the expression of Shoghi Effendi in the letter to the chairman of the Palestinian issue Commission has been due to the politics and conservatism which had declared neutrality towards English commissioners in Palestine. He knew it well that if Arab Muslims come to power and take Palestine's rule out of British control, of course, the Baha'i network, which had all kinds of cooperation with them, will be destroyed, and they will not be tolerated due to prescriptions of Islam and claims of new book and God's prophet by leaders of Babbitt, and they will not be willing to coexist with them, especially that the seal of the surrounding to foreign people was painted on their leaders' foreheads because it is certain that only Arab Muslims refused to compromise and any political joint life with Jewish immigrants. In contrast, fertile ground for the success of the Baha'is was provided, and they had the title "Sir" and undisputed support of the English. We cannot obliviously ignore the tablets and letters that Abbas Effendi wrote to celebrate the greatness of the British Empire and the colonization of Palestine and the deployment of English forces.
Baha'is have noticed all these problems that observed the Islamic manifestations in the Palestinian Territories; and they participated in Friday prayers and they never let their followers to advertise their companions in the Palestinian Territories. Baha'i interests could be protected only if it continued colonization in Palestine with England or Zionist start working as protector of the colonial interests of Britain and its heritage. Otherwise, the so called center of Baha'ism would have been dismantled, sooner or later, by the Arab Muslims and as a center of espionage and explicit hostility to the national interests of Muslims; hence, the Baha’ism did not say a word against the interests of Zionism in Palestine and the State of Israel and they were ready to do all forms of cooperation with Zionism in order to strengthen their relationship.
