In this writing, the recognition of the damages of the religion in Quran will be discussed.
First: doubt in the religion
''قُلْ یَا أَیُّهَا النَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمْ فِی شَكٍّ مِّن دِینِی فَلَا أَعْبُدُ الَّذِینَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنْ أَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ الَّذِی یَتَوَفَّاكُمْ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ''
''Say: "O ye men! If ye are in doubt as to my religion, (behold!) I worship not what ye worship, other than Allah! But I worship Allah - Who will take your souls (at death): I am commanded to be (in the ranks) of the Believer''.
The polytheists were trying to eradicate the religion of Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and they were hopeful that they could prevent him from inviting others toward monotheism and leaving other Gods. Therefore, the meaning of the verse is that if you are doubtful whether I insist on the religion that I summon or you are doubtful about what my religion is and what my motivation and main root of my invitation are, I will express it to you clearly and say that I never worship your Gods and worship only exalted God.
The second: renegade from the religion
The conception of renegade from the religion have been expressed three times in Quran in two verses as the collocation of the word '' religion (two times in Baqarah Surah in verse 217 and once in Maede Surah in verse 54;
''یَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ قِتَالٍ فِیهِ ۖ قُلْ قِتَالٌ فِیهِ كَبِیرٌ ۖ وَصَدٌّ عَن سَبِیلِ اللَّهِ وَكُفْرٌ بِهِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَإِخْرَاجُ أَهْلِهِ مِنْهُ أَكْبَرُ عِندَ اللَّهِ ۚ وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَكْبَرُ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ ۗ وَلَا یَزَالُونَ یُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ حَتَّىٰ یَرُدُّوكُمْ عَن دِینِكُمْ إِنِ اسْتَطَاعُوا ۚ وَمَن یَرْتَدِدْ مِنكُمْ عَن دِینِهِ فَیَمُتْ وَهُوَ كَافِرٌ فَأُولَٰئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِی الدُّنْیَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِیهَا خَالِدُونَ''
''They ask thee concerning fighting in the Prohibited Month. Say: "Fighting therein is a grave (offence); but graver is it in the sight of Allah to prevent access to the path of Allah, to deny Him, to prevent access to the Sacred Mosque, and drive out its members." Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter. Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can. And if any of you Turn back from their faith and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life and in the Hereafter; they will be companions of the Fire and will abide therein''.
The above verse observes actions that result from wisdom and faithful volition and its effects are limited to the world because the actions of human represent intention, wisdom and volition and if the source of intention is higher and more complete, the effect and reflection of actions will be more and more extended. If forces and natural incentives have more force, their waves and reflections will be more effective and more extended. The source of animal actions that are the force of life and production will have more strong of production and survival than natural actions. Moreover, more strongly, actions that result from intention and volition are shown as bad and good actions according to the power of wisdom, picture and evaluation and they have legal effects. If actions of human result from faith in God and beliefs, their effects will pass beyond the nature and they will remain permanent. Quran considers the source of faith in God and good actions the heaven and Quran announces that good and evil actions that do not result from faith in God will not remain permanent and they will be lost in the world and among its opposite factors. When the death of such persons arrives and leave the world with blasphemy, their actions will be lost;
''وَمَن یَرْتَدِدْ مِنكُمْ عَن دِینِهِ ''
Actions from blasphemy that are done for the world and lusts will lead to the hell nothing else;
''وَأُوْلَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِیهَا خَالِدُونَ''
''یَا أَیُّهَا الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا مَن یَرْتَدَّ مِنكُمْ عَن دِینِهِ فَسَوْفَ یَأْتِی اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ یُحِبُّهُمْ وَیُحِبُّونَهُ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِینَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الْكَافِرِینَ یُجَاهِدُونَ فِی سَبِیلِ اللَّهِ وَلَا یَخَافُونَ لَوْمَةَ لَائِمٍ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ یُؤْتِیهِ مَن یَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِیمٌ''
''O ye who believe! if any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him,- lowly with the believers, mighty against the rejecters, fighting in the way of Allah, and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault. That is the grace of Allah, which He will bestow on whom He pleaseth. And Allah encompasseth all, and He knoweth all things''.
