In the following verse, exchangeability devote to water in the heaven;
مَّثَلُ الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِی وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ ۖ فِیهَا أَنْهَارٌ مِّن مَّاءٍ غَیْرِ آسِنٍ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِّن لَّبَنٍ لَّمْ یَتَغَیَّرْ طَعْمُهُ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِّنْ خَمْرٍ لَّذَّةٍ لِّلشَّارِبِینَ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِّنْ عَسَلٍ مُّصَفًّى ۖ وَلَهُمْ فِیهَا مِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ كَمَنْ هُوَ خَالِدٌ فِی النَّارِ وَسُقُوا مَاءً حَمِیمًا فَقَطَّعَ أَمْعَاءَهُمْ
Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear. In it there are for them all kinds of fruits; and Grace from their Lord. (Can those in such Bliss) be compared to such as shall dwell forever in the Fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels (to pieces).
In following verse, interpreters have said that covert is change of something to somethingelse;
فَبَدَّلَ الَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوا قَوْلًا غَیْرَ الَّذِی قِیلَ لَهُمْ فَأَنزَلْنَا عَلَى الَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوا رِجْزًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَا كَانُوا یَفْسُقُونَ
But the transgressors changed the word from that which had been given them; so We sent on the transgressors a plague from heaven, for that they infringed (Our command) repeatedly.

وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ یَا مُوسَىٰ لَن نَّصْبِرَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامٍ وَاحِدٍ فَادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ یُخْرِجْ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنبِتُ الْأَرْضُ مِن بَقْلِهَا وَقِثَّائِهَا وَفُومِهَا وَعَدَسِهَا وَبَصَلِهَا ۖ قَالَ أَتَسْتَبْدِلُونَ الَّذِی هُوَ أَدْنَىٰ بِالَّذِی هُوَ خَیْرٌ ۚ اهْبِطُوا مِصْرًا فَإِنَّ لَكُم مَّا سَأَلْتُمْ ۗ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَیْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ وَالْمَسْكَنَةُ وَبَاءُوا بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا یَكْفُرُونَ بِآیَاتِ اللَّهِ وَیَقْتُلُونَ النَّبِیِّینَ بِغَیْرِ الْحَقِّ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوا وَّكَانُوا یَعْتَدُونَ
And remember ye said: "O Moses! we cannot endure one kind of food (always); so beseech thy Lord for us to produce for us of what the earth groweth, -its pot-herbs, and cucumbers, Its garlic, lentils, and onions." He said: "Will ye exchange the better for the worse? Go ye down to any town, and ye shall find what ye want!" They were covered with humiliation and misery; they drew on themselves the wrath of Allah. This because they went on rejecting the Signs of Allah and slaying His Messengers without just cause. This because they rebelled and went on transgressing.
In the following verse, interpreters have said that ''estendal'' means exchange;
وَإِنْ أَرَدتُّمُ اسْتِبْدَالَ زَوْجٍ مَّكَانَ زَوْجٍ وَآتَیْتُمْ إِحْدَاهُنَّ قِنطَارًا فَلَا تَأْخُذُوا مِنْهُ شَیْئًا ۚ أَتَأْخُذُونَهُ بُهْتَانًا وَإِثْمًا مُّبِینًا
But if ye decide to take one wife in place of another, even if ye had given the latter a whole treasure for dower, Take not the least bit of it back: Would ye take it by slander and manifest wrong.
According to the following verse, interpreters have said that eblal means the change of the nature of something, but convert is the change of the appearance of something;
ثمَّ بَدَّلْنَا مَكَانَ السَّیِّئَةِ الْحَسَنَةَ حَتَّىٰ عَفَوا وَّقَالُوا قَدْ مَسَّ آبَاءَنَا الضَّرَّاءُ وَالسَّرَّاءُ فَأَخَذْنَاهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا یَشْعُرُونَ
Then We changed their suffering into prosperity, until they grew and multiplied, and began to say: "Our fathers (too) were touched by suffering and affluence" ... Behold! We called them to account of a sudden, while they realised not (their peril).
