Once upon a time there was a king in ancient times. At his end of life, when the king was dying, he turned to his son and asked him to use his fortune wisely after the death of the king. The king died and was buried and his mourning ceremony was held. After that, the king's son, who used to do drunken orgies, lost all of his fortune in gambling and profligacy. When the authority felt that the situation was bad, they dethroned him and put another person as king instead of him and expelled the boy from the court.
The boy and his mother went out of the court and took a house and began to live with each other. Their life passed hardly until when the boy said his mother: "If you have money, please give me twenty Toomans. I want to go to market."
His mother gave him some money, and he went to market. There he saw that a shopkeeper had taken a pigeon and was beating it. He said the shopkeeper: "Why are you beating this pigeon?"
Then man answered: "This pigeon has broken some porcelain of my shop costing as much as twenty Toomans." The boy gave the shopkeeper the money he had and bought the pigeon from him and brought it to home.
As soon as his mother saw the pigeon and understood what his son had done, said his son: "It was better to take some food for eating instead of this pigeon."
The boy replied nothing and at tomorrow again took twenty Toomans from his mother and went to market. There he saw that this time a shopkeeper had tied a can and was beating it. The boy said: "Why are you beating this cat?"
The shopkeeper answered: "This cat has eaten some yogurt of my shop costing as much as twenty Toomans." This time too, the boy gave the shopkeeper twenty Toomans and bought the cat from him and brought it to home. This time his mother got angry and said him: "Why do you buy every day a worthless thing? Have you become mad? What are you doing?"
The next day again the boy took twenty Toomans and went to market. He saw that a person had put a chest on back of a mule and was crying: "H have a chest full of worthless things. If you buy it you will be regretful, and if you won't buy it you will extremely regretful."
The boy gave twenty Toomans and bought it and brought it to home and hid it in the store room.
In the fourth day, he again took twenty Tooman from his mother and went to market and bought an arrow and a bow and came back to home. His mother became happy and said: "Today you bought a good thing!"
In the next day, the boy took the arrow and bow to the mountain with him and hunted a ram and came back to home. When he arrived, he noticed that the house was very clean. He immediately called his mother and asked her: "Who has made the home clean?"
His mother said: "I don't know who has come here last night and has cleaned the house."
The boy noticed that the lock of the chest had been opened. So he said his mother: "After dinner go and sleep next to the chest. Certainly what has happened is because of this chest."
After eating dinner his mother went and slept next to the chest. At the midnight she noticed that the lid of the chest was opened and a girl came out of it and took the sweep and began to sweep up the home. When her work was finished and wanted to come back to the chest, she took the wrist of the girl and said: "Who are you? From where have you come?"
The girl kept silent and said nothing. The mother took her to her son and the son wanted her to tell the story of herself. The girl realized that she had no way but telling her story. So she faced the boy and said: "I am the daughter of the king of this city and I didn't want to become the wife of the son of one of the rich men of this city. I would like to wed with an understanding person. I ordered to make for me such a chest that its luck could be opened and closed from inside, and wanted a person who had a mule that when I went to the chest to put the chest on back of his mule and to move the mule throughout the city while crying that he had a chest full of worthless things, and if anyone would buy it he would become regretful while if he would not buy it he would become extremely regretful. One day the boy went hunting. He was going in a valley that he saw two snakes, one black and the other one white, were fighting with each other, and the black snake had taken the neck of the white snake and wanted to strangle it. The boy shot toward the black snake.
The white snake that had been feed immediately became a girl and came toward the boy and said: "Bravo! I am the daughter of the king of the fairy. This black snake was the servant of me. He wanted to attack me in this desert. Now we should go to my father in order that he will help you. But I say you that my father will give you the ring he has under his tongue. The name of that ring is the wife of Hamaroon. When he will give it to you, he will say you nothing. But now I say you that you can reach any desire you have with that ring."
The boy and the girl went together until they reached the house of the king of the Perry. The king noticed that his daughter was coming together with a person while her servant was not accompanying her. The king said the girl: "Where is your servant?" The girl answered that the servant intended to attack her in the desert and that boy rescued her and killed the servant.
As the king heard so, took his hand to his mouth and took out a ring from the beneath of his tongue and gave it to the boy. The boy took it and put it under his tongue and said goodbye to the king and his daughter and came out.
When he was completely far from the court of the king of the Perry, he decided to test the ring. So he took out the ring and said: "O Ring of Hamaroon's wife! Convey me in this mountain to some preys."
Immediately the ring conveyed him to some antelopes. The boy hunted some of them and took one of them and put the rest beside a grove.
When he returned back to his home, he called his neighbor, who was a skillful hunter, and said him: "I have hunted some antelopes and put them near a grove. Go and bring them."
The boy went to his home and said his wife: "This house is not suitable for life. We should build a good palace for ourselves." The woman said: "Can we do so?"
The husband said nothing. He went and chose a place and took out the ring and ordered: "Make ready just here a so wonderful palace for me." Immediately a very beautiful palace appeared there.
The boy returned back and took all the furniture of the house and his wife and his mother to the palace. From then on they were living happily together until when an old witch passed there and saw the palace and said to herself: "Everyone who has built this palace, possesses bead. I should go to his wife and try to steal the bead."
The old woman went to the palace of the boy and noticed that the boy had gone for hunting and his wife was alone. First of all completely coax the woman and when the woman was quite attracted to her, she said: "Where is your husband?" The woman answered: "He has gone to mountain for hunting."