Allame Tabatabaei writes about the above verse '' if a person that is devout becomes an unbeliever or a person that is an unbeliever and then he or she becomes devout, they will be called '' '' national renegade'' and '' natural renegade'' respectively. The sacred verse wants to announce the power of immaculate God about being worshipped and God can create situations and people that he can be worshipped forever; if the people on the earth worship him, there will be no problems, but if they do not worship him, he will create other nations that are in line with his religion and they do not become renegade from the religion of God. In conclusion, the sacred verse says same matters that the following verses are going to express
''فَإِن یَكْفُرْ بِهَا هَؤُلاء فَقَدْ وَكَّلْنَا بِهَا قَوْمًا لَّیْسُواْ بِهَا بِكَافِرِینَ''، «وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ الله غَنِیٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِینَ»، «إِن تَكْفُرُواْ أَنتُمْ وَمَن فِی الأَرْضِ جَمِیعًا فَإِنَّ اللّهَ لَغَنِیٌّ حَمِیدٌ''
''وَإِذَا لَقُواْ الَّذِینَ آمَنُواْ قَالُواْ آمَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلاَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىَ بَعْضٍ قَالُواْ أَتُحَدِّثُونَهُم بِمَا فَتَحَ اللّهُ عَلَیْكُمْ لِیُحَآجُّوكُم بِهِ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ؟ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ؟ أَوَلاَ یَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ اللّهَ یَعْلَمُ مَا یُسِرُّونَ وَمَا یُعْلِنُونَ''
Third: arrogance in the religion
''ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لَن تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ إِلَّا أَیَّامًا مَّعْدُودَاتٍ ۖ وَغَرَّهُمْ فِی دِینِهِم مَّا كَانُوا یَفْتَرُونَ''
''This because they say: "The Fire shall not touch us but for a few numbered days": For their forgeries deceive them as to their own religion''.
The meaning of the above verse is clear, but there is a question '' how did Sunnis deceive from their insulting and they are arrogant about it? Is it possible that a person deceives from his or her remarks? Their remarks are lie, false and conspiracy. The answer of this question is that the arrogant talkers were their ancestors and their next generations were deceived. Moreover, they became arrogant because of a false insulting. Exalted God narrates these kinds of thoughts and actions and even more strange than them and he states
''إِذْ یَقُولُ الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالَّذِینَ فِی قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ غَرَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ دِینُهُمْ ۗ وَمَن یَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِیزٌ حَكِیمٌ''
''Lo! the hypocrites say, and those in whose hearts is a disease: "These people,- their religion has misled them." But if any trust in Allah, behold! Allah is Exalted in might, Wise''.
Moreover, whatever a person does is not according to whatever he or she knows. But according to it, there are the angels of good and bad actions that are created in their soul and decorate actions in their imaginations as addicted persons know that they should give up addicted drugs, but they commit them because there is a mood in their soul that incites them to do them and it does not let them have a chance to think and avoid them and they do any actions according to their desires. As a consequence, insulting God that is their habit causes that they become arrogant and because they do this action several times, they gain high self-confidence and psychologists have proved that self-reinforcement causes that an action can be done and the action appears the effects of science. Therefore, since insulting is a false action, their repetition deceived them in their religion and prevented them to surrender against God and humility out against true remarks that the book of God includes. Hence, it is appropriate to say that Sunnis deceived their desires;
It has been expressed in the book '' Tafsir Nemune'' about the above verse that God refers to the agreement of the supporters of the troop of blasphemy and idolism in Badr War and says '' in this war the hypocrites said '' these Muslims have been arrogant about their religion and have stepped into the dangerous battlefield with few forces and armies that lead to their death and imagine that they can win or are murdered in the path of God and achieve perpetual life. Due to lack of faith in God, lack of awareness of the favors of God and of unseen assistances from God, they do not know this reality that if a person rests on God and applies of all of his or her forces in the path of God, God will assist him or her. God is powerful and none cannot tolerate against him or her and he is sagacious and he never leaves his friends and persons that fight in the path of God alone;
''وَمَن یَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّهِ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ عَزِیزٌ حَكِیمٌ''
Fourth: exaggeration in the religion
One of other collocation conceptions of the word '' religion'' in Quran is the conception of exaggeration. This conception in two verses as the collocation conception of the word '' religion'' has been mentioned.
''یَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لَا تَغْلُوا فِی دِینِكُمْ وَلَا تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْحَقَّ ۚ إِنَّمَا الْمَسِیحُ عِیسَى ابْنُ مَرْیَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَىٰ مَرْیَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِّنْهُ ۖ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ ۖ وَلَا تَقُولُوا ثَلَاثَةٌ ۚ انتَهُوا خَیْرًا لَّكُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا اللَّهُ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ سُبْحَانَهُ أَن یَكُونَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ ۘ لَّهُ مَا فِی السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِی الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِیلًا''
''O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs''.
The matter '' exaggeration'' about Imams is one of the most important sources of deviation in the heaven religions. Since human is interested in himself or herself, he or she would like that he or she exhibits that his or her Imams and leaders are greater than what they are so that their greatness can be more as well. Sometimes, it is imagined that exaggeration about Imams is the sign of faith in them and love and affection toward them. Exaggeration can be followed with a great defect and it spoils the main root of the religion, God worshipping and monotheism. Therefore, Islam has stood against it strongly and such persons have been introduced as the worst polytheists in the books of beliefs and jurisprudence.
''قُلْ یَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لَا تَغْلُوا فِی دِینِكُمْ غَیْرَ الْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا أَهْوَاءَ قَوْمٍ قَدْ ضَلُّوا مِن قَبْلُ وَأَضَلُّوا كَثِیرًا وَضَلُّوا عَن سَوَاءِ السَّبِیلِ''
''Say: "O people of the Book! exceed not in your religion the bounds (of what is proper), trespassing beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of people who went wrong in times gone by,- who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the even way''.
Fifth: sarcasm in the religion
''مِّنَ الَّذِینَ هَادُوا یُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِ وَیَقُولُونَ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَیْنَا وَاسْمَعْ غَیْرَ مُسْمَعٍ وَرَاعِنَا لَیًّا بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ وَطَعْنًا فِی الدِّینِ ۚ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاسْمَعْ وَانظُرْنَا لَكَانَ خَیْرًا لَّهُمْ وَأَقْوَمَ وَلَٰكِن لَّعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ''
''''Of the Jews there are those who displace words from their (right) places, and say: "We hear and we disobey"; and "Hear what is not Heard"; and "Ra´ina"; with a twist of their tongues and a slander to Faith. If only they had said: "What hear and we obey"; and "Do hear"; and "Do look at us"; it would have been better for them, and more proper; but Allah hath cursed them for their Unbelief; and but few of them will believe''.
Ibn Ashur writes in the books '' Al-Tahrir'' and '' Al-Tanvir''
''إنما کان قولهم (طَعْنًا فِی الدِّینِ)، لانّهم أضمروا فی کلامهم قصدا خبیثا فکانوا یقولون لإخوانهم و من یلیهم من حدیثی العهد بالإیمان: لو کان محمّد رسولا لعلم ما أردنا بقولنا، فلذلک فضحهم الله بهذه الآیة و نظائرها''
'' Their remark was sarcasm in the religion because they had hidden devil intention in their remarks and said to their friends and whoever followed them '' if Muhammad was the messenger of God, he would know what our purpose is from these remarks''. Therefore, God dishonored them what this verse and verses like them were descended.