In the following verse, convert is locating something in another place;
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَیْهِمْ آیَاتُنَا بَیِّنَاتٍ ۙ قَالَ الَّذِینَ لَا یَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا ائْتِ بِقُرْآنٍ غَیْرِ هَٰذَا أَوْ بَدِّلْهُ ۚ قُلْ مَا یَكُونُ لِی أَنْ أُبَدِّلَهُ مِن تِلْقَاءِ نَفْسِی ۖ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا یُوحَىٰ إِلَیَّ ۖ إِنِّی أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَیْتُ رَبِّی عَذَابَ یَوْمٍ عَظِیمٍ
But when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed unto them, those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, Say: "Bring us a reading other than this, or change this," Say: "It is not for me, of my own accord, to change it: I follow naught but what is revealed unto me: if I were to disobey my Lord, I should myself fear the penalty of a Great Day (to come).
سُنَّةَ مَن قَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِن رُّسُلِنَا ۖ وَلَا تَجِدُ لِسُنَّتِنَا تَحْوِیلًا
(This was Our) way with the messengers We sent before thee: thou wilt find no change in Our ways.
قُلِ ادْعُوا الَّذِینَ زَعَمْتُم مِّن دُونِهِ فَلَا یَمْلِكُونَ كَشْفَ الضُّرِّ عَنكُمْ وَلَا تَحْوِیلًا
Say: "Call on those - besides Him - whom ye fancy: they have neither the power to remove your troubles from you nor to change them.
اسْتِكْبَارًا فِی الْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ السَّیِّئِ ۚ وَلَا یَحِیقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّیِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ ۚ فَهَلْ یَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ الْأَوَّلِینَ ۚ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِیلًا ۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِیلًا
On account of their arrogance in the land and their plotting of Evil, but the plotting of Evil will hem in only the authors thereof. Now are they but looking for the way the ancients were dealt with? But no change wilt thou find in Allah´s way (of dealing): no turning off wilt thou find in Allah´s way (of dealing).
خَالِدِینَ فِیهَا لَا یَبْغُونَ عَنْهَا حِوَلًا
.Wherein they shall dwell (for aye): no change will they wish for from them
أَوْ كَالَّذِی مَرَّ عَلَىٰ قَرْیَةٍ وَهِیَ خَاوِیَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا قَالَ أَنَّىٰ یُحْیِی هَٰذِهِ اللَّهُ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۖ فَأَمَاتَهُ اللَّهُ مِائَةَ عَامٍ ثُمَّ بَعَثَهُ ۖ قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتَ ۖ قَالَ لَبِثْتُ یَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ یَوْمٍ ۖ قَالَ بَل لَّبِثْتَ مِائَةَ عَامٍ فَانظُرْ إِلَىٰ طَعَامِكَ وَشَرَابِكَ لَمْ یَتَسَنَّهْ ۖ وَانظُرْ إِلَىٰ حِمَارِكَ وَلِنَجْعَلَكَ آیَةً لِّلنَّاسِ ۖ وَانظُرْ إِلَى الْعِظَامِ كَیْفَ نُنشِزُهَا ثُمَّ نَكْسُوهَا لَحْمًا ۚ فَلَمَّا تَبَیَّنَ لَهُ قَالَ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیرٌ
Or (take) the similitude of one who passed by a hamlet, all in ruins to its roofs. He said: "Oh! how shall Allah bring it (ever) to life, after (this) its death?" but Allah caused him to die for a hundred years, then raised him up (again). He said: "How long didst thou tarry (thus)?" He said: (Perhaps) a day or part of a day." He said: "Nay, thou hast tarried thus a hundred years; but look at thy food and thy drink; they show no signs of age; and look at thy donkey: And that We may make of thee a sign unto the people, Look further at the bones, how We bring them together and clothe them with flesh." When this was shown clearly to him, he said: "I know that Allah hath power over all things''.
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ یَكُ مُغَیِّرًا نِّعْمَةً أَنْعَمَهَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ یُغَیِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۙ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِیعٌ عَلِیمٌ
"Because Allah will never change the grace which He hath bestowed on a people until they change what is in their (own) souls: and verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).
In the following verses, the subject of asen, ebdal, deliver, tasnne, change is God or human;
نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَاهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَا أَسْرَهُمْ ۖ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَا أَمْثَالَهُمْ تَبْدِیلًا
It is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change.
