Many love the taste of Pirashki but since they think it is tough to make it home, they prefer to get it out.
Here is a short recipe to have a couple of simple, delicious Pirashki.
You can make it with either eggplants or mushroom and broccoli. Give it a try. Certainly, you'll love it!
Ingredients for Pirashki dough
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
Ingredients for filling
40 g mozzarella
100 g feta cheese
200 g grilled, ground eggplants
200 g chopped mushrooms
100 g broccoli, finely chopped
Salt and pepper as per taste
Directions:
In a dish, saute 1 spoon of chopped mushrooms till water comes out into the dish. Stir in the chopped broccoli and keep sauteing. Season to taste with pepper Stir in 20 g of mozzarella and 50 g of feta cheese and continue sauteing. Leave the dish aside.
In another dish, saute the grilled and ground eggplants along with 20 g Mozzarella and 50 g feta cheese. add in a pinch of pepper and keep sauteing. Put it aside as well.
In a mixing bowl, combine well 1 spoon butter, 1/2 cup pf water along with 1/2 cup oil and salt. Gradually add in flour to have a dough which does n't stick into your palm.
Take an apple-sized piece off the dough and spread over the working surface or board applying a rolling pin. Then Using round steel shapers make them into a thin circular layer.Put the fillings in the center of the circles and push the edges on together. You can shape them into your desired forms like, rectangle or triangle. But round ones are more popular. Grease a non-stick frying pan and put the Pirashki in it. Don't forget to rub yolk on the top surface of the Pirashki with a brush and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Set the dish in the middle shelf of the oven at medium temperature, almost 370 degrees Fahrenheit 2 minutes.