''وَإِن نَّكَثُوا أَیْمَانَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ عَهْدِهِمْ وَطَعَنُوا فِی دِینِكُمْ فَقَاتِلُوا أَئِمَّةَ الْكُفْرِ ۙ إِنَّهُمْ لَا أَیْمَانَ لَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَنتَهُونَ''
''But if they violate their oaths after their covenant, and taunt you for your Faith,- fight ye the chiefs of Unfaith: for their oaths are nothing to them: that thus they may be restrained''.
''و عطف وَطَعَنُواْ فِی دِینِكُمْ عطف قسیم علی قسیمه، فالو او فیه بمعنی (أو). فإنّه إذا حصل أحد هذین الفعلین: الذین هما نکث الأیمان و الطعن فی الدین، کان حصول أحدهما موجبا لقتالهم، أی دون مصالحة و لا عهد و لا هدنة بعد ذلک و ذکر طعنهم فی دین المسلمین ینبیء بأنّ ذلک الطعن کان من دأبهم فی مدّة المعاهدة، فأرید صدّهم عن العود إلیه. و لم أقف علی أنّه کان مشروطا علی المشرکین فی عقود المصالحة و المعاهدة مع المسلمین أن لا یطعنوا فی الإسلام، فی غیر هذه الآیة، فکان هذا شرطا علیهم
من بعد، لأنّ المسلمین أصبحوا فی قوة ''
'' If breaking promise or sarcasm is implemented in the religion, it will lead to war and then there will be no peace and commitment. Their sarcasm to the religion of Muslims represent that this kind of sarcasm during their promise and treaty was one of their habits. Hence, Quran has wanted to prevent them from such behaviors. A part from these verse, I did not see any cases that polytheists had bet with Muslims that they did not behave in a sarcastic way with Muslims due to their religion. Hence, this bet happened after this time because Muslims were powerful in that time.
Sixth: Labes in the religion
''وَكَذَٰلِكَ زَیَّنَ لِكَثِیرٍ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِینَ قَتْلَ أَوْلَادِهِمْ شُرَكَاؤُهُمْ لِیُرْدُوهُمْ وَلِیَلْبِسُوا عَلَیْهِمْ دِینَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا فَعَلُوهُ ۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا یَفْتَرُونَ''
''Even so, in the eyes of most of the pagans, their "partners" made alluring the slaughter of their children, in order to lead them to their own destruction, and cause confusion in their religion. If Allah had willed, they would not have done so: But leave alone them and their inventions ''.
The right religion is an active weapon against tyrant persons. Hence, deviating people is the main purpose of tyrant persons. Powerful God can eradicate of the tyrant person with his power, but as long as people are not aware and do not think that they can get rid of the paw of the tyrant persons, God will not eradicate them. The way of freedom is to violate polytheistic culture that tells a lie to exalted God. If polytheistic manner is formed in the society, its deviation will be more and more.
Seventh: insulting the religion
''ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لَن تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ إِلَّا أَیَّامًا مَّعْدُودَاتٍ ۖ وَغَرَّهُمْ فِی دِینِهِم مَّا كَانُوا یَفْتَرُونَ''

8. Ridiculing at the religion
One of the conceptions of the collocation of the religion in Quran is to ridicule at the religion. This word is the collocation of the religion in three verses of Quran.
''وَذَرِ الَّذِینَ اتَّخَذُوا دِینَهُمْ لَعِبًا وَلَهْوًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَیَاةُ الدُّنْیَا ۚ وَذَكِّرْ بِهِ أَن تُبْسَلَ نَفْسٌ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ لَیْسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلِیٌّ وَلَا شَفِیعٌ وَإِن تَعْدِلْ كُلَّ عَدْلٍ لَّا یُؤْخَذْ مِنْهَا ۗ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِینَ أُبْسِلُوا بِمَا كَسَبُوا ۖ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِیمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِیمٌ بِمَا كَانُوا یَكْفُرُونَ''
''Leave alone those who take their religion to be mere play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. But proclaim (to them) this (truth): that every soul delivers itself to ruin by its own acts: it will find for itself no protector or intercessor except Allah: if it offered every ransom, (or reparation), none will be accepted: such is (the end of) those who deliver themselves to ruin by their own acts: they will have for drink (only) boiling water, and for punishment, one most grievous: for they persisted in rejecting Allah''.