The old woman said: "I have heard that your husband has some good beads that has not shown them to you." The old woman said this speech and ate some food and went.
In the evening, when the husband came back to home, he noticed that his wife was upset and sad. He said to her: "Why are you upset?" The woman said: "Because you have good things that has not shown to me." The man asked: "What for example?" The woman said: "For instance the same precious bead you have."
The man said: "I have nothing other than this ring I have put under my tongue and I must not take it out, and it will perform whatever to be ordered to it." The woman said: "Give it to me and let it be to me."
The man did not want to accept this offer, but the woman insisted on her offer so much and eventually the man agreed. The woman took the ring from the man, but her husband told her: "O woman! The old woman said: "If I would come here half an hour later, you would have died, since this ring is poisoned and your husband wanted to kill you by it." Afterwards she wrapped the ring in an handkerchief and after they ate something they slept.
When the girl was asleep, the old woman got up and took the ring out and ordered to it: "O Hamaroon's wife's ring! Make appear my Ahmad." As soon as possible, Ahmad, the old woman's son, was there by them.
The old woman took the ring again and said: "O the ring of Hamaroon's wife! Take this house to the island Das." Immediately this order was obeyed too and all of them transmitted to there.
The cat and the pigeon that were in the house of the boy noticed that their home did exist no longer. The pigeon said to the cat: "Let's go and try to find our home." The went following the palace, until when the pigeon saw the palace from above in air and returned back to the cat and said: "The palace of our master is in the island I could saw." The cat said: "Can you take me, too, there?"

The cat went and took the king of mice and said it: "You must order the mice to search all the corners of the palace to find the ring, otherwise I will eat you." It ordered and wanted all the mice to come there. It said to them: "Go and search this palace and find the ring."
They went and searched but they could not find it. They returned to the cat and said: "We could find nothing, but there exists a two-legged mouse that probably is able to find it." So, they wanted the two – legged mouse to come. When it came and understood what happened it said: "Go and bring for me a sack of pepper in order that I can find the ring."
The mice went and brought a sack full of pepper and gave it to the two – legged mouse. The two – legged mouse made its tail wet and hit it to the pepper and blended it completely with pepper. The it entered th court and hit its tail to the nose and mouth of the old woman. The old woman began to sneeze and suddenly the ring was thrown out of her mouth. At once the mouse took it and brought it and gave it to the cat.
The cat put the ring in the feathers of the pigeon and rode itself on the back of the pigeon and they flew toward the land.
Near the beach, the cat had a gentle movement causing the fall of the ring into the sea. But the pigeon said nothing to the cat. When they reached the land, the pigeon said to the cat: "Where you had a movement, the ring dropped into the sea."

Immediately he was well. Then he said: "O Ring of Hamaroon's wife! Bring back here my house wherever it is." The ring brought back his palace immediately.
As the boy entered the palace, he noticed that they were sleeping steel. He took his sword and killed the old man and her son. Then he faced his wife and said: "You did not do good thing."
