Relationship between Israel and USA

Israel's decision based on linking their fate with the United States had certain consequences. Israel had to convince America that its vital interests in the region will be dependent on support from the regime; in other words, occupying regime must have shown that purposes such as protecting oil production, suppression of Arabic nationalism and preventing the spread of Russian influence in Middle East, while Israel become powerful in militarily and economically and become a dominant power in the Middle East, will be provided better. Making the belief in the Americans was not easy because America's support for Israel depended on cutting of the Arab world, and the Americans were well aware of the fact.
The Tel Aviv regime began his quest very seriously to achieve the goal. In fact, this regime took a big risk to become the dominant power in the region, and began a very high risk game which could lead to success just by financial and non-financial support of America. But Israel would not have this new strategy based on a special relationship that the Americans can drop it whenever they want. Israel regime had to take action at two levels to ensure this relationship: 1. in the level of creating deep foundations of the interests 2 at the political level.
In the first level Israelis tried to create a strong bond and feeling among Americans toward the regime. For this purpose Zionists resorted to various tricks which the most important of them was sufferings of the Jewish people. "Norman Ficken Stein" in his book "The Holocaust Industry" has shown that making Holocaust sacred or the genocide of the Jewish people began only after 1967, and they used the created pity feeling around this issue to stifle any kind of criticism against the Jews. Americans now fear to be accused as "anti-Semitism" if they do any criticism about Israel, and hence hardly anyone dares to criticize the Jews publicly.
Israel also expressed that as "a democratic government" will be attacked by the Palestinian and Arab terrorist. They offered two explanations or justification about Arabs: First, they said the Arab opposition is also a kind of "anti-Semitism" and is without reason as European anti-Semitism and is a spontaneous action, and secondly, they said that the Arabs are not able to modernize. In other words, the Israelis said that Arabs hate Israel because Israel is the only democratic free and progressive state in the region.
Zionist also founded "Jews organization of America" at the political level as well to strengthen pro-Israel policy in America. At the same time individual Jews continue to play their role differently in the two left and liberal wing, and Jewish organizations almost all are active intensely to receive the most support for Israel by putting pressure on the press, Congress and the President. In many states, Jewish vote, money, and press led to the orientation of the election's results in favor of the regime's candidates. In addition Jewish organizations strongly try to remove candidates critical of Israel, even mild critics from the scene.
In order to justify Israel's special relationship with America, a particular logic must be used to achieve success. The logic was followed in several ways. At first step as Jewish organizations tried to work for pushing America's policies toward Israeli regime, promoted their methods as well. Their first victory led to more Jewish support, which in turn brought even more successful. They took advantage of this logic in such a way that even temporary failures of Israel were treated in a way like they are good for it. Some who argue that the special relationship between America and Israel was created in 1967 following the victory of the Zionist state, must pay attention to the point that following defeat of Israel in 1973 - one year later- increased fivefold America's aid to the regime, and the figure eventually reached to 2.6 billion dollars. Egypt realized the problem and decided not to do anything to challenge the special relationship. After America promised Egypt to increase his assistance to the country to two billion dollars, Egypt signed a separate peace treaty with Israel. With this action, the main competitor of the regime, namely Egypt, was aside and consequently the Zionists domination over the Middle East was more secure.
Victory of Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979 increased the importance of the "special relationship" between Israel and America. The fall of the Shah of Iran, the second American dominant factor in the Middle East, increased Israeli influence on the politics of America. In addition, powering of Islamists in Iran raised the terror of the threat of Islam to the West. Israeli lobby, especially Middle East experts, sometimes provided evidence to show that the Islamic movement in the Middle East is not only is in conflict with America's policies in support of Israel, but is also opposite of America's total interests. The horrors of the Islamic Revolution gave strength to this interpretation.
The end of the Cold War in 1990 separated Israel and America's special relationship from their previous logic. Now Israel was forced to adopt a new procedure and release its existence for America and the West [in the context of the strategic equation]. This time the regime showed him as a barrier or crusher against the rising of Islamic fundamentalism.