God addresses believers through addressing his messenger and orders them to avoid persons that are drowned into the desires of the world because they are not looking for group mission that looks at the life with the sense of responsibility, but they have ridiculed at their religion that is the path of their life and this condition is observed in all of their relationships, trades and their specific and general conditions. Hence, when such persons are invited to the religion, they do not face to any thoughts, but they deal with ridiculing and humiliation and the life has deceived them and they have surrendered against its lusts and deceptions, have entertained in it and have drowned in to the sea of pleasures that covers their mind and thought.
''الَّذِینَ اتَّخَذُوا دِینَهُمْ لَهْوًا وَلَعِبًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَیَاةُ الدُّنْیَا ۚ فَالْیَوْمَ نَنسَاهُمْ كَمَا نَسُوا لِقَاءَ یَوْمِهِمْ هَٰذَا وَمَا كَانُوا بِآیَاتِنَا یَجْحَدُونَ''
''Such as took their religion to be mere amusement and play, and were deceived by the life of the world." That day shall We forget them as they forgot the meeting of this day of theirs, and as they were wont to reject Our signs''
It has been expressed in '' the interpretation of Ahsan Al-Hadith'' about the above that it describes unbelievers. It turns out that the religion is a school and a real path and we can achieve God through it. If a person considers an entertaining, preventive and fanciful factor, he or she will not achieve God and worshipping except God is same torture and fire. The factor of such friendship is the pleasures of the world. Purpose from forgetfulness in the above verse in both cases is that we do not pay enough attention. Today we do no pay attention to them and as they have not paid attention to seeing this day. In spite of the fact that they knew our verses, they denied them. The reason of torturing is same lack of attention and denial. It should be also mentioned that ridiculing at the religion is same lack of attention and forgetfulness.
''یَا أَیُّهَا الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الَّذِینَ اتَّخَذُوا دِینَكُمْ هُزُوًا وَلَعِبًا مِّنَ الَّذِینَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَالْكُفَّارَ أَوْلِیَاءَ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِینَ''
''O ye who believe! take not for friends and protectors those who take your religion for a mockery or sport,- whether among those who received the Scripture before you, or among those who reject Faith; but fear ye Allah, if ye have faith (indeed)''.
A clear interpretation about the meaning of this verse has been expressed that the words '' Hazv and Haze'' are gerunds and mean humiliation and meanness. The word '' Lab'' is infinitive and is an action and a promise and there are not intellectual and useful purposes. God sates '' persons that have humiliated the rules of your life and your religion and have ridiculed at it should not be permitted to interfere into the affairs of your life because they will judge about you according to their thoughts and beliefs. However, you should believe in God and divine rules and should consider exalted God, his messenger and believers as the guardians of your affairs; '' how can you consider opponents and enemies as the guardians of your affairs and disintegrate the basis of divine and true rules. In this part, Sunnis are prior to polytheists because they have more relationship with Muslims and they are under attention from political aspects. The animosity of unbelievers and Sunnis with Muslims are from divine rules and religion; otherwise, they do not have disagreement with other persons. Therefore, their guardianship over Muslims will lead to the weakness of the Islam directly and this meaning is common in all cases of the disagreement of Muslims with other nations.
Ninth: the use of the opponents of the religion from the religion
''وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ذَرُونِی أَقْتُلْ مُوسَىٰ وَلْیَدْعُ رَبَّهُ ۖ إِنِّی أَخَافُ أَن یُبَدِّلَ دِینَكُمْ أَوْ أَن یُظْهِرَ فِی الْأَرْضِ الْفَسَادَ''
''Said Pharaoh: "Leave me to slay Moses; and let him call on his Lord! What I fear is lest he should change your religion, or lest he should cause mischief to appear in the land''
Freon said to people '' I fear that Musa changes your religion to his own religion'' whereas he was the root of corruption and expressed '' Hazrat Musa want to establish corruption on the earth with eradicating your religion and making discord among you. The strange and interesting point is the reason of Freon about this matter. Of course, this way had been repeated by Freon's against benevolent persons that tried in the favor of the community in different places during the history and they introduced false path as right path and realities as corruptions to people so that they made such benevolent persons fear that they usurped their right from tyrant persons.
