The only remaining watermill out of 17 mills is located on the sextet flumes, 20 kilometers southwest away of Yazd in Taft city, and 75-year-old miller and his for fathers who have been engaged in this profession is stating that this flume is more than 200 years old.
The mill has its own special atmosphere and attracts people who are coming to visit the place. Simplicity of the mill, honesty of the miller, satisfaction and self-esteem of the patrons, and finally the breakdown of the silence of the space inside the mill with the roar of water from the stokehole attacks to the blade wheels of mill is one the attractions of the mill.
Seeing these remnants of life which are away from machine life are worthy.
