From various angles we can notice political behavior and action of Mirza Malcolm Khan and his interaction with the Nasser Al-Din Shah's system including closing Forgotten House. At the beginning we should consider the context of effort of Mirza Malcolm Khan. Mirza Malcolm Khan Armenian was studying in Paris since he was ten years old (1259 1-268 BC). When he traveled to Paris to sign a treaty along with Farokh khan Amin Al-Malek, joined Freemasonry with members of the Iranian delegation and ceremony of their membership was held in headquarters of the Grand Lodge Orion.
According Lambton, president of the first forgotten House, which was recognized by Masons of England and France, was Yaqub khan, father of Mirza Malcolm Khan. Most members of Forgotten House of Mirza Malek khan were former students of Dar Al-Funun (founded in Rabi Aval 1268 / December and January (1851, 1852). He states his goal of forming humanity Assembly, as he said to Wilfred Sekaven Blunt, author of the secret history of occupation of Egypt by Britain, and it is quoted by Lempton: "I have gone to Europe and I have studied its religious, social and political systems. I applied morale different sects of Christianity and varied societies and Freemasonry with Asian religious wisdom together. I knew that it is useless to reform Iran into the European model and I decided to disguise the content of my modifications in a way that my people can understand it. It was religious dress. "
After start of Malcolm Association in 1274 BC, the Forum closed on 12 Rabi Thaani 1278/19 October 1861 by Nasser Al-Din Shah and Yaqub Khan, Malkum Khan's father, was deported to Istanbul, but Mirza Malcolm Khan continued his activities for a while in Iran.
About the closure of forgotten House, one opinion is that Nasser Al-Din Shah did it in terms of authority and sense of danger from the area of such recently established institutions. But we can look into such issues from other angles as well. The above look does not prevent noticing other aspects of the issue that could deepen it. According to the first glimpse, although sense of danger of Nasser Al-Din Shah was the root of such authoritarian performance, but one must ask: was the sense of fear only on the basis of detailed reports of his courtiers and relatives about the et secret performance of Forgotten House of Malcolm Khan, without being aware of the existence of such international institution, or was he ignorant of him being newly converted to Islam? cannot we imagine that his familiarity with the institution and on the other hand, his knowledge of endeavors of newly converted to Islam Jews in Iran and Zionism world, can be more than what we think and more than historical reports? Can we forget that Yaqub Khan, newly converted to Islam father of Mirza Malcolm, was involved in promoting the murder of the Qaem Magham and Mirza Taqikhan Amirnezam and apart from spying for Britain, he has been a friend and close adviser of Mirza Aqa Khan? Can we ignore the mysterious activities including the mission of the Father and the Son in disguise of religion in Khorezm from the UK (Quoted by Malek khan Sassanid)? Nasser Al-Din Shah, though applied including the father and son, was he really unaware of the behavior and activities of such people and did not use these tips in political considerations?
On the one hand, it should be noted that the activities of Freemasonry of some contemporaries and predecessors were at least to some extent in the spotlight of Nasser Al-Din Shah, so that travelogues of former men of Iran such as Afshar Aromi and Mirza Abulhasan Ilchi and other internal writings pre Nasseri era had addressed Freemasonry issue and perhaps they were aware of such texts and contexts.
On the other hand, as it was mentioned briefly, the development of the World Wide network of Freemasonry started from a certain period in the world, including in neighboring countries such as India, the Ottoman Empire and Russia and was reinforced. This is one of the things that might highlight possibility of attention of the Nasser Al-Din Shah to the issue as it was more than three centuries that high-volume writings were published at least in Europe about the institution. Meanwhile, a powerful king such as Nasser Al-Din Shah, who was trying to have appropriate knowledge about the European countries, is likely to achieve relatively good information about and his partial knowledge about endeavors of Sassoons and Jews, who were looking to develop the global capitalist system, made him sensitive toward them, including their Bobby followers; as monitoring the trainings of Dar Al-Funun and reduction of his concern to the nascent Institute after the efforts of intellectuals and especially Mirza Malcolm Khan is worthy of reflection from this angle, although for certain political needs and requirements, Nasser Al-Din Shah kept The Armenian in his service on many occasions. Even if detailed familiarity of Nasser Al-Din Shah with the event is not accepted by us, his general introduction about illuminating warning of Haj Mullah Ali Kani by agents of Freemasonry and him getting feared and deciding to shut forgotten house is noteworthy in comparison with the passive glance of Pahlavi system.
In total, as many pointed out, neglect or new negative view of King was due to prevent the import of ideas of modernist; something that can be by relative knowledge of King of generality and new political ideas, particularly that he saw a link between their spread with the illuminated intellectual stream. Mokhberossaltaneh, who dealt with multiple Kings and benefited from Masonic activities as well, writes about the cause of the closure of the forgotten house and its impact: "In reality, three people are basically responsible in Iran's affairs: Mirza Aga Khan was involved in murder of Mirza Taqikhani Amir Kabir, Mahmoud Khan Nasserolmolk was involved in buying Clico plant from an old Russian woman that did not work and disappointed Nasser Al-Din Shah of passion establishing the factory, and Malcolm in the project of setup the forgotten house and map of Republic and Dar Al-Funun that we deprived of the benefits of development to revolution wish and the fault is greater in my opinion, a huge growth is background for ding young. Nayer Al-Molk and Adib Al-Dolleh quoted that Nasser Al-Din Shah always rode and went to see the school, he went to the rooms, encouraged students and gave them tip, and after the untimely action, he heard the name of the school by disgust and was convinced to keep calm in appearance. Later, Ali Qoli Mirza, my father, was education minister. They had said to him that he must run the Education Ministry, but do not read those kinds of books. We feel the result of those books today. We can build a Heaven out of world in words, but it becomes a hell in practice. Nasser Al-Din sent groups of student to Europe in the early times, and he said the point while choosing the moderator of the school, and after hindering opinions he prevented traveling abroad and was not ok with European education. This is the result of unnecessary measures and imitation of new corrupted imaginations. "