''وَكَذَٰلِكَ زَیَّنَ لِكَثِیرٍ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِینَ قَتْلَ أَوْلَادِهِمْ شُرَكَاؤُهُمْ لِیُرْدُوهُمْ وَلِیَلْبِسُوا عَلَیْهِمْ دِینَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا فَعَلُوهُ ۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا یَفْتَرُونَ''
''Even so, in the eyes of most of the pagans, their "partners" made alluring the slaughter of their children, in order to lead them to their own destruction, and cause confusion in their religion. If Allah had willed, they would not have done so: But leave alone them and their inventions''.
The right religion is an active weapon against tyrant persons. Hence, deviating people is the main purpose of tyrant persons. Powerful God can eradicate of the tyrant person with his power, but as long as people are not aware and do not think that they can get rid of the paw of the tyrant persons, God will not eradicate them. The way of freedom is to violate polytheistic culture that tells a lie to exalted God. If polytheistic manner is formed in the society, its deviation will be more and more.
Tenth: unnecessary affection in the religion
''الزَّانِیَةُ وَالزَّانِی فَاجْلِدُوا كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا مِائَةَ جَلْدَةٍ ۖ وَلَا تَأْخُذْكُم بِهِمَا رَأْفَةٌ فِی دِینِ اللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْیَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۖ وَلْیَشْهَدْ عَذَابَهُمَا طَائِفَةٌ مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ''
''The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment''.
Feeling sorry for a person that is deserved to be tortured causes that his or her torturing is simplified; as a consequence, they consider less torture for him or her or generally they ignore torturing him or her. Some interpreters have expressed that purpose from the religion of God is the rule of God. The meaning of the following verse is that you should not have affection in implementing the rule of God.
The eleventh: making the religion into different components and disagreement about it
''إِنَّ الَّذِینَ فَرَّقُوا دِینَهُمْ وَكَانُوا شِیَعًا لَّسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِی شَیْءٍ ۚ إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ ثُمَّ یُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا یَفْعَلُونَ''
''As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, thou hast no part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah: He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did''
The general meaning of the verse is to make disagreement and discord in the religion from desires and lust and the prophet of the Islam (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) hates anyone that steps in this path. The purpose of the verse is to express that these persons are not the companions of the religion because if they believed and respected the religion, they would not make discord about it. We can understand from this matter that thought that had been common among Muslims for their purposes and benefits and weakened the Islam was inappropriate and abolished because it caused riot and disagreement in the society and everyone was trying to attribute his way to the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). Hence, verses states with addressing the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants);
''لَّسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِی شَیْءٍ إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُمْ إِلَى اللّهِ''
God prevented the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) from Jewish and Nesari and ordered them to avoid them and be with believers that are accompanying you in the right path.
''مِنَ الَّذِینَ فَرَّقُوا دِینَهُمْ وَكَانُوا شِیَعًا ۖ كُلُّ حِزْبٍ بِمَا لَدَیْهِمْ فَرِحُونَ''
''Those who split up their Religion, and become (mere) Sects,- each party rejoicing in that which is with itself''.
Tabatabaei states about the above verse that purpose from persons that dispersed their religion is polytheists. In this sentence, he has introduced polytheists as the most personal attributes that they have in the religion and it is '' they have discord in their religion and are in groups and each part is happy about his religion and its reason is that he already stated
'' بَلِ اتَّبَعَ الَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوا أَهْوَاءَهُم بِغَیْرِ عِلْمٍ فَمَن یَهْدِی مَنْ أَضَلَّ اللَّهُ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِینَ''
He expressed that the polytheist had founded the basis of their religion as their desires and lusts and God did not guide them and there was not another leader except him. It is clear that the desires of persons are not equal, but they do not remain permanent in a mood and if such a thing is not the basis of the religion, it is clear that the religion passed along with them and they become mean with the declination of desires. Therefore, there is not any difference between true religion and false religion because the religion is false when its basis is desires and lusts. Hence, prevention from discord in the religion is that we prevent from considering lusts and desires instead of wisdom as the basis of the religion.