إِلَّا تَنفِرُوا یُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِیمًا وَیَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَیْرَكُمْ وَلَا تَضُرُّوهُ شَیْئًا ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیرٌ
Unless ye go forth, He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place; but Him ye would not harm in the least. For Allah hath power over all things.
عَسَىٰ رَبُّنَا أَن یُبْدِلَنَا خَیْرًا مِّنْهَا إِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا رَاغِبُونَ
It may be that our Lord will give us in exchange a better (garden) than this: for we do turn to Him (in repentance).
أَرَأَیْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُ هَوَاهُ أَفَأَنتَ تَكُونُ عَلَیْهِ وَكِیلًا
Seest thou such a one as taketh for his god his own passion (or impulse)? Couldst thou be a disposer of affairs for him?
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ یَكُ مُغَیِّرًا نِّعْمَةً أَنْعَمَهَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ یُغَیِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۙ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِیعٌ عَلِیمٌ
"Because Allah will never change the grace which He hath bestowed on a people until they change what is in their (own) souls: and verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).

فَمَن بَدَّلَهُ بَعْدَمَا سَمِعَهُ فَإِنَّمَا إِثْمُهُ عَلَى الَّذِینَ یُبَدِّلُونَهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِیعٌ عَلِیمٌ
If anyone changes the bequest after hearing it, the guilt shall be on those who make the change. For Allah hears and knows (All things).
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ یَكُ مُغَیِّرًا نِّعْمَةً أَنْعَمَهَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ یُغَیِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۙ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِیعٌ عَلِیمٌ
"Because Allah will never change the grace which He hath bestowed on a people until they change what is in their (own) souls: and verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).
فَإِنْ حَاجُّوكَ فَقُلْ أَسْلَمْتُ وَجْهِیَ لِلَّهِ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِ ۗ وَقُل لِّلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ وَالْأُمِّیِّینَ أَأَسْلَمْتُمْ ۚ فَإِنْ أَسْلَمُوا فَقَدِ اهْتَدَوا ۖ وَّإِن تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّمَا عَلَیْكَ الْبَلَاغُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بَصِیرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ
So if they dispute with thee, say: "I have submitted My whole self to Allah and so have those who follow me." And say to the People of the Book and to those who are unlearned: "Do ye (also) submit yourselves?" If they do, they are in right guidance, but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah´s sight are (all) His servants.
لَهُ مُعَقِّبَاتٌ مِّن بَیْنِ یَدَیْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ یَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا یُغَیِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ یُغَیِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۗ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ سُوءًا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُ ۚ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِ مِن وَالٍ
For each (such person) there are (angels) in succession, before and behind him: They guard him by command of Allah. Allah does not change a people´s lot unless they change what is in their hearts. But when (once) Allah willeth a people´s punishment, there can be no turning it back, nor will they find, besides Him, any to protect.
یَا أَیُّهَا الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا لَا یَحِلُّ لَكُمْ أَن تَرِثُوا النِّسَاءَ كَرْهًا ۖ وَلَا تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ لِتَذْهَبُوا بِبَعْضِ مَا آتَیْتُمُوهُنَّ إِلَّا أَن یَأْتِینَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَیِّنَةٍ ۚ وَعَاشِرُوهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ۚ فَإِن كَرِهْتُمُوهُنَّ فَعَسَىٰ أَن تَكْرَهُوا شَیْئًا وَیَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ فِیهِ خَیْرًا كَثِیرً
O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them with harshness, that ye may Take away part of the dower ye have given them,-except where they have been guilty of open lewdness; on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and Allah brings about through it a great deal of good.
وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ وَلَأُمَنِّیَنَّهُمْ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَیُبَتِّكُنَّ آذَانَ الْأَنْعَامِ وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَیُغَیِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن یَتَّخِذِ الشَّیْطَانَ وَلِیًّا مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًا مُّبِینًا
I will mislead them, and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created by Allah." Whoever, forsaking Allah, takes satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest.
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِینَ بَدَّلُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ كُفْرًا وَأَحَلُّوا قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ الْبَوَارِ
Hast thou not turned thy vision to those who have changed the favour of Allah. Into blasphemy and caused their people to descend to the House of Perdition.