''شَرَعَ لَكُم مِّنَ الدِّینِ مَا وَصَّىٰ بِهِ نُوحًا وَالَّذِی أَوْحَیْنَا إِلَیْكَ وَمَا وَصَّیْنَا بِهِ إِبْرَاهِیمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِیسَىٰ ۖ أَنْ أَقِیمُوا الدِّینَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا فِیهِ ۚ كَبُرَ عَلَى الْمُشْرِكِینَ مَا تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَیْهِ ۚ اللَّهُ یَجْتَبِی إِلَیْهِ مَن یَشَاءُ وَیَهْدِی إِلَیْهِ مَن یُنِیبُ''
''The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: Namely, that ye should remain steadfast in religion, and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things than Allah, hard is the (way) to which thou callest them. Allah chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him)''.
''وَمَا تَفَرَّقُوا إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْیًا بَیْنَهُمْ ۚ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى لَّقُضِیَ بَیْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّ الَّذِینَ أُورِثُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ لَفِی شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مُرِیبٍ''
''And they became divided only after Knowledge reached them,- through selfish envy as between themselves. Had it not been for a Word that went forth before from thy Lord, (tending) to a Term appointed, the matter would have been settled between them: But truly those who have inherited the Book after them are in suspicious (disquieting) doubt concerning it''.
What I had willed to all of the mentioned prophets was through divine messages was that they should obey the religion that had been determined for them, should not have discord about it, should preserve unity about it and should not have disagreement about it. Then he interpreted this matter about the religion and Muslims should not disperse in the path of God. As a consequence, the meaning of the sentence is '' all of people should follow the religion of God completely and they should not discriminate in fulfilling the obligations of the religion, they fulfill some of them and they give up fulfilling others. The religion is that we act whatever God has descended and believe in whatever God has made necessary. All of Sharia's that God has descended over prophets is a religion and we should not make discord about it. Order to obeying the religion and not making discord about it include all people in all times and all places;
''أَنْ أَقِیمُوا الدِّینَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا فِیهِ''
The meaning of the verse is that all of people that Sharia had been determined for did not disperse from the Sharia, did not make discord about it and did not lose the unity of word when their discord started, they did not have science about what was true, but tyranny and jealousy that they had among themselves prevented them from acting according to their science. As a consequence, they made disagreement in the religion of God. Hence, meaning from disagreement in this part is not that disagreement in the religion caused that branches and classifications appeared in human. Immaculate God considers disagreement that human had before Sharia was descended and it caused that God determined Sharia as disagreement in the ways of the life and discord in the affairs of the life that were considered as the source of disagreement that human had in nature, tastes and purposes and they become means so that divine messages were descended, the religion was determined and disagreements were removed.
''إِنَّ الدِّینَ عِندَ اللَّهِ الْإِسْلَامُ ۗ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ الَّذِینَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْیًا بَیْنَهُمْ ۗ وَمَن یَكْفُرْ بِآیَاتِ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِیعُ الْحِسَابِ''
''The Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will): Nor did the People of the Book dissent therefrom except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account''
It can be understood from the verse that in spite of the fact the book of God has descended to them and exalted God had expressed to them, disagreement that Sunnis had with Jewish people in the religion was not due to their ignorance and it was true that the reality of the matter had not revealed to them and had not known that God was single, but they were aware of it completely and only their motivation in this disagreement was their arrogance and tyranny and they did not have any excuses and this way blasphemy that they had toward the clear verses of Quran that revealed the reality of the matter for them.
